I went to Clawed for the first time as a treat to myself. I selected The Red Claw pedicure with gel and a coloring full almond shaped acrylic set with gel. It's a relatively small staff but the ladies are friendly and attentive. The shop is very clean. All tool we're talking out of new packaging in front of me for each service. There were many walk-ins so I would suggest booking an appointment in advance. I was about 20 mins early and service started promptly. I was not in a rush, so I appreciated the time and care they took. I enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was great and sanitary. I've already made my two week appointment. I love Clawed Nail Salon. It's clean with great decor and close to other great stores. I hate having to go out of my way to get services done. Here I can get my nails done, grab a bite to eat, and do a little shopping the same center. My tech Myisha did a great job on my nails. First time for almond shaped acrylics. When she was done, my marbled design looked like someone's real marble floor. She took out the secret paint stash to make sure my design was just right. I would love to give this place a good review because they look like they do amazing work. BUT after I had called and spoke to a really nice person to schedule an appointment for a mani and pedi for my birthday I was told I would get a call later that day to pick what time and day because their appointment person wasn't in at the moment. I waited three days no call so I called for a week straight and left voicemails and NEVER received a call back. If they closed that's fine but at least let a person know so they can make other arrangements... especially with it being for my birthday. read more

I don't normally bother putting color on my fingernails because they tend to chip in a day or so. However, the results from Clawed were completely different than the norm. While visiting my niece in California, she took me to Clawed Nail Salon, Crystal was my technician and throughout the service she paid detailed attention to every step of the process. She checked with me to make sure she accomplished my shaping preference, and periodically asked me if things were progressing to my expectations. Overall, she demonstrated expert skills and superb customer service. When I stepped out of the salon, I was in awe with "diva-licious" nails. My first thought was "too bad they will not look this great in 48 hours". Well, my thoughts have never been so wrong. Today is the eighth day following the manicure and only if inspecting very closely, can you see the polish is beginning to fade at the tips. The photo posted with this review is a photo of DAY 8. The manicure and polish survived my normal week of house work, to include washing dishes daily, plus I cleaned out my garage. Then there is the almost eight hours each day of using a keyboard at work. Crystal, you are simply "THE BEST". I look forward to my next trip to Southern California so my nails can get Clawed by Crystal. From what I learned, this is a fairly new nail salon and from the looks of things, and from my first hand experience, this salon and the associates are not run of the mill. I had been researching new nail salons, as well as a salon to get my birthday nails done. I inquired about an appointment through the yelp app and got a response within 20 minutes. JoEtta worked with ny schedule and when I arrived, I was attended almost right away. Faby was my nail tech and was so patient and understanding. I let her know that they were for my birthday, but i have never gotten any fancy designs and usually only got solid colors. I told her i had been playing around with the gold foil idea. I pretty much let her take over the design, but she made sure to check in with me and make sure i was comfortable with her ideas. JoEtta also checked in with me periodically. I was given complimentary wine and treated with the upmost respect. It was also a plus that the staff is beautifully diverse. This is definitely where I'm coming to get my nails done from now on. I love this place! I started going this summer after a bad experience at my previous salon. I go monthly, have gone about 3-4 times. Have had manis, pedis, sculpted nails with different technicians, everyone here is very nice, professional, and relatable, but Myesha is my go to. Part#1 Haven't gotten my pedicure done yet, BUT let me start by saying I am impressed by the level of communication this salon had with me. They had booked me last minute for a 10am, but because of some mix up had to be changed to 3:30pm, since it was last minute I had no problem, but for the salon to call me and go out of there way to communicate is impressive. Can not wait for my pedicure! Will post a 2nd to my review! Part#2 So I went Into the salon. First let me start by saying it is so beautiful inside! And no language barrier at the front desk. So I went in and checked in with the front desk, and she was very kind and told me to choose my nail color. She told a tech that I would be her next client, and to my surprise the technician didn't know she had another client. I think she got upset, but hey everyone is human. She proceeded to finish up with prior client and then prepared my pedicure foot tub. She called me over, and I probably shouldn't have done this, but because I picked up on her maybe being upset.. I wanted to lighten the mood... so I said sorry if you felt rushed because I saw you had a prior client. She said oh no that she wasn't upset. Let me tell you this is the most thorough pedicure I have gotten in a while! I really like that she took her time with my feet. They felt very clean! We didn't make much talk, but as I wanted to again break the ice I made a joke about my "extra" skin because I run a lot. And we proceeded to have a conversation about that. The young lady with glasses at the first work station did offer me something to drink, as i think my technician forgot to offer me one. Overall I would rate this as my top pedicure! Someone else proceeded to charge me at the front desk and she was very polite! Despite everything I will give this salon another try! I highly want this salon to thrive, and it's the only nail salon of its kind close to me. read more

Came in for the first time as a walk in. I was greeted and seated very quickly. The salon is super cool, hip, and clean. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. My nail tech, Danny, looked a little out of it and didn't talk much, if not at all. She took quite a bit of time with my gel mani and regular pedi. I came in at 2:15 and left about 4:10. She did an ok job on my gel mani and not a very good job with my toes... granted I did mess up my big toe... the other toe nails were not painted properly see picture. I still tipped her 20% and am just thinking she was having a bad day. Not sure that I'll come back. For average work I'd rather pay else less elsewhere.
