Call Kiel if you need your windshield replaced. One of the best customer experiences I've had in a long time. He never missed a beat in returning my questions. Very professional, resourceful, accommodating, helpful, and cares about the customer and quality. Since I have a head-on collision detection system on my car, Kiel immediately called the dealership for me and found out that an OEM part is required if I wanted to perform re-calibration after the installment. He was very open about the cost increase. On the day of the installment, he noticed a slight difference between the windshields of my car and the one he received from the dealership. He suggested that we hold-off on the service until he confirms with the dealership about the windshield. Kiel contacts me within an hour and told me that the dealership had given him the wrong windshield. I was very thankful that he called out his concerns and took action right away. He communicated with me multiple times to set up the appointment, provided a quote quickly over the phone and honored it without a hint of trying to charge more. He was very thorough with the install and when something was wrong with my window regulator was able to educate me on what I would need to do to fix it myself, indicating he was willing to help if I needed it! This was the best glass experience I've had. I purchased a car with a windshield that Kiel had installed a few weeks prior to me purchasing it. My car got broken into the other day by breaking one of my windows and it was a very stressful situation. My car is a little bit older and I didn't feel like spending a lot of money for a new passenger window. I came across Clear Image Auto Glass on yelp and decided to get a quote. Kiel responded to my email almost immediately and gave me a call shortly after. At around 4:40 (they close at 5), I decided to book an appointment with him and he was able to order the new window before they closed and we set up an appointment for the next day. He came to my work an hour early, letting me know at least 30 minutes in advance his ETA. He was extremely friendly and he really knows how to treat his customers. I needed a full front windshield replacement as a result of a crack that eventually crawled across the entire windshield. I checked with several auto glass repair places with high Yelp and Google ratings and was surprised at the lack of immediate response to my quote requests (i.e. I'd request an online quote 1 day and would either never hear back or would receive a response back 1 or more days later). In addition, the places that did eventually get back to me with quotes seemed very high for the type of vehicle and basic windshield that I had? Unfortunately my insurance policy doesn't cover windshield replacement and as a result I had to pay out of pocket and so a reasonable cost was my biggest priority. After having checked with several auto glass places all of which provided what I felt were non-competitive quotes, I finally checked on Craigslist and found an add for Clear Image Auto Glass. In the add the owner provides his phone number to call or text for a quote. I texted for a quote and within minutes received a reply back asking for some additional info. as my vehicle had 2 different types of windshields. After I provided him with that info. I received a text immediately back with an accurately quoted price that was substantially lower than any of the other places that I contacted, even one place that advertises $149 windshield replacements, but then they fail to tell you up front that you also have to pay for molding which is an additional $20. After accepting Kiel, from Clear Image Auto Glass's quote and coordinating a time for Kiel to come out and replace my windshield (Kiel was able to come early the following morning, but my schedule wouldn't allow so we coordinated a day/time for later in the week, but he provided very reasonable and flexible times of availability), Kiel came out to my residence not only on time, but early and immediately began working on my windshield. Kiel knew exactly how my windshield had cracked and gave me great advice on how to maintain and the do's and don't after having a new windshield installed. I wasn't surprised when Kiel told me that he has been in the business for over 25 years as this guy not only knew his stuff, but he was willing to back it with a 120 day warranty although given this guy's expertise, I'd be hard pressed to believe that anyone has every had to use their warranty? If I could give this company 10 stars I would as the type of service, professionalism and expertise that Kiel provided well exceeded my expectations. read more
