Thankful for such kind/accommodating hosts and subs that were fresh, delicious and gigantic. (When I say gigantic, I mean I ordered a full sub, and when it arrived, I thought I received TWO full subs. Each half measured in at 8-1/2 inches each.) The price... unbelievable. Sorry other sandwich guys, we have a new fav in New Providence. Also noticed wraps, great salads, and more listed on that menu board. Thank you Avenue Deli, for such a pleasant experience. First class.

They use olive oil too, no cheap oils and their website is "nojunkpizza." The business adds real charm to little Berkeley Heights town and the inside is more spacious than others there.

I've often noticed vendors failing to update working hours, and that is frustrating. But what's worse is when I've got Yelp blaming Grubhub and Grubhub blaming everyone. I called and there was never anyone at the store though Grubhub took my money and gave me a pickup time. They agreed to refund me in several days but did absolutely nothing to compensate or remedy the situation and took no responsibility. So I will not be using Grubhub again (and that may mean ordering through Yelp if they only work through Grubhub). I hope Carved cleans up their act with times. Very frustrating when nobody takes responsibility and I don't know whether I can even trust ordering food through Yelp.

I would have given it 5 stars, but it was on the salty side. They told us that they will start serving meals in the future.
