Have to admit, it's been a while since I hit a laundromat, but our cats did....something....to a comforter too big to fit in our washing machine. I ended up going to Clean People as they're close to a favorite lunch spot and I almost never have change, so I liked the fact that it was card-based. I honestly barely knew what I was doing, but the staff were super helpful, everything worked great, and after about an hour or so I was out of there with a cleaned and dried comforter. It was a nice relaxing time reading a book and waiting for everything to be done, parking was easy, if you're looking for a laundromat, it's a hell of a lot better than the ones I remember when I was younger. read more

I came in to launder my clothes and my daughters and the male Hispanic at the front was very confrontational, rude and intimidating.. not only did I pay almost $300 for this service , but I would of kept coming back for future services, however this man by the name of marcos left me with no desire to come back. Machines are old to be honest. But they do the job. Staff is nice until something goes wrong and I got blamed for their machine leaking. There was lots of water on floor near my machine that I pointed out to her so no one gets hurt. She said "You probably got your laundry stock in the door!" Fairly sure I shove my laundry in properly 1 by 1 item. But ok can happen except when I pointed out that the rubber gasket on the door was ripped and she said "I don't know, never happened before." I haven't been here for years, since before COVID, but I recently found my laundry card from here in my wallet! This laundromat isn't fancy, but the machines are in good condition, it's kept clean, and the workers are always really nice. Their bathroom has a perpetual out of order sign, but it works fine! My only gripe is that sometimes most of the dryers are taken up by their fluff and fold service, so if you're there doing laundry yourself, it could be slim pickings. One of the best things about here is that it's a coinless laundry facility, so you don't need to deal with the coin exchange machines. I also have a suspicion that it deters homeless people from using this laundromat because the card itself costs money and is just less convenient for them. Though I don't have a problem with "people experiencing homelessness" (as Mayor Garcetti would put it), sometimes it can make an establishment less pleasant. I mentally made the comparison to Sparkling Coin Laundry on Pico when I typed the last sentence. My last improvement for this place would be a later closing time. I think they close at 10, instead of 11 like some other nearby laundromats. read more

I know 'clean' is in the name but this is probably the cleanest laundry mat I've been to in recent memory. Also, the staff was very friendly and proactively helped me figure out their card system. Make sure you carry cash or else you're only other option is to withdraw from a random ATM. There are no other payment options. The laundromat itself is clean but the payment options is limited to cash only. You have purchase a "value card" for $2 and then it's $5 a load. You cannot purchase a value card with a credit/debit card. Their ATM machine is also down. read more

I had a completely different experience having my laundry done here than doing it myself. They are fantastic. Fold everything so nice and offer natural soap. Their prices are the best and they are always available to take your order and assist you with pick-up. I love this place for laundry service. There was nothing wrong with the laundry, mat itself, but the, what I believe were the owners, were rude, and quite honestly made me feel uncomfortable. The moment I walked in the gentleman who I believe is one of the owners of the laundromat, stared at me as if he was trying to intimidate me when I was putting in my clothes in the laundry machine. Even comes up to me asks "can I help you?" as if I was there for any other reason than to just do my laundry. I leave the laundry mat and come back to put my clothes in the dryer and, to be fair, pulled the door a little earlier than it was ready, but the lady who I believe is the wife of the other owner says in a rude tone "it's not ready yet." To cap it all off, and probably the weirdest instance of it all, as I'm in my car driving away from the laundromat I look in and the owner is standing at the door, staring at me as I dry by. It's coin free, and when I first got here, I had to get a money card from the very back and insert some cash. Stopped going to this laundromat for sometime, Im usually the first customer waiting til it opens, but i notice that your allowing other people into do their wash before 5:30AM. These people you let in early did not work for fluff and fold. So I'm here waiting for an available washer @6AM. Another issue the large washer I was using just completed it cycle so I placed my comforter in a cart wheeling toward a larger dryer and one of the staff ran ahead of me throwing in a small face towel into the dryer and started the machine. Well, came here because of electrical work being done at the house, I was unable to use my washer & dryer. I picked this place because it's Coinless. But didn't realize once here, you have to buy a $2 card which you need to fill. They don't except credit cards only cash. I guess I was expecting the machines to except cards not coins. Half of the dryers are out-of-order and so are many of the washers. The washers are $4.50 each which surprised me since I haven't used pay washers in a while. The good part is, it's next to a liquor store so if you have a drinking problem and dirty clothes, it's a match made in heaven read more

