We came here for lunch on a rainy day. They had all the walls up but tons of views of the water still. This place is very large and even on a weekday it was pretty crowded. Huge bar and TVs so I'm sure on the weekends this place gets very busy and fun. We had tacos. Kids quesadilla and a burger. It was all pretty good. It did take a while to grab the check but better than being rushed out. Worth the stop on your Greenport visit. read more

Never once have I had a great experience here after all the years I've come. The service is always slow. The food is good sometimes but not always. This last trip was a joke however... My friend and I wanted to stop in for a quick app and a drink each. We got seated and wanted to order a drink. My friend asked for a whiskey sour and the server said they don't have those on the menu. I asked- the bar doesn't have whiskey? I think he just didn't know what the drink was and was telling us they didn't have it. He asked the bar and they said they would make it and I got a simple bottle of corona. We also ordered baked clams to share. We kept waiting for our drinks, but they never came. Our food came, however. The clams were extremely tiny. Like unexpectedly tiny. We waited five more minutes for our drinks to arrive, but they never came and our server disappeared as well. We ate our clams and then sat for an additional 10 minutes and then finally I just put a 20 under the plate and we got up and left. The clams were $24 but I didn't even care at that point. The only thing I can recommend this place for is going there and sitting directly at the bar and only ordering drinks. read more

So I come here every summer and it's alway been nice lunch. This year, something has shifted. The prices have climbed to a ridiculous level. 30 dollars for Nachos with hardly any meat. Like it's chips. Stop it. I also asked if I could swap out fries for baked potato. Was told I can only swap for a salad. Fine. My nephew wanted to swap to sweet potato fries. Also no. We would have to order from the sides menu. The side menu items are 12 dollars each. 12 dollars for a plain baked potato ?'!?!?!! I'm sorry. That's just robbery. Maybe just a small upcharge to swap? Crazy. We won't be back. My Mahi Mahi Tacos were so soggy with wet Cole slaw that the taco fell apart. I told the waiter and he just said sorry and shrugged. We won't be back. First off I'll start that the location is great and the service, ambiance and quality of the food was excellent. The main issues stem from how overpriced some of the food is and the music is far too LOUD. Lobster rolls is what half of our party had and while either the hot or cold options are very flavorful and a decent amount of lobster the bread used could have been much bigger and the amount of lobster should have been more for the $44 price tag,, $30-$35 would have been far more reasonable, also we were supposed to get coleslaw with our lobster rolls and no one in party received it, the fries served were also well salted and tasty but it's obvious they give you an excessive amount to compensate for the size of the lobster rolls. Other meals like the baked salmon were solid and the calamari was among the best out group tried, English clam chowder was also very good but a bit expensive for soup. Didn't try any desserts but I'm sure they would have been decent. Also can't speak much about the drinks so most in our party didn't have any. Overall food is much improved due to the new owners and the place is always in a nice spot as ever. I just hope they can adjust the prices as they are a bit higher than they reasonably should be and the music needs to be lowered since it's too loud to even talk with your party. Hope when we eventually return they improve upon the experience and prices. read more

Claudio's has come a long way from the local haunt I remember from childhood. The space is really well done, with modern furniture and a fantastic patio for outdoor dining. And the service was great, even as foot traffic picked up for the afternoon rush. The menu really impressed me. It's focused on seafood, of course, but this Claudio's isn't afraid to try new things. For example, the lobster crispy rice was a unique twist on the seafood staple, serving up lobster with a delicious sauce and cubes of fried rice that hit the spot. The blackened swordfish sandwich was excellent, the fish was prepared perfectly and the fries were out of this world. All in all, a great meal at a must-visit restaurant if you're visiting Greenport and have a seafood itch to scratch! read more
