The first review that I made was really good and I like their service but after that service i had another car issue that popped up a month or two later and they would check out my car again. It got to the point where they were unable to fix my car but it kept trying to charge me for stuff that wasn't guaranteeing it to be fixed. This place was taken advantage of my kindness and they were having my car for a couple weeks but not doing anything with it. They charged me almost $900 just to change a spark plug. That makes no sense at all and it took a few hours just to do it. When I got my car back one time I found a cigarette butt too in the air filter. The fees that they have here are just ridiculous. I eventually just said that I just had enough my car because it's beyond repair and it was probably more cheaper in the long run to buy a new car than to keep giving Bartels my money for something that will never be fixed. My heart is broken because I really enjoyed coming here and I brought a few people over to give them a try. I will look elsewhere still for the time being for a new repair person for when my current car wants to throw in a towel.

I know Subaru cars have strange location of oil pan drain plug and many DIYers made the same mistake (not me). But for trained technician, if paying attention it should be avoided. I reckon they immediately recognized the mistake and stopped, and refilled or flushed the transmission. I appreciate their honesty on the mistake and fix it. Otherwise, everything was excellent and I would give a five star if not because of this.

The guy in there is the most personable and honest guy to work on all my cars. He even showed me how my new car worked, how the new oil system works, etc. Sure we have open conversations, but who cares? It's not like you're going to see him till months afterward. It's nice going somewhere and the staff remembers you and asks questions about your life. My mom, aunts, sister all know he's harmless and know if something is wrong with their car, this establishment and management will be upfront. I appreciate the business here and will continue to come back. The car wash has some of the best detailers. They know exactly how to make my car look brand new. I cannot complain about their services, and although it's an additional tip, It's worth the price. If you see something they missed (rare), they will make sure it's cleaned and taken care of.