The machines and facilities feel clean and new - it's actually interesting how many laundromats feel dirty...isn't it the point of a laundromat to be clean? The best part about the laundromat is the people who work there - well, most of them. My favorite is a younger guy (haven't been by in a little while so I'm not sure if he still works there). He's so friendly and helpful and polite, it always makes my night. The employees are always happy to explain how to pay or use the machines. I've never used the laundry service but one time there was some tar in one of the dryers, ruining lots of our clothes, and the management (after a little prodding) agreed to have our stuff professionally cleaned. It didn't get everything out, but I really appreciated Clean People's attention to good service. I always say I'll know I've made it when I finally have my own in-house washer and dryer. This is easily one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'd like a fully automated life and laundry is definitely something I do not enjoy doing myself. I've been using Popwash since they were called Clean People Laundry (I think they just rebranded) -- but I'm a big fan either way. Easy drop off laundry service. I appreciate having someone else do my laundry, especially when I am on vacation. I was able to select my detergent (Ecos) and my clothes were ready in less than 24 hours after drop off. I did not utilize the pick up service, but this laundry is conveniently located close to the Whole Foods 365 Market so I didn't mind making the trip over. My clothes were cleaned well, I did have one white item that looked like it had been washed with dark clothes, but it was just an old pair of yoga pants so nothing to cry over. I paid the $15 min for three days worth of laundry, all different colors. I think this is a great deal to not have to be bothered with laundry. read more

After I called to ask about the closing time, they told me last wash was at 9pm and didn't specify the actual closing time. I walked in at 8:55 and was attempting to put money on the card at 8:57 when the guy told me gruffly that it was too late since they close at 10. He reluctantly agreed to follow the 9pm deadline but warned me that I might have to leave with wet clothes. I deployed high-speed laundry strategy - opting for the 23 minute "quick wash" and splitting a relatively small amount of clothes into four dryers. After the wash began the guy asked whether I had actually started it. Then he looked over at the dryers to check the times several times. I beat the deadline, exiting at 9:57 with clothes that were more dry than not, so I guess the dryers deserve credit if not the customer service. read more

I saw listed online somewhere a review that said this place charged under a dollar a pound for fluff and fold so we dropped our laundry off there when we weren't feeling well enough to stay and do it ourselves. They promised 24 hour turn around. The next day my husband went to pick up and it had not been touched. The bag was exactly where he'd left it. They promised 5pm the next day. My husband waited until 7:30 to be safe. They were putting the last few things in the bag as he walked in. They told him he was lucky they had just finished. Oh, you mean we are lucky you are finished 28 hours late? What a joke. Then we learnt that they charge a dollar fucking fifty. That's the highest rate I've even seen! I could get better service for .50c less elsewhere. My own fault for not double checking price beforehand. But not worth that price at all. Will never use them again. read more

Local Laudromat in Santa Monica that ALWAYS has friendly pople working there. I try to go earlier in the day to avoid the crowds, but have never had an issue finding machines when needed. They use a large portion of machines for contracted work but it doesn't affect regular customers too much. Easy to use cards make coins a non issue and they have large load machines that cut times in half. Plenty of food options nearby in the strip mall for passing the time. I like to load up and then walk the neighborhood while I wait. All in all, very pleased with service here. Parking lot is a little tight, but nothing to complain about. read more

Doing 5 loads of laundry on Thursday, May 31, 2012, 8 PM. Forgot to include a sheet in one of $4.00 machine white loads. Realized it 30 seconds after I started the machine and the door locks. Contacted Clerk Jose immediately, and he refused to stop and reset the machine so that I could just throw the sheet in. He said that he would stop it if I paid another $4.00. I told him that I just started the machine a minute ago--I was not asking for a free wash! He did not care--walked away. He had the power to stop the machine and let me put the sheet in, but did nothing. I had to pay $2.75 to wash the white sheet alone in one of the smaller machines. I've been using PopWash (aka Clean People Laundry) for 3-4 years now (maybe more), and I must say that the new interface that they've been using for the past few months "PopWash" is amazing. This isn't just some big company like Washo or Rinse, it's a small business that has always exceeded my expectations. The people that work there, from the pickup and delivery guys to the staff doing the laundry, are really cool and honest. I'm terrible about leaving money in my pockets and every time, there is a little envelope stapled to my laundry bags with the money. They also actually check your pockets before putting the laundry in, which has saved several checks sent to me by my clients that I forget to deposit. Long story short, these guys are great. I came in here (after fighting someone for parking) wondering what all the tags on the machines were for. This is a fluff and fold coinless laundromat. The employees here use ALL the machines for their fluff and fold business and leave all the customers here waiting for an empty machine. They don't even help you find an empty machine. Didn't think I'd be fighting for a washer too! I only came here because my son goes to school around the corner and figured I'd get some laundry done since I was already in the area. $6 for a small load since you have to buy a $2 card (metro doesn't even charge $2!). I've done 3 big loads for $6.50 elsewhere. Needless to say I won't be using this place again. They should really just close it to the public and strictly be a fluff and fold read more
