Hot dog meal served with chips.

Our group of 6 had to eat at a table in the bar area as it was over a two-hour wait for the dining room. Service was slow. Menu printed on copy paper. Our meals came out at four separate times, mine being the last to be served. The rest of our table had finished eating by the time my HOT DOG AND CHIPS arrived. Thank goodness the meal only cost about $6.00! The menu said the meal would include a pickle spear. I didn't get one, but I was so hungry by the time my food arrived that I didn't want to wait any longer for anything else. My waitress brought me a 2nd beer after the LONG wait. I didn't order it but I thought it might be to make up for the super long wait. Wrong. I was charged for two beers on my bill. This place missed the mark for me.

Popped in for breakfast here after an early morning of swimming with the manatees. We sat outside on the patio and soaked up the beautiful views of the pool and river. We had just swam with manatees so I had to stay on theme and order the manatee pancakes. They were so cute! We also had the omelet , which was tasty . Our server kept our glasses full while being both attentive and prompt . Docking a star because when I checked in on Yelp , there was an offer for a glass of wine . When I attempted to redeem there was a whole lot of confusion . I had to go to the front registration desk . While waiting to speak with the woman behind the desk , I overheard the guest in front of me ask for a receipt . The employee balked and questioned why he wanted a receipt . I was standing near so it was impossible for me not to hear and I thought the way the employee handled the simple request was very unprofessional. I knew then I was in for a trouble with my little Yelp offer lol. When it was my turn the employee made me feel like a big inconvenience - she exclaimed she had no clue about the Yelp offer and made several phone calls and took several pictures of my phone and acted like they were about to lose 1000 over a cheap glass of wine ! I finally was about to walk away and I guess she just saw my frustration and approved it . Had I realized at the dining table it was going to be such an ordeal I would have not brought it up . Anyways , we did redeem the Yelp offer for a glass of wine but the front desk employee needs a training class on basic customer service. As of May 2021, here's a few things to note: - The restaurant is located inside the Plantation Resort. You don't have to be a guest of the resort to dine here. -Plenty of free on site parking. -There's an indoor bar with a piano and also an outdoor tiki bar . - There's a YELP offer for a free glass of wine when you checkin on the app . Hopefully, my situation mentioned above will make it easier for you to redeem the offer:) I think we'd give this place another shot if we are ever in the area again . Can't beat the views and the cute manatee pancakes !

we didn't eat in the restaurant but the Tiki Bar with more of a bar menu. Views are great and prices are fair. My wife had the Fried Scallop Basket and I had the Peel and Eat Shrimp. The scallops were well cooked not to heavy and a decent value. The shrimp were slightly overcooked and only came with 8 for a $9.00 price. We'd go back but would pass on the shrimp

Expectations were not high based on...,,well its in a hotel and off the main drag. It more than exceeded our expectations to include service by Laura. Ask for her if she's there you will not disappointed. We will be back tomorrow for breakfast

We were staying at the Plantation Inn and it was one of those nights that we didn't feel like getting in the car to get dinner. After looking at the menu, we were pleasantly surprised by the prices. The price point was reasonable unlike many hotel/resort restaurants. We sat in the bar/grill area and were promptly greeted by our server. She was friendly and attentive. We started with the Baked Brie. The portion size is good and enough to share with maybe even 3-4. However, my husband & I managed to inhale it all on our own. For dinner, I had the Grouper Sandwich and he had the Shrimp Tacos. Both were good and nicely presented. Our server brought out a garlic-cilantro sauce for the plantain chips that was delicious! We also ordered a pitcher of Sangria and that was the only let down. It pretty much tasted like fruit punch. We also had breakfast there twice. Once, we did the buffet which was goo & plentiful. The next day we ordered a la carte. My husbands Ham Steak breakfast was huge. I chose the Waffle with Strawberries & Whipped Cream. I expected strawberries with strawberry sauce topping. But no, it's a waffle topped with a few strawberries with a side of cream and a side of maple syrup. I don't like maple syrup, so I was pretty disappointed. I ended up stealing my husband's biscuit and a piece of his ham steak. But no worries, he got my waffle. :) West 82 is a great dining option. Especially if you are staying on-site and don't feel like going anywhere.

