We had an amazing time at Clay Coopers show! His family and cast has us laughing, clapping, and toe tapping! They were not only very good singers they kept you entertained with great dancing, lights, and props! They included the crowd they were extremely patriotic and had no problem telling you that from the start. They had a full concession stand with amazing roasted nuts, sodas, Carmel and regular kettle corn. It's a full evening experience. And I'd love to see any show they put on! read more

I came from Ohio to see Dean z ultimate Elvis show. I've seen may elvis impersonators and I have to say Dean Z is the best I've ever seen. He is truly has all the moves the voice the look he is the whole package. if you didn't know better you would think you were at an true Elvis concert. he is so down to earth appreciative of his audience and kind. you have to see him if your in Branson mo. ! I would definitely go to another show if gets anywhere close to where I live. read more

We were at the show last night since it has been highly recommended.​ The first part of the show was fun and very entertaining. His sons were both very good singers too. But right before the intermission it turned religious. None of us appreciate someone forcing their beliefs on us, especially when we are paying to be there. After the intermission the show totally went down the tubes. Had we known what was coming we would have left at the intermission. There was a bunch more religion being crammed down our throats, then it moved to politics and, of course, it was the politics of ignorance, and finally to a faux salute to the military. Having family in the military, we know that if this show really cared about the actual military members (not the industrial complex that has billions thrown at it) they wouldn't be pushing the politics they were. Clay Cooper needs to revamp the entire second half of this show to make it as entertaining as the first portion, instead of preachy and political. read more

Attended the Terry Bradshaw Show, and it was very mediocre. Barely lasted an hour, and Terry got winded just trying to finish a song. Also avoid paying the $120 Meet & Greet add on. Terry refuses to sign any outside item, and all $120 gets you is a 30 second visit and a quick photo. Complete waste of money. read more

Haygoods is the greatest show in Branson! That sum my comment. Haygoods brothers and sister performed in Clay Cooper Theater draw a sold out event. Haygoods show is young, energetic, technical, and laser show. Now you know what I mean. The Haygoods siblings are five brother and sister who grow up with a mom stresses the music is the important of their live. Now they are number one show in Branson. The mom may the siblings take all kind instruments- guitar, violin, harp, dance lesson. Most of the kid grow up with Nintendo, artary, or some electronic games. The Haygoods family is raise by single mom don't have much to go around but emphasized the goodness of the music. The mom make the boys were the tin can on the shoe when they were lazy to practice the tap dancing. She make them wear through out the town. The most talented is the young girl the sister who know the most music instruments. Music is up to current period of time from radio station often play song. read more

Hands down, this is THE BEST show in all of Branson. There is nowhere else that you can find the amount of talent jam-packed into one show. Not only is Clay extremely talented, but he is incredibly down-to-earth and genuine. I have never felt so connected to a show as I have to Clay Cooper's. After the show is over please be sure to go by and visit with him. The line usually takes no more than 10 minutes, and he will make you feel like 1 million bucks! His whole family is involved, but he also has other performers who are amazing as well. Don't be fooled by the name "country express" as this show is anything but only country! There is comedy and other types of music too! The only mistake I made in seeing Clay Cooper is now I am not as impressed with other shows in Branson. We can't wait for the New Years Eve show with the Haygoods! read more

I attended a performance of the Clay Cooper show and based on my experiences of attending over 20 shows in Branson the last 3 years, On the surface the show is of average entertainment value. Dig a little deeper and I lose the appreciation for the talent of the performers. I take great exception with the edit to the Garth Brooks song "We shall be free". I could only make assumptions about the motivation for removing the following verse from the song. To borrow a term from card games, the omission of this verse is a definite" tell" as to the nature of one's soul. When we're free to love anyone we choose, When this world's big enough for all different views, When we all can worship from our own kind of pew, Then we shall be free. We shall be free, we shall be free Have a little faith, hold out, 'Cause we shall be free. I might also note that the" Legends in Country" show in Branson features a Garth Brooks tribute artist performing "We shall be free" performing the complete lyrics of the song as written. I find the Clay Cooper revision of the song to feed into the current destructive divisiveness in our country, divisiveness that " if you are not a clone of myself, you are my enemy". I believe our adversaries abroad love this division as we are ourselves are weakening our country making ourselves more vulnerable to future attacks from abroad. I will not support a business that in my opinion feeds into the decisiveness of Americans. I will never again attend a Clay Cooper show and most likely any show performing in the theater that bears his name. Freedom of speech is important, as is the freedom to not financially support a business who's behaviors are contrary to ones values. read more

Went to the Hit's of 60's best show ever. We enjoyed it a lot. We were both in tears by the time it was over. That was the good old times for us my husband enjoyed the 50's and the 60's but I enjoyed the 60's and 70's. But I was very impressed with the Ending. It was Breaking my heart but very good ending with the way the world is today. read more

