Used to come here when in the area, it was always great. We were going to an early Xmas party in the area and called the day before to ask about a pie. Was asked when it was needed, said the next afternoon. Was told they didn't have any today, however tomorrow was fine. Gave our name and number and was told it would be ready. We get there at the time we said and nobody knew anything about it. After some time we were told they could give us a frozen pie. We were on the way to a party, what good is a frozen pie? I have severe reactions to Lactose, which is in dairy products, and gluten, in flour items. The employees in this place went out of their way to make me a whole blueberry pie that accommodated my dietary needs, and it is not often that I am able to have both a cup of coffee and a baked item for breakfast. I have passed by here many years going between living in Amador county and visiting family/friends in Lodi/Stockton. Finally needed a dessert for early Mother's Day celebration. Stopped in on a Saturday around 12:45 and it was mildly busy. Got the only Key Lime pie and was rang up quickly. Everyone at the celebration including myself raved about the pie and asked what grocery store I got it from so I told them got it from here. Like others have said: the tri tip sandwich (which is supposed to be one of the main attractions) was a HUGE disappointment. The bread was dry and borderline stale, not very much meat, and like a teaspoon of bbq sauce which made the sandwich unbelievably dry. It was like eating powder. We stopped by on a whim on a road trip and had to come back on our return trip. We bought 20 pies in a span of 3 days. I will do additional road trips just as an excuse to visit this place. If you ship frozen pies I will be your first customer! The chicken tikka masala pie is to die for and the more traditional American pies are also delicious and comforting. Staff is very friendly and the butter chicken plate is excellent. Anyone who is going to complain about the smell of curry and the addition of Indian spices and foods is racist. This place is incredible and if it was closer than a 6 hour drive to me I would be here at least once a week. read more

This is an update for 2023 - I believe the place was sold or is under new ownership. Mostly the same bakery stuff but oh man the bread pudding and tri tip sandwiches are definitely not the same. Spent about $50 on to go items plus some easy pot pies for the week and the sandwich felt like day or two old meat. Not very warm and color was definitely off. Smoker wasn't going (albeit a Monday) but they'd be better off not serving sandwiches if that's the case. Ruins the reputation and pretty offputting. read more

Stopped by for a quick lunch bite. Tri-tip sandwich was very good. Meat tasted fresh and smoky if a bit dry , bun and produce were fresh. Wife liked her smoked Turkey sandwich but was not "wowed ". Clements Ridge wa wonderful. We had to stop when we saw they had tikka masala pot pies! We got sidetracked by the samples, and instead wound up getting samosas, pakora and chai.. The food was delicious! We plan to go back to try the pot pies next, maybe today even :) They also have regular pies, pastries, and all kinds of packaged goods we don't usually see at a rural farm stand, e.g. Infused olive oils, pickled items, wines, fruits, nuts, etc. In addition to delicious fresh food and amazing selection of all kinds of other treats and everyday items, the customer service is top notch. They treat you like family and are very warm hearted people. We enjoyed talking to Sukh who is very kind and friendly and made sure we got our delicious food made to our liking. Love this place. Gives you a little taste of being out in the country. Definitely a great pit stop. Their tri trip sandwiches, raviolis, pot pies, and definitely their amazing assorted fruit pies are so good. Can't forget their fresh fruit and veggies as well. They also have a selection of wines and a few little knick knacks. It's a great place to go after going fishing or swimming at the nearby lake. 14$ Trip Tip Sandwich had hardly any tri tip in it at all!!! I've been going to this place for over 12 years. The previous owners would put over half an inch of tri tip in the sandwich. The cheap new owners put two slivers of tri tip in both of our sandwiches! I would have returned both sandwiches if we did not drive away and eat the sandwiches on the road up to the Sierras. This place is not how it used to be... my wife and I will never go back. The new owners should sell the business! read more

Great friendly staff in the hot bakery items & sandwich section. But the guy behind the counter in the main room wasn't in a great mood. He just seemed bothered by having customers. They have a HUGE selection of everything. You can get hot pot pies & fruit pies, as well as frozen to take with you. They have sandwiches, milkshakes and so much more! In the big main room they have so much to look at. Nuts, dried fruit, olive oils, wine, green olive variety's and pickled items, and so much more! We stopped because we had passed it numerous times on our way home from Jackson visiting family, and it was FINALLY opened on our way! My husband and I split the tri-tip sandwich. There wasn't much meat and it was cold. I really wish it was warm. The cheese wasn't melted and it just wasn't what I was expecting or wanted. We also shared a Strawberry croissant.. it was really good! The ladies were very nice behind the counter and it didn't take too long. The food! Incredible. We just stopped here randomly on a trip to somewhere else and were taken aback with our good fortune in finding this unexpected gem. They have the best homemade pot pies I've ever eaten. The two girls at the counter were so helpful and they helped us find where we needed to go, & made sure we didn't forget forks and salt and pepper. We used to stop by all the time to pick up pies on our way back to the bay, and they were always exceptional. We especially loved the strawberry rhubarb. Unfortunately, they have changed the recipe for the worse. The pie is a bland, gelatinous mess with zero texture. I hope they will bring back the old recipes soon! read more
