I love Naki. Whenever I've used them, they have followed all instructions I gave online, including times I wasn't home and had to leave the laundry outside my door for them. The fact you can know the price based on the size of the bag is fantastic. Last time I used them, I weighed their large bag and it came out to 20 pounds and I knew it would cost $30, because that's how much their large bag costs. At another fluff and fold I use, the price is $1.50 a pound, making it the same exact price as Naki. But with Naki they picked it up and dropped it off. I also want to make a special mention that Naki was there for me during Covid19. They followed proper distancing rules, they were on time, they were friendly and considerate. The other reviewers may be correct about the quality of the service overall. However, if there's anything in your order that requires human intervention beyond an automated system, I would suggest staying away. Poor communication with the point of contact (a hotel where I stayed) for drop-off, as well as unresponsiveness to me, resulted in items necessary for surgical recovery being stranded on the other side of the country for over a week. Self-righteous unwillingness to admit error upon having this pointed out resulted in a tirade about how much of a favor this guy felt he was performing by simply getting things where they needed to be after the poor communication mentioned above left things in the wrong place. Apparently he was so blinded by said self-righteousness that he was unable to distinguish between the point of contact (again, a hotel with which he deals regularly), and myself, when all of this was pointed out. All I received was hostility and abuse directed at "you guys" - entirely inappropriate as well as inaccurate. In terms of value for money, I can't speak to the quality as I have yet to receive my items. In sum, use this service if you're okay with not interacting with a human. Inconsistent service at best. The website doesn't work well and I've still had people show up to pick up laundry hours after I received confirmation that my order had been cancelled. Worse, they're difficult to get ahold of and I've been trying to get laundry back from them for over two days. I left very simple instructions - to have the laundry placed over the fence, which they said they would do (even offering to place an plastic bag over if in the off chance that it rained, which it didn't). Somehow, our laundry has yet to arrive and the support team is unhelpful and will not provide an updated ETA or reason why our laundry never made it. Additionally, their pricing is inconsistent and their customer service is completely lacking. I send out two large bags every two weeks and am usually charged around $70 (sometimes they'll add in an overfill charge if it's a little heavy - totally reasonable). HOWEVER, I received my receipt today for two large bags and they charged me for THREE LARGE BAGS AND ONE MEDIUM which was over $100... I thought it must be a mistake and reached out but they told me it was correct since my bags were heavy. I'm extremely confused since this is the same amount I always send in but they decided to charge double this time and not seem to care? They picked up and dropped off same day to my hotel front desk. They called when they had questions about my directions for dryer and no-dryer clothes. And, they will email you back quickly and take your calls! And, they were able to dry my clothes without ruining or shrinking them! So I'm too scared to use the laundry room at my complex because I'm not sure how good the ventilation is and who knows if someone before me was in there not feeling well and coughing up a storm. I picked it because it got some good reviews and most of all, it has an app. Love not having to make a phone call or write an email to arrange pick up and delivery if possible! LOL LOL LOL. I was pleased with the service. They were running about 30 min late, but they did text me right when they were supposed to pick up my items. They brought it back the next day and I asked them to put my delicates next time at the top of the bag instead of having it crushed at the very bottom and in the middle of the bag. One of my garments was a bit crushed, but they picked it up and miraculously fixed it somehow. They should start a business in that part alone! I would definitely use them again! Fairly flakey service. Doesn't show up when scheduled, and website for tracking things has not been updated in over a year, in spite of promises to improve the tracking. Customer service reps on chat will say that drivers are just around the corner, but hours later they may not show up. Have tried 8 orders over the past year. Half of them had really bad / late pickups, and 3 of them the drivers "got lost". Plus instructions were ignored in the laundry at least once. Drop your laundry off with a fluff n fold, or find a better pickup / dropoff service than this one. You can see on the tag where the weight was inflated. When I reached out to Customer Service (Natalie) to complain I was given excuses and asked to provide a photograph of the torn bedsheet. The email was ignored until I followed up again. Natalie played innocent about not seeing the email until I followed up. She offered a discount and free delivery the next time I used their service. At that point, I did not want to give them another shot. A few weeks later, I decided to give Naki Laundry another try. Afterall, everyone deserves a second chance. Natalie conveniently forgot to apply the discounts on my account. This time some items were returned wet and again  many items were not folded. Stupidly, I gave Naki Laundry a third try. All items fit in one (1) Naki Laundry bag. I was able to pull the drawstring and close the clamp. Yet they claimed bag was overflowing and