Went in for to check the Crosstrek. Had an appointment for 430. Got in 425. They called a salesman to help me and he was very friendly. Answered my questions and they gave me the car for a test drive. When I came back they had to call him back and I waited 5 minutes. When we sat down to go through the numbers he had some info but not all of it. Most of the questions were to be answered by the manager. He also asked me if I would what it would take to buy that day. Well I told him I was comparing with other cats and dealers and i had to see what they would offer and how the car was to decide so I wouldn't buy that day but I wanted to know so the details, document fees, plates, etc. He answered most of those but you could tell that he had already lost interest since I want going to buy that day. That is a thing that really bothers me at dealerships.. They don't put in as much or any effort when they know you won't be buying that day. If they did, if have a reason to go back and but from them and then later recommend them to friends. Then the salesman left cause he said he was dealing with a someone who had bought another car, while I waited 20 minutes alone for the manager to do an appraisal for my trade in. Finally they called me to the front desk and the manager never came to talk to me. They told me the appraisal which was 3000 below the average kbb value for my car with it's low mileage and for only being 5 years old. I told them that was a very low offer.. Especially since 5 years ago when I got the Jeep, they gave me above blue book max for my previous trade in, which had a lot more miles than this and actually a damaged rear bumper (not just scratches) and I said this cause there are scratches on my current bumper that the person at the desk said would cost them 300 to fix.. And I said yeah..300 not 3000. And still that makes it a very low offer even if they offer the average. He also told me there were two models of the hybrid Crosstrek and asked which one I wanted. Well I didn't notice on their website that there are two models and the salesman never told me this. Generally I can't say this was a great experience because I went in with an appointment and had to wait alone for a long time and also saw the loss of interest because I wouldn't buy that day. Even the manager never came to talk numbers with me. I am disappointed because I really wanted clay Subaru to be my dealer since I live in Norwood. Now I'll just have to check other Subaru dealerships.

Although I was purchasing the vehicle from a different used-car dealership, I spoke with Dan, a Service Manager at Herb Chambers Volvo, beforehand and explained that the Carfax report showed a previous air-conditioning issue and that the AC was not functioning properly at the time of the inspection. Dan and the service team conducted a thorough inspection, including the use of a camera to identify a leak in the evaporator component of the air-conditioning system. They also provided an exceptionally detailed written report outlining safety concerns, recommended repairs, and areas of the vehicle that were in excellent condition. When I returned to the selling dealership with the report, I was told that the AC had simply been recharged and was working properly. Wanting clarification, I contacted Dan regarding the evaporator findings and the items listed in the inspection report. Dan promptly returned my call, walked me through the technician's findings, and even sent me the inspection video so I could share it with the dealership. After reviewing the video, the dealership ultimately confirmed that the evaporator did, in fact, need to be replaced--a repair valued at approximately $5,000. Even though I was not purchasing the vehicle from Herb Chambers, Dan went above and beyond to answer my questions, return my calls, and provide a level of professionalism that was truly outstanding. I am extremely grateful for the transparency, thoroughness, communication, and customer service I received throughout the process. I would not hesitate to bring a vehicle to Herb Chambers Volvo and highly recommend the team to anyone looking for honest, professional, and comprehensive service.

I drive a 2025 BMW 540 that I absolutely love, but every time I drove over rough roads there was a rattling, almost buzzing noise coming from the passenger-side dashboard area. It made the drive much less enjoyable. I tried several things to figure it out myself but could not isolate the source. When I brought the car to BMW Norwood, they suggested I take a drive with Peter. He was fantastic. He was extremely diligent in trying to pinpoint the sound. While I drove to reproduce the noise, he carefully listened from the passenger seat and even leaned toward the dashboard and A-pillar area to better isolate where it was coming from. After identifying the general location, I left the car with him. Peter spent the rest of the day working to track down the exact source of the noise and resolve it. It turned out the sound was coming from the area near the airbag housing. Everything was properly secured, but he applied felt tape to eliminate any vibration and then thoroughly retested the car to confirm the noise was gone. When I picked up the car, the difference was immediate. The rattle is completely gone and the car now drives perfectly, just as it should. I can finally enjoy the ride. I highly recommend the service department at BMW Norwood, and especially Peter for his diligence, attention to detail, and commitment to solving the problem.

I spoke with Anfrenee Bradley in the service department and explained my concerns. At no point was I informed that inspecting the shaking issue would require a separate diagnostic service or incur an additional charge. If I had been made aware of that beforehand, I could have decided whether to proceed or explored other, more affordable options. When it was time to check out, I was surprised to see that my bill was $335 instead of the expected $123. When I asked why, I was told that a diagnostic had been performed and that the charge was necessary because it is how the technicians are paid. However, I was never advised of this cost in advance, nor did I specifically request a diagnostic service. My concern is not simply the additional charge but the lack of communication and transparency before the work was performed. I believe customers should be informed of any services that will result in extra costs so they can make an informed decision. I have opened a case with corporate because I feel this situation could have been handled better. I also would have appreciated an effort to acknowledge the misunderstanding and work toward a resolution. I have had positive experiences with Infiniti of Providence and have always found their communication to be clear and professional. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience moving forward.

I got the battery replaced last year, and a few days ago it just unexpectedly bricked- the vehicle wouldn't start and then I couldn't bring it back with my charger. My neighbor has a badass shop-spec charger he put on it and brought back the battery to life... but it was dead again the next day. I called Jack Madden service to see if the battery I had purchased last year had a warranty, and the person in service didn't really feel like pulling my records so they transferred me to the parts department, who was completely confused what I was asking. So I restated: 'I'm trying to find out if there's a warranty and if it's worth bringing in to repair or if I should have AAA just replace it in my driveway.' His reply: 'Oh... just do that.' You heard it here, folks. AAA was in my driveway quicker than it took me to get off hold with these guys, did a free diagnostic that confirmed my diagnosis, changed the battery for $200 and gave me a 3 year warranty to boot. So as much as these guys have done a lot of work on my vehicle and kept it roadable... if they cost twice as much as AAA and won't give a warranty (or even bother to check if there is one)... just use them for the free oil changes and find other businesses that honor their service agreements to spend your repair dollars at.

After being transferred 6 times (not exaggerating), the part was ordered. Then I was concerned that the part wouldn't be there when I returned, so I made sure with a few more phone calls that they had it in their hands. When I arrived, the part was nowhere to be found and waited over an hour for them to find it with my assistance. Manager said, "oh, the guy who takes your car, doesn't DO parts", even though I insisted to put the part number in my notes, so this situation didn't occur because I knew they were incompetent. "Oh, we put the part back when you didn't come in", but I told them I wasn't coming in for a week and to please hold onto it. Manager made excuses, "I heard the conversation" he said , obviously not. The part should've been there when they saw the appointment in the book so after an hour and a half they rushed to put the part in and didn't take care of the two insignificant things I had asked them to look at when the car was just sitting there while they were all running around with their heads cut off. I lost my temper on Chris Riley, for wasting so much of my time (at this point I was late for work, and I actually take MY work seriously). DO YOUR JOB, its that simple. Got NO apology from him or even a thank you for your business.
