However, one self-care routine that I'm not as consistent with is getting facials. Since it is the most costly out of the routines that I listed above, I often find reasons to skip it and shamefully spend the money on things like clothing or shoes. Therefore, I was very thankful when my wife shared that she found a reputable & cost effective esthetician in close proximity to our home. After seeing my wife's skin the days following her appointment, I immediately preceded to fill out Lindy's online client intake form. Generally, Lindy is booked solid; however, I was fortunate to absorb an appointment that was cancelled by a client. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Lindy shortly after stepping out of my vehicle. Lindy led me into her quiet and clean skin studio, in which she proceeded to inquire about any concerns that I have pertaining to my skin. I shared with Lindy that I suffered from cystic acne in my teens and early 20's; therefore, I was looking for a treatment to remove some acne scars. She suggested that I have a special treatment that would gradually remove the scarring, which led to me scheduling a future appointment to begin the treatment. As Lindy began the process, we engaged in casual conversation that took my mind away from the slight discomfort of the facial (I have a low pain tolerance when it comes to face treatments). In between conversation, Lindy did a great job of checking in to make sure that I was ok. Following the treatment, I was amazed at the appearance of my skin. It seemed like my skin looked more rejuvenated as the days passed, and the Lyra cleanser that I purchased from Lindy complimented my sensitive skin. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment and highly recommend that you quickly book an appointment before all slots have been filled!

I had great success with dermatologists but then my insurance changes or money becomes an issue. If you've been to a dermatologist they always prescribe the usual: birth control, tretinoin, and spironolactone and I was tired of relying on medication. Never took Accutane, but I have tried other known brands to help with acne. I recommend this clinic to anyone tired of buying too many products and can't seem to find a consistent regimen! Prior to going to Clear Day Acne Clinic I did go to another medical spa for about 8 months. My acne was not improving at all. It seemed like it was getting worse or just not going anywhere at all. My esthetician at Clear Day is Alyx. She is great!!! . My skin has never looked better in the past couple of months. I am able to eat foods that would cause my acne flare ups with minimal breakouts. Do trust the process and clearing up acne especially acne scars is a process. Their main goal is to make sure your acne is at a good spot where you graduate from their clinic. I guess my advancing age and number of dermal injections have become a matter of recommending and deciding on the number of syringefuls that are necessary to fill in lines that just seem to increase as time moves forward. Maybe I was in denial, because my past spa visits elsewhere didn't require as much filler as I seem to require now. Putting my denials and discouragement aside, I broke down and agreed to try another brand of dermal filler called Radiesse. It is a little thicker and with time and consistency, it promises to stimulate your body's own collagen production! I have high hopes that it will at least give me better results. The spa owner gave me a 20% discount on my second visit. Beauty isn't cheap, but I highly recommend the Beauty Chateau for anyone looking to improve their appearance and maybe take a few years off at the same time! Unfortunately, I'm back to write an update on this review with poor results. The Radiesse I had encouraging hope for did not last. In fact, it was fading away after about a month. I'm not sure if the products are not as good as they used to be or my age is the factor. I'm very discouraged that dermal fillers are no longer giving me the extra boost I was once excited about.