charged me an extra $15. The weight once again was inflated. The white items that left my house white were returned gray. And again many items were not folded. Recently, I tried one (1) of their competitors. I gave them more laundry then I had given Naki Laundry, and miraculously the total weight was significantly less. The laundry was returned clean, dry, and folded nicely. It was my first time using a laundry services and honestly i was impressed. I downloaded the app and schedule a pick up and same day drop off. They were here on time for both pick up and delivery. They guy that picked up the clothes was very nice and patient, gps took him to the other side of the hospital but he called me to give him the right direction. The clothes was washed and folded nicely. Look, like everyone else, laundry just isn't my thing. And last year I got a pretty bad injury that actually makes it pretty painful to lug my clothes around, then fold 'em and put 'em where they belong. So I've definitely been in the market for fluff and fold. The one I used previously doesn't service where I live now, but Naki does and I found them on Yelp. First of all, it was so easy to pay and get started. Unlike other fluff n fold places, Naki breaks it down by size of the bag (and you get free bags). Other places do it by weight and I'm always bracing myself for the price after they weigh my stuff. Not with Naki. You know going in how much it's going to cost. Plus, they have a nifty app. My laundry came back wonderful and folded and it was super easy for me to put away. Shai even helped me bring my laundry bags up the stairs, after I told him about my injury. I'll definitely keep using Naki Laundry. read more

I don't often need a laundry service, but when our washer/dryer died.....it took us a few weeks to replace them so I used Naki. Awesome job. They picked up and returned everything as promised, did a great job - followed all my requests, and returned perfectly folded on time. They also didn't use an overly fragrant detergent which I really appreciated. I would use them again when in need....or when feeling too lazy to do my laundry myself. My only mild gripe is that communication through their app is a little wonky and there's no phone number to reach someone directly, but behind the scenes they are on it, so all good in the end. read more

Update as at 14 July - Co-founder of Naki got in touch with me via email extremely and genuinely apologetic for the experience and provided me a full refund. Things do go wrong in business, and it's how a business reacts to these situations that matters - in this case, Naki made good. Having used Naki Laundry service almost 3 years ago when traveling from Australia to Santa Monica and being left extremely pleased, I thought I'd try it again. This time, while my laundry pick up and drop off were on time, the clothes looked dirtier on return than when I sent them - if that's even possible!? I ticked the option for bleach on the Naki app but apparently ( as I learnt when I called to provide feedback) ticking the option does nothing unless you state bleaching in your comments also. Genius app design right there! I stated my dissatisfaction with a Naki representative over phone, though he just defended their washing standards offering no compensation other than they cold pick them up again. Doesn't help when I'm flying out to Hawaii tomorrow. Will be never use this service again - It seems Naki has outgrown the personal touch and service has gone out the window. This is the best laundry service in Southern CA most pick up and delivery services charge by the pound but when you give them your bag you don't know the weight they can tell you whatever and charge you 3 times the actual weight and believe me they all add additional weight! Naki will give you a large bag and you stuff it with as much as it will take with a flat rate, unbelievable you will save money even using the machines in your apt bldg. The mgr Adam when he heard I recently had hip surgery he had his pick up guy Raphael fill that bag for me so I wouldn't need to bend over and Raphael was so kind & pleasant and glad to help me out! Literally couldn't be happier with these peeps. I've tried a couple of other places in LA who have dropped off the wrong laundry, accidentally charged me as an individual for a family of 6, but still manage to charge unbelievably high rates. Naki Laundry has not only has cost less than 1/2 of any service I've used previously (with laundry loads of equal or more size), but they're customer service is just unbelievably patient and responsive. I used Naki for a long time and while it's the best priced laundry service, it's definitely not the best value. Over many years I had multiple pieces of expensive clothing lost, damaged, and not returned on time. Once they took an entire order of dry cleaning and washed/dried it including suits and other items of clothing. The owner never once owned responsibility for the numerous mistakes. He ALWAYS denied doing anything wrong. Having your dry cleaner lose and damage clothing is upsetting. Having him deny it is infuriating. I've used another service for the last 6 months and the small price increase is definitely worth the improvement in service. read more

