We love this restaurant. We arrived on a Friday night about7:00. The restaurant was full and people waiting. We were put on the list . About a 20 minute wait +. We sat at the bar and watched the staff working so hard and organized. Every employee helped each other. Then we met Alisa. She had the greatest personality and was so entertaining. We got a table and were so happy to get Alisa as a server. Drinks were good. Our grouper almandine was huge. It was so delicious and cooked to perfection. We needed a few things and a helper was right on it. We watched with amazement at the great management and staff of this place. This is one of our favorite places for fresh seafood. Say hi to Alisa

It was a long & rainy & totally beautiful drive out to Peck's. It sits on the edge of scenic islands & water. We sat outside for lunch & had a very personable waitress. I ordered a blackened white fish with cole slaw & cheese grits. The fish was a little undercooked & I almost said something. It was borderline. The blackening spice really did not have any discernible flavor which surprised me. The slaw & grits however were very good. Overall I think this place is great for its location & setting. But the food was a little rough.

This place is definitely worth the winding drive out into the bay. When you finally make it out hernandez see 30 cars and just as many motorcycles, you know you are in fir a treat. I had the fish platter blackened, which was good and at a good price. The inside is well done and has a survival story for the hurricanes and 6 1/2 feet of water they encountered that is worth a listen. Overall the beachy ambiance is nicely done. Finally the service was great, attentive and friendly. We would definitely come again when visiting the manatees at 3 Sister Spring.

Our first time at Peck's Old Port Cove, and it was absolutely worth the drive! We started with the lobster bites ($19.93)--crispy, hot, and full of tender lobster, served with drawn butter. Great portion size! They also surprised us with complimentary onion straws--fresh and tasty. For mains, we had the bay scallops sautéed in butter and lemon ($18.93), perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, served with hush puppies and slaw. We also shared a pound of peel-and-eat shrimp ($27.73), garlic-style--served hot, buttery, and loaded with garlic. Some of the best shrimp we've had in a long time. Kristen, our server, was friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. We'll definitely be back soon!

I hate to give a one star review - and it may be more about the fact that the food used to be so good and now with the new ownership - it's just mediocre. Service was ok but it took forever to get our food. We had a huge party and I know that's tough. I'd rather not do this but I KNOW this is exactly what you need to hear. Green beans tasteless Grouper ok Shrimp - very tough Steamed oysters - absolutely INEDIBLE - I sent them back and I never do that Read my other reviews - I'm a 5 star guy - I love giving great reviews but again - you guys need to know this. Gotta keep this great institution great. Thnx and God bless.

Finally came back. We had a big group and were able to order a ton of different items. Apps were fried pickles and fried Gator but also enjoyed the onion strings they gave out. My blackened filet of fish was good but a little salty. Cheesy grits and hush puppies and Cole slaw were all good. My father in law had the banging fried shrimp which was great. My wife had the coconut shrimp which had a raspberry dipping sauce which was great. Even my daughter's hot dog looked awesome. Glad we finally got here and would definitely come back.

Visiting Mom again but this time with my sister. Decided to take her for the car ride and for lunch here at Pecks. A beautiful day for a ride with a lite amount of fog. The atmosphere is nautical in theme with some beautiful wood worked benches in front of the bar. We were asked if we wanted inside or outside dining, we chose inside. Sat quickly , menus given, and utensils placed at each seat. Menu has not changed much from what I recall and this time ordered the half dozen Blue fin crabs with no seasoning. They offer Old Bay which I have an aversion to, Garlic and butter, and plain. Mom had the Crab cakes and my sister a broiled fish (forgot the name). Things came out in a timely manner and hot! They do a great job providing the tools needed for a crab feast, large extra bowl, lots of napkins, a cracker for the claws, and lemons. I ate 3 of the 6, gave one to my sister and took two home which heated up nicely the next day for an egg white crab and spinach omelette. Yum! The view is beautiful from the restaurant and its dock outside. I learned that Pecks is also a Blue Fin Crab farm! They harvest the crabs right outside! Can't get any fresher than that! Glad we made the trip and enjoyed a beautiful day together. We will be back next trip!

Our server, Grace, was fantastic--super friendly and constantly checking in on us, refilling waters and making sure everything was perfect. We ordered the four-person seafood boil, and wow--it did not disappoint. It comes with shrimp, mussels, corn, crab, potatoes, sausage, crawfish, onion, and garlic. There was a ton of food; we ate an unbelievable amount and still had leftovers, which says a lot considering I'm a 6'5" guy. The dark horse of the boil was honestly the onions. After soaking up all those Cajun juices, they were absolutely to die for. The wait can be a bit hefty, but they're pretty efficient, and it is 100% worth it. This place is an absolute must-visit if you're in the area

I'm thinking management must have changed because wow the staff has been better. We both ordered the same thing which we loved from our last trip 2 years ago, the Royal Red Alfredo. We get our dish and it is clearly not what we ordered last time but figure we haven't seen our waitress for 10 minutes and she never even checked on us. We had been out all day so we're starving. Oh, worth mentioning...it was my Birthday. Didnt even get a "Happy Birthday" after mentioning it to our waitress. My mother had to get a refill from the bar. The more we eat the more we realize this wasn't what we ordered, but rather the Shrimp Scampi variant. We call for the manager who argues with us over what an Alfredo sauce is which clearly it is not...he swears it is and that it has separated into God knows what as all we see is a soppy mess of butter and garlic. I show him a picture from Yelp of another customer's Alfredo from the restaurant we are CURRENTLY sitting in and told this is an old picture...We both realize we're getting gaslit as we know what an alfredo sauce is and had the exact dish so we know what it looks like. We agreed that we ate the food and will pay the price for the scampi dish they served us which is $2 cheaper than what we actually ordered. They refused to lower the bill so we left and paid without tipping. I've never had an experience quite like this where the manager will not even work with you. Not even an apology...we will never be back here again. You can judge for yourself if that looks like Alfredo to you. If you want straight seafood, this place might be alright, but the service we received was absolutely terrible.

The chicken was disturbingly small Chicken- butchered thin( less than 1/2 breast portion) The chicken not breaded, breast filet sliced served on an oversized bun, which belittles the poor chicken. When complained another breast sandwich was sent right away, but was not cooked. How can you send out RAW chicken! Chef ramsey would be infuriated! also portioned smaller than bread and full of gristle. Un- edible. Made due with over-cooked first order to appease my appetite, and not to complain a thirtd time. but both a sad looking chicken choice for the $10.99 price tag. However, our Waitress tried to compensate for the cooks poor or lack of skill: by only charging the price of the french fries. For a day of just taking a drive and finding this restaurant on the water, he view was gorgeous on the suwanee. Lovely day, nice weather and many airboats and finshing along the banks, the food I would skip.
