This review is long overdue! We bought our house in December and couldn't move in until February. In the interim, we decided to take care of things we knew needed to be addressed,. First and foremost was the water - all the fixtures in the house had scale on them, and the icemaker for the fridge had some kind of sludge in it. I read reviews on Yelp, and the ones for Clear Water Technologies stood out. When we met Jason, I knew why. He's very knowledgeable and you can tell he really likes his work. He went over all the options with us, and provided an excellent plumber to put in the the piping needed. When it came to pricing, he did everything he could to make it fair and reasonable. In fact, the price for this unit was less than the one we had in our old house, that we had purchased 25 years ago! He also mentioned that the units were made made in the USA. All of this would make me recommend Jason and Clear Water Technologies, but it is the interactions I've had afterwards that make me wish I could give more than 5 stars. After we moved in, it felt like the water was not as soft, so I emailed Jason on a weekend night, figuring he'd get back to me that Monday. He called me an hour later, and made an appointment for Monday. He came over and tested the water, and it was in fact harder than it should be. He was puzzled, but said he'd make it right. He suggested we refresh the unit a couple of times and see if that would help, and came back a few days later to test it. In between that time, it was obvious that he was still thinking about it, because he called me and suggested that maybe there was still "stuff" in the hot water heater that was kicking loose, and he wished he had tested the hot and cold separately. When he came to retest, It had improved, though not perfect, it was acceptable. However, the thing about the hot water heater makes a lot of sense, having seen the fixtures that were in the house before, and we will probably replace it. While Jason was testing, I mentioned that I had gotten an estimate to put in a recirculating pump on our hot water heater since it takes about 4 minutes to get hot in the master bath. He asked about the cost, I told him, and he said he thought it was high. He immediately got on the phone with his plumber and requested an estimate. He was right, and I'll be calling to schedule his plumber to put in the pump and probably a new water heater while he's there. I mention this because Jason goes over and above to make sure his people are taken care of for their water needs. I highly recommend Jason and Clear Water Technologies. read more

Jason, the owner, used to work for another company when we had our water softener and RO system installed. Whenever I had a concern, he was always there for us and even came out to test the water. I recently contacted the other company for a filter and membrane change, the response was that they have no filters, and that the ones they had in stock were already spoken for for other customers, and that they'd call when the new shipment arrives, which was a couple of weeks out. Finally I got a response from them, but in the meantime I already had Jason come out with what I needed. He had no problem with the filters being in stock.