This guy lost a full bag of our laundry. When I called to tell him, he blamed it on me. "It must be in your house". I called back and few times and insisted so he finally he checked his cameras and sure enough, they had made a mistake. He brought it back and gave me a free load, but damage is done. When your first instinct is to blame it on the customer before even checking properly, you should be in business. It feels like the whole operation is one guy who had his friend build a mobile application so the service is a little erratic. I'm editing my review because this company saw my initial review and followed up and came by my house the next day to pick up the damaged item and they fixed it and brought it back that evening! I have continued to use it since then and have been much more satisfied. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because there still isn't an option to have scented detergent so it doesn't have that clean laundry smell! My one peeve is that if you say "bleach whites," they will not check the tags to see what's ok to be bleached. First time to use this type of fluff and fold service for I was overwhelmed with laundry and working night shift. I say I am 5 star impressed with this business and the transition from picking up laundry and drop of was quite smooth. I got 3 large bags of laundry back neatly folded into thier free laundry bag and comforter and sheets in another in immaculate condition the same day. It felt like magic! I had just moved into an new apartment and didn't want to deal with my accumulated laundry (about 5 loads) on top of everything else that needed to be done. So when I found a yelp deal for 5 star rated Naki laundry in my neighborhood I jumped on it! This is a laundry pick up/delivery service so you set up an account (online) and schedule your pickup times. You give them a bag of laundry and they do the rest - they separate the colors/whites, wash, dry, fold, and return at your desired delivery time. Easy! Shai was really responsive and accommodating with everything from my difficulty setting up the account (I didn't have internet yet since I was in a new apartment) to my ever changing schedule that day (we had to reschedule the delivery to accommodate when I was going to be back from an appointment an hour south on the 405). I got my laundry cleaned and delivered same day as promised. He even carried it up to my apartment on the 2nd floor (no elevator!). One thing to note: everything goes in a dryer. So it's up to you to sort out anything that you don't want to be machine-dried before you give it to them. They also have dry cleaning service - those items should be separated into their "white" bag. I did not use their dry cleaning service. Their website has a section where you can notify them of any allergies (i.e., dyes, perfumes, etc.). Only negative is that I thought the whites could have been "whiter". It didn't seem like they used bleach...but maybe that was something that I should have requested, since my whites were kind of dingy when I gave them to Shai. Having just returned from travel in Asia where they hand wash using all kinds of chemicals, my perspective may be off! My BF and I have been using Naki for over a year, and we don't remember what life was like before. We absolutely love everything about the service. Both of us work long hours and it's really helpful to know that we can leave a bag outside the doorstep before we leave to work and it's delivered back the same evening. The customer service is really amazing, everyone we communicate with is always nice, and very helpful. Whenever I have a question or special request we get a response very quickly. We have them use our detergent, Every couple of months we leave a new bottle in the bag and when it's about to be done they let us know ahead of time so I can make sure to provide them with more. I submitted one order the day I moved, forgot I entered the drop of as the same place as pick up and they make contacting them easy to do so I could let them know I made the mistake. I was in my new place with the freshest laundry a guy could ask for. They did all my sheets, blankets and comforter cover. Just used Naki (or any fluff and fold) Laundry for the very first time. First of all, I was SO STOKED just by the service. My hampers went away dirty and came back perfectly folded and still warm 24 hours later. I used Naki because they were WAY better priced than Washio and other competitors AND had great reviews on Yelp. I dropped a star because the app didn't update the status of my laundry like it was supposed which is why I started to worry when it was the end of the drop off period and I still didn't have my laundry. But then it came 5 minutes later. So it was just a TINY bit late - just long enough to think about calling. I will definitely be using Naki again. read more

I was skeptical to try Naki Laundry after reading most of the yelp reviews , however my outlook on the business surely changed after giving them a try. Prices were consistent and reasonable. The customer service was by far the most outstanding. One of the workers delivering my laundry was extremely friendly and welcoming. He guided me through the process and was very attentive of my special requests. Laundry was left in the exact place I asked for it to be left and on time for the most part. Unfortunately cannot give Naki a good review. I've used the service for over a year and have had issues with receiving clothes back. A few specific examples: 1. Their dry cleaning service has failed on several occasions to return my clothes and only returned them when I requested. Often this would take several weeks. 2. They misdelivered another customer's wedding tuxedo to our home. We didn't notice this when putting our clothes away before we went out of town. To get the clothes back, we had to call our landlord to let Naki enter our apartment to retrieve the garment so the other customer could use it for his wedding. 3. We recently had another customer's laundry misdelivered to our home. Naki has been unable to locate our clothes. It's been 5 days since scheduled drop off and we still haven't received them back. While inexpensive, Naki fails to deliver on its core promise: convenience. If you are willing to risk your clothes and time, give them a try. If you want to get your clothes back and avoid the drama, just use Rinse. read more