We attended a show here during a trip to Branson and can't recommend it enough. There is something for the whole family at the Clay Cooper Country Express Show. This is just one of the fabulous shows at the theatre but I highly recommend it. The show has comedy and music from almost every genre. This was a great family production. The music covers were great. They put on a show no doubt. I'm giving the show a 4 just because this isn't for kids. Adult only over 18 I would say. I was blessed with the opportunity to move to Branson two years ago. Some might ask, "why Branson?" And I would have to say the heartwarming joy the people of the Branson community show to everyone. Last night, I was reminded of this true appreciation and hospitality when I visited Clay Cooper's Country Express. From "Mr. Bob" who met us in the parking lot (and if you need help remembering, his name is spelled the same front ways or backwards as he advised), to the entire staff. Then the Pre-Show starts, as my guest mentioned to me "How is Matt Gumm not in Hollywood?" My thought was he is too good and wholesome for Hollywood. Then, the Show starts and Clay, Kari, Colton and crew provide the "Cliffs-notes"  version of why Branson is my new home town! A full tour of amazing music, great dancers, a top level band and I'm sorry but the tribute to the troops always inspires (no I didn't cry, allergies....). read more

Great shows Clay and CV the Haygoods are fantastic. The 3 stars are for area appreciation. Clay must be a very untrusting person. If you reserve for 3 both residents have to come up to the window. Some Branson theatres dont even as and at most have you produce two drivers licences not here had to go out and get the second handicapped person up to the window. Kind of sad. read more

This is a review for the Neal McCoy show...Whenever I see that Neal will be in town at the same time I am I go! This year we pretty much planned the trip around Neal's show. I love to see him in concert. You never know what you're going to get! In fact this year he had a brand new bass guitar player with him and I thought it was a joke until I talked to the guitar player at the end, but Neal kept saying this was the guy's first time with them and they'd never even practiced together. Well he blended well with them and did a great job! The only way you could tell he was actually new was he had some music he was reading off of while the rest of them didn't. Neal puts on an amazing show...he's all over the stage, and off the stage shaking everyone's hand in the audience...well almost...he went through everyone, but somehow missed the front row :duh: We were right in the front center, and didn't get a hand shake. Oh well! :confused: He told jokes and sang some of his biggst hits. He also sang some songs that weren't his, but were crowd pleasers. This was right after he had sang at Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton's wedding, so he told us all stories about that...it's just like watching an old friend on stage. You just feel like you've known him for years! He's so funny I laughed so hard and loved every second of the show!! One thing...he is in the Clay Cooper Theater...be warned the seats are not known to be the most comfortable seats in town. They are small and it is a bit cramped, especially if you or the person you're sitting next to is on the larger side. He will come out afterwards and meet everyone that wants to stay. He'll joke about wanting to go home and not to stay and meet him, but he does and you can tell he enjoys it. He will stay in that lobby until the last person is gone. I even had a chance to sing a little with him afterwards. That's something I always enjoy doing...singing with Neal. Done it a couple of times now and can't wait to do it again. Neal is a very kind and big hearted man with a whole lot of talent to share. You can see when he's on stage is is completely in love with what he's doing and that makes him extra special. Go see his show!! You won't be sorry. read more

Wow.. I just can't believe that there aren't a TON of 5-star reviews for the Clay Cooper show. This was my first time to Branson and we choose this show.. SO glad we did! This team of performers were top notch! We walked in and were immediately sucked in by the incredible sweet yummy smell of roasted almonds, popcorn and misc treats. The box office, and the whole building, was well kept and clean. Everyone was so very friendly.. which, in turn, made all the patrons smile and have a good time. By intermission, we were all friends and having a good ol' time. Clay Cooper and his family put on quite a show, I have to say. He's talented both musically and has the gift of humor, his wife is a beautiful singer and dancer and their (currently) 10 year old son has quite a set of pipes on him too. He belted out "Rockin' Robin" like a seasoned veteran. The dancers and band were also top notch! We loved that there was the main stage and then little acts over on the sides too. It just made you feel surrounded by the show. My favorite parts were when Clay would talk to with the audience. Dang, he's a funny (but polite) guy. When the audience becomes a part of the show, I sometimes worry about the type of humor but this was all in good clean fun. I'm not sure which I enjoyed more... Clay's singing or humor. LOL And let's just put it out there too.. Mr. Gumm was pretty fantastic too. That young man needs his own show; musician, signer, dancer, comedian, artist.. You name it, this guy can do it well!! The whole troop had talents beyond one act; singing and dancing and piano and.. and.. and. Amazing!! I enjoyed every last second of this show! I can't recommend it enough without giving away the whole show so I'll stop right there and say.. GO NOW!! You won't regret it for one second!
