I stopped by here for a Yelp Elite week perk but also to get another bagel on the side so I will be purely reviewing for that latter purchasing experience and also for the deliciousness of everything I got! I got a garlic bagel with nox and a sundried tomato bagel with an iced coffee. The garlic bagel was, dare I say, beautiful - it's not everyday you see a bagel with perfectly and evenly distributed bits of garlic. And the nox was tasty without being overpowering. I also really liked the iced coffee, which was smooth and just sweet enough. Also, kudos to the owner, who I witnessed enforce the no mask no service policy. You can find Clearwater Bagel with the signage "Bagel" in the middle of a shopping plaza - I'm definitely going to come back here when my breakfast bagel urges get the best of me. read more

The Strawberry creme cheese does not overpower the blueberries and has the right consistency to balance out all the flavors. Been a customer for over 10+ years, from the original owners to now the "new" owners... Every time I'm nearby, I try to stop by to grab a few bagels if they are still open, since they close at 1 pm. Their bagels are still the best in the area, fresh, fluffy, soft, great texture, and flavorful. If we have smoked salmon at home, it's an even better addition to their bagels. When we were still working in the office, prior to COVID, my coworkers would often purchase a dozen bagels for the office. Love their bagels! read more

One bagel with cream cheese thought it was pricey $5.15 I wanted to buy 12 bagels to take home and the owner wouldn't sell them alone I had to buy at 5.15 each because I have to buy 6 bagels with 6 cream cheese. Doesn't make any sense other than they are trying to make more money selling them individually like that. Wonderful service! They really go above and beyond to make sure you know all the bagel options and types of cream cheese flavors! Safety protocol is in place and they have outdoor seating that is physically distanced. Coffee is great! Too sweet for my taste so next time I will definitely request it to be lightly sweetened. There are still places that make it better but it was solid Also love the social distancing measures they're taking to keep the place safe. The best bagel spot I've tried in the area. The owners are so nice and friendly. The bagels are delicious. Not too soft like some other places I won't mention. It's a very cute corner store that is usually busy (which says a lot), because it's really good. My go to is the cucumber avocado with lemons pepper and capers. The club bagel sandwich is good. I've always passed this place for years, but never caught it open until recently. Both times were around 7-9AM. There was only one gentleman handling the cashier, taking the orders, and preparing the bagels, but he's super efficient and kind. Although the staff was super nice and service was fast (only waited around 5-10 minutes), the lox bagel was not up to my expectations! I thought that it was wayyy too salty, and although I love cream cheese, they slathered so much onto the bagel that it tasted very off. At first, I thought the capers is what made it too salty, so I removed them, but it was still really salty. Genuinely the best bagel spot I've ever tried! Everything is made fresh that morning and they also have homemade cream cheeses which are my absolute favorite. They close over winter break (same time schools are out) and I will be ordering a plethora of their jalapeno cream cheese to keep me sane through winter. They also have a huge variety of bagels so there really is something for everyone! One thing to add, if you want to purchase loose bagels, especially in high quantities, you MUST call at least 24 hours ahead of time (which I am unsure why people complain about when it makes perfect sense). If they make everything fresh that morning and some bozo comes in taking a 6 of one type of bagel, other people don't get to enjoy that bagel! I saw another review say "Why don't they make more of their popular bagels" but they do! That doesn't mean they have enough for someone to take home that many when they make what they expect to sell. If they made too much, it'd be a waste. It's common sense. They're a small business so definitely be patient with their time, especially in the morning when they're really busy. However, the two people I always see working there (one man & one woman) are so sweet and you can tell they're working hard. Once they have your order, they get it out surprisingly quick and always greet you with a smile. It's definitely good to note that there's no inside seating, only outside due to Covid regulations. YUM. I was not disappointed with my garden bagel sandwich + egg whites (inspired by the Yelper who posted it on here first- thanks)! The only thing that could've made it better was if they added red onions but apparently there's a salmonella breakout with red onions soooo I can do without for now lol. I did read comments about their service but the woman who was behind the register was kind to me but also, I just ordered my food and walked out lol. I used to come here often to get bagels first thing in the morning. Every once in a while, I'll grab a few more to share with my friends. This place has ok/decent bagels, but the lady at the counter has terrible customer service and a horrible attitude. I've always left this bagel store feeling conflicted because of how rudely I'm treated. I started going to Panera instead so that I don't have to deal with her. My friends, who really liked the bagels here from when I brought it for them, came here on their own, skeptical of my story and hoping that it's just my experience. I love love love LOVE this bagel shop. I have been coming here for over 2 years now and I can't find any other bagel place like this. I pretty much live and breathe Clearwater bagels. The service though is really what has me coming back (besides the fact that the bagels are so good.) It's basically a mom and pop bagel shop and the owners are husband and wife and are the nicest people I have ever met. They even remembered my order (which is super specific) after like the 2nd time ordering it. I can come MONTHS later and they still remember my order, that's amazing! Please keep in mind though that they are short staffed and it's usually just them; however they work so hard to make sure you don't notice. They are also always super apologetic if service takes too long and keep you updated with wait times. I'm not sure why the bad reviews state they're not apologetic, when that's all I've ever experienced! I highly recommend this place, 10/10! She also no longer wants to be a patron to your business. Correct me if i'm wrong- but isn't the whole point of a business is to sell your product? If you sell out, you sell out. Why ration out your supply just in case some customers might come later? Close up shop when you sell out. Make more bagels if you're afraid of running out. Sell day old bagels for a discounted price.
