Yelp has let me down!! So disappointed...this isn't 4.5 star worthy and it was just okay. I went in a spa pedi and gel manicure for the first time based on the good reviews on Yelp. I asked for Pam because of all the reviews were raving about her work. Everyone was very nice and accommodating when I walked in..I called in last minute asking if I can come in 30 mins later. They accepted me to do that. I will start off with a positive by saying that I didn't feel rushed when I got my pedicure. So that's a big bonus for me. The prices seemed very reasonable (pedicure being 14 dollars). I forget how much the gel manicure cost. I got my nails done by Pam and she was very distracted. I get it, she answers calls and greets customers but she kept on texting her friend while she was doing my nails. I dont like how the gel mani turned out. It's very sloppy at the cuticle line and uneven. And FYI, the shortest massage ever!! She slapped some lotion on and bam!! That was it!! She boasted how it turned out good because she did it ...I've had way better!! Also, this place doesn't have disposable slippers...I've never been to a place that doesn't have these until now!! I had asked her if they take card and she had said yes and we dont charge extra. So, I checked in on yelp to get my $1 off and then she proceeded to tell me the bill. I asked her to break it down. She explained that they charge $5 to take off the gel manicure since it was another place that did it. And next time, since they did my nails, they wont charge me. Okayyyyy....I did have that happen to me before but these days so many places take them off for free since they're doing my nails. Okay fine, now then she says she has to charge me an extra dollar for using my credit card. Sigh, I asked her what that was about and how I understood there was no extra charge. Not sure if if I misunderstood her or she just added that to compensate for the loss of dollar from the Yelp check-in. So, if anyone can tell me that would be great so I can have piece of mind!! She quickly changed the subject and said my nails look nice. Wah wah wah...first world problems right?!?! But yeah, I wont be back here...Pam's customer service sucks. She seemed disinterested in engaging in conversation when I made small talk and even seemed annoyed. So much for being nice to people!! read more

My go to nail salon for a pedicure, staff is extremely nice and friendly. They are located in the Best Buy plaza on via campo. The actual salon is hard to find because they are located all the way in the back corner. I always come right when I get off work since its on the way home for me. Everyone is great, I've never left unhappy with my pedicure. They take their time to really deep clean and to cut your cuticles. Spa pedicure is only $14 which is a steal! They've never rushed my pedicure even if there's customers waiting to be serviced. Make sure to bring your own sandals because they don't have the disposable ones here. They charge $1 extra for cards, don't forget to bring cash for tip. read more

I finally found my new nail place!!! I wish I would had given 5 stars but I called to make an appointment and told me there wasn't no need, that I could just walk in. I walked in 15 min later and the time was 30 min. I was a bit annoyed so I came back an hour later and I'm so glad I did!! Pam was super sweet and gave me exactly what I wanted with good service. I have gone to a lot of places from fancy to ghetto, from Westminster/Bolsa to Newport Beach. This place keeps it real, and I like it. Good quality no-nonsense work. But also beautiful and artistic. And affordable!! It's like getting a mani/pedi from a close family member, but is very skilled. They don't rush you, and are not afraid to take the time to give you a quality product. I've been to places where they don't give you a nice flower at the end, because they are rushing because there are other people waiting, and still charge you five bucks, and expect a fat tip for something that is not very pretty. For example, my girl made a mistake when doing my flower. She quickly owned up to it and started all over again. Like, from the start, as in primer. On *both* toes. Even though there were people waiting (thank God they were patient), she wanted to do the job right. And when I paid, even though I gave her extra, she didn't assume what her tip was. She gave me the exact change back, and respectfully waited for me to confirm how much tip I was giving her. Much respect to this place for that. read more

Everyone that works here is very nice, professional and does a great job! They have a lot of gel colors to choose from. They take cash or card but you can only tip them cash, not through your card. I went to this place on a Saturday early afternoon to get a pedi and mani. The lady attending me made one of my toes bleed. I thought it was an accident, so I said it was okay. When the same lady worked on my hands, she clipped my nails but did not think of filing my nails. She was going to put nail polish over my unfiled nails, so I had to remind her to file. When she finished filing, my nails were very uneven. I'm not sure if she's licensed to do nails or not. Unfortunately, my first experience here was not a good one. read more

But lately their is no communication with getting a straight answer on scheduling an appointment or we get an appointment with a certain girl and we get move around?? Pam is not professional on being fair with her workers, in that business everyone earns their clientele and if I make an appointment with Tracy I expect to be seen by her and tip at my convenience.
