He looked over my panel and my homes electrical needs and he wondered why my insurance company would require this change. He didn't see a need for the upgrade under my current circumstances. After his visit, I contacted my insurance company and found they were misinformed about the type of panel I had and once this info was corrected....I no longer had to do an upgrade. Although I ended up not doing business with Pete's company, I am thankful for how he handled this. I never felt any pressure from him to do this job. Amazing!!!! He estimated the job would take a day and a half to complete. On the first day, we were told the technicians would arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, and they showed up a few minutes early. Daniel and four additional team members came to complete the work. I wasn't expecting that many people, but everyone stayed focused on their tasks and completed the work by 5 PM. Having a larger crew made the job go much faster. The second day of work took place a couple of days later due to other projects we had scheduled, but Armes Electric was very accommodating and flexible with our timeline. Andres and another technician returned to finalize the outlets and install the lighting. Eric was recommended by the dealer where I purchased the vehicle. We spoke by phone, and he had me…read moresend him pictures of the electrical panel. His initial assessment was that no panel upgrade would be necessary, but he would need to inspect the panel to be sure. We scheduled a day for him to come by to check the panel and the placement of the charger. With some slight changes to the panel, he could make room for the required breaker. Originally, I thought the charger would need to be installed on the outside of the house, but Eric assessed inside the garage and identified the perfect location for the charger. His estimate was lower than I expected based on my research. We agreed on the price. He came by at the end of his day, so he was willing to do the electrical work while he was there. Eric has chargers with him to sell, but I was looking for a charger with an app, which he did not have. I asked Eric if there was a charger he recommended, and fortunately, it was the same one I had decided on. I ordered the charger, and it arrived a couple of days later. As Eric promised, he stopped by the following day and installed the charger. I'm very happy with the install. Eric is very knowledgeable, prompt, professional, and reasonably priced.
