My Dell laptop stopped working so i took it here to see of it was repairable. I didn't think much of it because i though i needed a new computer so i was ready to ditch it if need be. I definately wasn't willing to put much money into it because i figured its probabily time for a new one. Anyhow, i get there as the owner looks at my computer, tells me it's actually a really good computer. He explains that if i expand memory and update the operating system the computer will last me another 6 years. Cost was extremely readonable and they had it fixed and ready to go in no time. I was told that a diagnosis would be free. I show up and then Ashor tries telling me it would be $195 to diagnose it. My computer is acting like it is getting 0 power. I asked him why it would be so expensive and he tried telling me he would need to trest every component individually. He said he would need to check the video card, ram, CPU, etc.. mind you, anybody who knows anything IT would know that a bad video card or bad CPU or bad ram would still act like it has power but would just fail to get past POST. I told him I tried swapping the PSU also so I just needed him to test the mobo, my connection, and the power button wire/connections. He said he cant test those things because he doesnt have the tools to test those things. Those are literally the only things it could be. So he was going to try to rip me off $200 to test a whole bunch of things it absolutely couldnt be but not test the things it could be. Waste of time and gas. Either they KNEW they were trying to rip me off or he was sincere about what he wanted to test but has no clue what hes talking about, and either way it's someone that shouldnt get any business of mine. read more

Honestly, I'm not really the type of guy to be arguing with people over prices, but this was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I had my Mac serviced at Apple and they told me my hard drive had some bad sectors, which would cost about $130 to replace. I thought I check this place out first to see if they would price match, give me a better deal, and or possibly recover my data. Minh greeted me at the door and I told him what was up and he asked for my information. By the end of our conversation I asked what would be the cost and he said $149. I told him what Apple quoted me and that's when another associate and the manager Andrew jumped in and they all started going off on me. At that point, I just felt like walking out and not spending my $$ at a business that intimidates their customers. Andrew went on about how I'm getting a bigger hard drive, installing the OS, telling me that Apple "doesn't do any of that stuff for you." Treated me as if I didn't know anything about computers. In the end, I really just wanted my data recovered onto a new hard drive. He basically threw the receipt paper at me to sign. I had to ask him if they were going to call me when it was done and how long it would take, all I got was "yup...yup." Not even a thank you. Only good thing was my Mac was done in about 3 days. I get it man, you're in a business and you have that sales making mentality, but there's no need to be rude to your customers dude. read more

Horrible.....Horrible......Horrible!!!! I took my computer in to replace ONE single cable to connect a secondary hard drive. I was told by the technician, "Mike", that it was no problem and would take care of it immediately. The following day, I called to check the progress and Mike told me he was unable to complete the job as he had service calls to make. He assured me he would take care of it soon. The second day, I called again and was told the cable was installed, BUT.....he was unable to make the computer work and now only has a blue screen. Additionally, he would have to troubleshoot the problem which will be both a lengthy and costly process. I told him to stop any work and I would pick up my computer immediately. When I arrived to pick it up, Mike was nowhere to be found and I was charged $59.00 just to take away my no longer working computer!! If you want to be jerked around and have more problems than you started with.....and be charged for the ordeal....then this is the place for you! Total rip-off!! Will NEVER, EVER go here again and will advise anyone to stay far away!! read more

Incorrectly diagnosed my mom's computer. Said it needed Mother Board, GPU, Hard Drive, and Power Supply (wow, talk about a shot gun diagnosis). Then tried to sell her a crappy desktop. I found some time and tested all parts. Turns out the power supply was the only bad part. I kept her computer and it's been fine for 2yrs. The big issue is for some reason they kept her hard drive and gave us a "remanufactured" one. What a bunch of bull shit. The computer could never install all the service packs correctly because of this (the install files are part of the HP BS) Now that wonderful hard drive swap screwed me. So now their "reman" drive is failing causing me a headache, thus Click Away gets a poor review. read more

My boss and I don't know much about computers, so I just want to say what is wrong and have someone go into my computer and fix it. I also don't want to have to carry the computer to a shop. I want someone to come to my office and fix it there. I have used Click-Away at my office in the past. They have always come out the same day and helped with whatever I needed. A couple of weeks ago, we started experiencing something that I was sure was a virus. I called Click-Away to come out and fix it for me. I run the office alone and needed it fixed quick so I could keep business moving. However, for the first time, Click-Away didn't have anyone available that day. I was immediately perturbed and started asking around for recommendations. Although some people told me to wait for Click-Away, I decided to try someone else. BIG MISTAKE!!! I took my computer to another company and pointed out what was happening and specifically told them not to touch my report program or my Quickbooks. They promised to run a full back-up and remove any virus and junk files from my computer. I should have the computer back the next morning. 3 days later it was finally ready to be picked up and both my most important files were gone. This was a Friday, so they couldn't do anything until after the weekend and actually told me to call Quickbooks myself. I don't want to do any work on my computer, I want to pay someone to fix it for me. So, that next Monday, 6 days later, I called Click-Away. Mike came out the same day and had my problems fixed in no time. He showed up at the time he promised me and was polite and attentive when he arrived. He listened to what I had to say and knew exactly what to do. He not only fixed the problems I told him the other company created, but he found other things they had done and fixed those too. The entire time Mike worked on my computer he had a good demeanor and didn't get frustrated at the mess. He was quick in his work, very knowledgeable, and fair in his pricing. WOW! What can I say? This business is how every business should be ran. They were so professional, and knowledgeable. I thought the computer was fried because it was so old and I hadn't used it in years. Since I found a universal charger that worked, I thought to finally get that data back. I had an old xp laptop that had tons of pictures and songs on it that I couldn't retrieve because once it was powered up, my laptop said, "Error loading Operating System." Brought a non working computer here for a free diagnosis. In about an hour the tech Andy Nguyen found that my hard drive was bad. Replaced hard drive and now runs just like new. Next I ordered a bunch of parts from amazon to have Andy build me a new computer, during the process, he found more than half the parts ordered from amazon were defective and obviously returned already then sold as new to me.