When it was poured, I noticed the bottle with the name of the wine I chose said it was a blend from CA. I pointed it out to bartender and she said she never noticed that. During this time, friends of owner came in and she left it with me to drink instead of a cab. I wish I would have pushed the issue but moreover I felt ahe should have made a correction for me. We stayed as they were busy with people coming in from a wine tasting event and we enjoyed talking to the other customers. Just seemed like she didn't care ?

KC Wine Bistro intrigued us with its varied menu offerings. Upon walking in, we were asked to sit anywhere. We chose a table inside, not aware that there was ample outdoor seating just out back. We were presented a menu and my wife and I chose to start with traditional lumpias (Filipino egg rolls). My wife ordered the Ahi Tuna BLT and I opted for the Ribeye Rice Bowl. The lumpias were very good. Freshly deep fried, hot and crispy served with a sweet and tangy chili sauce. My wife liked her BLT and the huge spears of fried potatoes served with it. They were quite generous with the pieces of ahi as well. My dish was equally good with tender and flavorful slivers of ribeye in a flavored rice and grilled vegetables. Service was friendly and attentive. After our meal, I chatted up a lady who I learned was the proprietor and who just happened to be from the Philippines. We'll definitely be back!

Finally, for her birthday we went for a late lunch. She ordered the chicken sandwich. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and the Bang Bang shrimp for an appetizer. The only thing I can say that is positive is that Bri, the waitress was very nice, and the Bang Bang shrimp was very good, everything else was very poor. French fries tasted like they were fried in an old batter of grease My wife's chicken was like hard rubber. She took one bite and didn't eat it and left the rest. Unfortunately, the service we received was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Before arriving at 4pm, I called and was told the wait would be about 20 minutes. We showed up 30 minutes later, the restaurant didn't look busy, and there were plenty of open seats at the bar, so we sat down. The bartender with pigtails completely ignored us. Eventually, a second bartender helped us. We were very low-maintenance customers we started with waters and took time to look at the menu. Service was slow from the beginning. When the bartender finally returned to take our order, she cut me off mid-question to help someone else. We ordered the Low Country Boil ($60) and a side salad as an appetizer. I ordered a Tito's lemon drop shot, and my friend ordered one of their canned vodka cocktails with a glass. The canned cocktail arrived without a glass, and my shot never came. Meanwhile, new customers sat down next to us and were immediately greeted, given menus, and served drinks before I ever received mine. My lemon drop shot finally arrived about 15 minutes later with the explanation that it took time to "mull the lemon." Our food arrived without the salad, crawfish, or sausage that were supposed to come with the boil. Since getting the bartender's attention had already been difficult, we started eating because we were starving after paddleboarding. Halfway through the meal, the bartender brought the salad and said it was supposed to come out earlier and joked that she would eat it if we didn't want it which felt unprofessional, especially since it was ordered as an appetizer. To make matters more confusing, another table had received the crawfish that were supposed to be part of our order and had to give them to us themselves. The bartender never checked on us, never refilled drinks, and never followed up about the missing items until we flagged her down. When the bill came, she told us she removed my friend's canned vodka cocktail and discounted my Tito's lemon drop shot from $14 down to $7. If she did indeed charged me half price for that lemon drop shot its was because it took her so long to get it to me (almost like she forgot the order). I find it hard to believe that a lemondrop shot is $14 but an oyster shooter with Titos is $8.I politely asked if anything could be done to account for the incomplete meal and inattentive service. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the bartender became argumentative and raised her voice, saying she was short-staffed and working alone, which was clearly not the case. Her way of resolving the issue was to place another order of what we got which made NO sense at this point. As my friend was signing the checks, the bartender told her she has five kids. If that's the case, then she should be more than capable of handling the volume we experienced and the low-maintenance customers we were. In that moment, the interaction felt immature and unprofessional, especially after the level of service we had just received. I'm not someone who skips tipping I usually tip well but since nothing was done to make the situation right, I chose not to leave one. We left and went down the road for drinks, where the bartenders took pride in their service and they received the 30% tip I originally intended to leave here. Thank you for an unforgettable Valentine's Day experience.
