And even though I already had a bunch of carbs with the kushery, I got the Egyptian bread pudding ($8), which was very different from the bread pudding I typically see at restaurants around here. It consisted of toasted croissant pieces that were soaked in a creamy sweet milk; the dessert also came with a bunch of nuts, raisins, and whipped cream. It wasn't as rich or sweet as other kinds of bread pudding I've had, but it was still a tasty dessert. The service was a little slow, so I wouldn't suggest dining in here if you need to get a quick meal. But the food was good, and the staff was friendly, so if you have time for a relaxed meal, give the restaurant a try. Note - there were some slight price discrepancies between the menu and final receipt for my drink and dessert, but I know prices are really volatile in these crazy times, and the price discrepancies were small.
