    Baked croissant with shrimp/crab/cheese.

This place is cool! We watched about 5 boats get loaded into the water with a forklift while we ate lunch out on the terrace. My wife and I had what we thought looked like the best thing on the menu, the baked croissant with shrimp and crab. It was delicious! My only note is that their regular fries are pretty bland. Go for the curly. My kids felt taken care of and enjoyed the views.

Such a childhood staple for my family and I. The onion ring tower and fried mushrooms can't be missed! Stop in whether it's summer or winter! My dad is a big fan of the all you can't eat shrimp! I personally go for a shirley temple! The staff is always great and the vibes have been the same for 20+ years! Gotta love it!

A very large menu with lots of seating options and parking. We got a lot of the fried apps which was great for a small dinner! The service was very quick and super friendly.

Rare that I want to return to a restaurant for a specific dish, but we had dined at the original location a year earlier, and the "mess o perch" had stuck in the taste buds of my brain. So I made a plan to visit their 2nd location, and ordered the same dish. We sat on the patio, which overlooks a marina, service was pokey, and the food coming out even pokier. Had "Six inches" of onion rings to start, and they were great. 45-60 minutes later our dinners arrived, and the fish was as I remembered, top notch. Our server was friendly but rather inattentive. We arrived right at six pm and they told us it was a 45 minute wait, but it was only 20. They text your phone when your table is ready. Would I go back? Sure. But not at peak hours. PS (couldn't post pic of perch, file was too big).

Went with a group of 6 around 6:30 Thursday night and got right in. We were celebrating a birthday. We sat right by a window so it's nice to look out over the river. Too bad it wasn't a sunny day. They do have a patio, which would be great on a warm day. The nachos are large enough to share for the whole table. The steak was cooked perfectly. I always have to ask that they don't overcook the chicken for the red rooster and they obliged. The pasta was cooked perfectly as always. Our waiter was very attentive and Had a great personality.

Driving back to IL from Grand Rapids, MI I stopped at Clementine's Too for a quick bite of something light. I had French Onion Soup, Fried Mushrooms and Strawberry Patch salad (chicken removed & apples added per request). All were delicious from Clementine's Too! The salad was so big I had enough for lunch the next day. My husband and I shared the mushrooms and they too were enough to enjoy for another day. #frenchonionsoup #friedmushrooms #mushrooms #salad #strawberries

We started with onion rings and mushrooms and a flight of craft beers. I had a a potato encrusted walleye with a side of French onion soup. My wife had the walleye and curly fries. My son had the drunken shrimp all was fantastic. My wife had the key lime martini. Matt our waiter was very attentive. We sat out on the patio and even with a lite rain we were dry. What a great meal.

Do you know those places that you have good memories of a nice dinner, fun atmosphere and good service... and you go back years later and are disappointed? This is one of those. We used to take our kids here for a fun trip to St. Joe followed by dinner at Clementines. Today's experience was lacking all of it. Everything was just average.

This restaurant does not honor reservations/wait list and the service was unacceptably slow. It's a shame because the food is decent.

Or, I did. This person must really need 50 cents badly to actually ignore a customer and to refuse a refund. Your business will not last if you do not have the management skills to back up cooking skills. And this is a small area. When a customer asks you why you charged them something, they are not just asking. It is theft. I expect an answer when I ask that question. My receipt clearly shows a custom charge of 50 cents, for a side of sauce that I did not receive. It was actually supposed to be a dollar because I ordered 2 sides. I sent a message and was told that I was not charged, end of reply. I replied that I was. Instead of sending a refund, they sent me a copy of the current receipt that clearly shows a 50 cent custom charge on it. I am not the blind one here. I messaged again asking what the charge was for, if not for the sauce. No reply. I am also tired of tipping on takeout just to have no one check the orders and for it to go out wrong, no more. What is the tip for? It was 2 items, juice, and some sauce, not hard to get right. Tip in cash only if your order is correct. A normal response would also be to apologize for getting the order wrong to begin with. I have not received another response or a refund so I take it that they feel entitled to take money for items not given. It is not about the amount of money, just the audacity and bad business practices. Shameful behavior. There is nothing special about the menu here so something better will eventually take its place.

While not a…read morevegetarian, she often will choose a vegetarian dish and with how vegetable heavy the menu is, I figured this was the perfect opportunity to come in for the first time. While Happy Poochie has been open for years, their short hours (11am-2:30pm M-F) make it hard to coordinate with my husband with days off. We came in not long after they opened at 11am on Monday, July 27th and stayed about an hour chatting even after we finished our meals. I got the cold hand cuke sandwich with a soda, while my parents split a sandwich (that I didn't hear the name of but had turkey on it), my mom choosing a canned tea and my dad getting a fountain drink lemonade. My mom almost got some chips, but they didn't have the healthier chips that she prefers. This spot was super cozy as well as clean. My dad used the restroom and reported back that it was well maintained. They have a cute porch area to enjoy on nice days like today, but we opted to stay inside. This was all of our first time here and we're very impressed with Happy Poochie Eatery. I very much would recommend finding a way to come out and try a sandwich or salad, though the hours do make that hard for the standard 9-5 worker. Thanks so much Happy Poochie Eatery for the fantastic food and I can't wait to come again!

Kudos to Lily! One of the best! We had the kitchen split an Asian Crunch Salad as a starter. Fresh and crunchy! Hubby got the Burnt Ends Melt on Detroit Sourdough toast with the house made chips. He loved it and said he'd order it again! I had the Olive Burger and had them put it on their toasted sweet potato jalapeño bun. A Michigan staple, we do not have olive burgers in our state. If you've had an olive burger before, and liked it (as I do whenever we go north) you haven't tried ANYTHING yet! THIS BURGER WAS AMAZING! The burger itself high quality beef and perfectly grilled medium as I requested. Fresh leaf lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, sliced olives, and their delicious homemade olive aioli. Mine with waffle fries which were so generous, I had to give 3/4 of them to my husband (who gladly obliged)! Try the pickle bloody mary, if you're so inclined. Yum! Def will return! That said, I'll leave a decent review for Clifford's, but there were some disappointments. Upon entering, we were confronted by a professionally printed sign, along with a verbal warning from the sole attendant at the counter, stating that four out of five of their normal front counter employees hadn't shown up this morning. Translation: "Lower your expectations if you still choose to eat here". The fact that they have a pre-printed sign tells me this happens a lot (?!?!?). I also took note of multiple other signs on display, some handwritten, informing patrons that various menu items were out of stock. In some cases, these menu deletions took the form of a line on the menu being unceremoniously scribbled out with chalk or a marker. Surprisingly, the food and the service ended up being pretty good during our visit. However, I will give "Clifford" some unsolicited advice, if he's listening: Clifford, aside from the jacked-up parking situation, you have a cool thing going on here, and the location is spot-on awesome. But, I think you'd do better by paying more attention to the rough edges. Presentation matters, and it begins the moment your customer walks into the cafe. The vibe that the business was sending that day wasn't particularly inviting.
