I've been going to this place since I was four. There have been a bunch of different owners but the recipe is always the same. Some bagels change but overall is the same. Currently there is an Asian couple that own it. The man is pretty quiet but super nice. His wife is a sweet heart. She'll put a smile on your face in the morning. The bagels are delicious. The cream cheese is the best I've ever had. I usually get the breakfast sandwich. Man those things can keep me full for half a day. This place is without a doubt the best bagel place in the world. I would slap someone if they told me otherwise. I would come here everyday if I didn't care about how many carbs I ate lol. The owner is this super nice asian guy, and has genuine service. The bagels are baked fresh daily, and de-lish. Usually i'll go for the Asiago, toasted with either lowfat or strawberry cream cheese For a hearty breakfast, i go for the breakfast combo, with eggs, cheese, sausage on a sundried tomato or everything bagel (mmmm, my mouth waters just to think about it) The atmosphere is whatevs, but I give this place a solid 4 stars, if not 5. it's my go-to breakfast place whenever i come home to visit. It's never crowded, but it sure deserves to be. very underrated. read more

Thankfully not a horrible mistake. We lived with it. They do have lots of choices in bagels and a few cream cheese choices. They have a very small eating area if you want to dine in. I went to this place after a quick cardio in the morning. The service of this place is slow, there is only ‼ONE worker‼who look stress and in hurry. Looking for a hot bread with a cup of hot coffee. None of the restaurants were open( there were about 5 chinese tea coffee house in same mall) and even the bakery was closed. Clearwater bagel were open at 7 am ( while Peet's coffee, which was the closest coffee place to Cal Poly, open at 7:30am) The girl who was working there was nice and helpful everytime I went there. People are being so critical about this joint based on things like service and decor. Who cares! It's a local bagel joint, not Mario Batali's newest restaurant venture. Please note, my review is based solely on the food. Bagels here are fluffy and fresh. Their sandwiches are good, their breakfast bagels are good, and their cream cheeses are good. My personal favorite is the spinach parmesan bagel with low fat garden veggie cream cheese. Service varies depending on who is helping you, but it doesn't really bother me, because the food is always good. My girlfriend and I come here from El Monte whenever we have a day off together. The customer service is amazing. They're so welcoming and fast with their service. We get the chunky chicken, pacific, and club sandwiches. We've been getting them on the jalapeño and cheese bagels, but yesterday I decided to switch it up and got the sun dried tomato bagel. One star is because the parking was easy to access but Umm maybe I should've just made it at home. I Ordered a coffee and then when I went to fill up my cup in the push containers they have it was empty and the lady said the French roast and vanilla are just the same ended up waiting 10-15 min for a fresh cup of regular coffee. It was around 11:30 am and I'm sure they had a rush in the morning but overall was very disappointed. I had a open faced jalapeño bagel with cream cheese lemon pepper and avocado. Wow, it's been a while since I wrote a Yelp review (ya know, life & school.) So excuse me, I'm a bit rusty. I've been to this place a good 5-6 times already within the past weeks. I definitely love this place! I discovered this place after a long shopping trip at stater bros. I didn't feel like getting fast food, and this placed popped up. Clearwater is a mom & pop bagel shop. They don't have an extensive menu, but it's still a good size. The couple who runs this place are really sweet, I don't know why some people think they're rude, as I've never got that impression from them. The only bagel sandwich I've ordered is the pacific bagel. I usually get it on either sesame, jalapeño, or the cheese bagel (this one runs out the fastest.) I absolutely love the pacific bagel. It's not heavy, and with the toppings, the sandwich is huge! Especially with the sprouts, avocado, tomato, etc. They also give a lot of tuna which is nice! The bagels are always soft & yummy. They never feel stale or too hard. I haven't tried anything else, but I highly recommend the pacific bagel. I love going to mom & pop places. I would recommend coming here if you love bagel sandwiches & need a break from fast food. read more

Small place with great taste. They have awesome bagels when they have them in stock. Blueberry with strawberry cream cheese, garlic with jalapeño cream cheese, jalapeño with plain cream cheese, and honey oat raisin with walnut raisin cream cheese are my favs. They have way more flavors than that though, and awesome breakfast bagels/bagel sandwiches. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars because their customer service is hands down immeasurable. My brother and I always wanted to try this little bagel shop but to our surprise, the shop opens at 7:30 not 7 am. Fortunately, the owner was inside setting up; keep in mind its 7 am, the lights are off, and the bagels aren't even displayed in the front. This guy decided to go out of his way to take our order. We ordered the lox bagel and it was delicious! To the owner of this establishment, expect two returning customers at 7:30.
