    Dealer's Choice Mocktail - Nice!
    Frank C.

Had a great time at their new location on NE Alberta. The space is great. Neat bar and plenty of large and small tables. Lots of outside seating, both out front on the sidewalk as well as a large patio in the back. And the entire set of windows at the front of the place opens during the summer to let the outside in. They have a rich menu of snacks, entrees, and drinks. Burger and fries were great. I especially appreciated the Dealer's Choice Mocktail. Service is always great!

Nachos were the best I've ever had!!!! The vegetarian ones had so many fabulous cheeses and flavors- HUGE portions.... small arugula salad $6 was enough for 4 people. Hamburgers great too!

    Veggie nachos

Best veggie nachos/ nachos I've ever freaking had, n they're huge and filling! I'm a meat eater and it taste so good. I don't even care if there's meat on it, it's so good you don't even realize it. There is an option for meat , but it's the best veggie nachos I've ever had! definitely recommend. Me and my sister had it twice now, consistent every time, and we share it.

Nice neighborhood spot in the old Lardo space beneath Wonder Ballroom. Limited, but solid wine selection for a "beer bar" and elevated food. Their baked oysters were excellent as was my shrimp po-boy! Eclectic Portland at its best! I love to find these types of places. Service was on the slow side, but the environment is so cool that you don't notice. Try it out!

The food was delicious....i had the smoke chicken sandwich and hubby had the steak and fries. Loved the service and ambiance. We also took the popcorn to go - OMG

This place is amazing! I had the steak and fries, which came with a little aioli and an arugala salad, and my friend had the nachos with steak. Both landed as something between perfectly sized and ridiculously massive, and both were so delicious! For drinks, I had an old fashioned that was great and my friend had ginger ale. I didn't taste his drink but he said it was amazing, definitely not out of a can. Staff was quick to serve, and the interior has this super cool dark vibe that is perfect. Even though it's under the wonder ballroom, it still has plenty of windows so there's natural light. Between the two of us, the total ran $64. Definitely need to come here again, so much more on the menu I want to try!

Great atmosphere and good food, drinks are pretty good as well. Cool dive bar vibe and the service is good. Right beside Wonder Ballroom, just the right spot to get a quick bites and drinks before the show. 10/10

We branched out and tried their nachos and the most incredible steak and fries. Beautifully seasoned, cooked to perfection and the portions were just what I wanted. Now the nachos are next level HUGE and just the right about of cheese to chip ratio. Top five favorite places in Portland, hands down.

Even better is their iteration of Mac salad - curry, potatoes and pickles??? My heart cannot take it. Also tried their creamy salmon poke / fresh flavorful and arrived on a bed of rice. So in love and will be back !

You would see that it's going to a motel, you would think to add the silverware. Fortunately, I was able to get silverware from my motel's breakfast room. The lumpia were very good. They were not greasy at all. They are smaller than standard eggrolls, but because they use more meat and less veggies than your standard eggroll, they pack a lot more flavor. Everything inside was seasoned well, and I really enjoyed them. They came with a vinegar based dipping sauce that I liked The "garlic Ponzu" salmon poke? No, not nearly as good. For the price they were charging, it was not a very big portion. Besides that, it just wasn't that good. A good salmon is normally pink to orange. This salmon was barely pink. I couldn't taste the garlic or the Ponzu at all. The veggies were crisp, the rice was a good quality, but there was just no seasoning. The salmon was very bland. I didn't know if it was just because of the seasoning, maybe they used a low quality or a previously, frozen salmon. I love good salmon. This was not good salmon. For the price I paid, not counting the DoorDash fees because those are added in anyway, I just felt I didn't get my moneys worth. Next time I'm in the area, I will find another place. Thanks anyway.

We were warmly greeted, seated in a booth, and promptly served a basket of crispy tortilla chips and homemade salsa. The family-friendly atmosphere had a cozy neighborhood destination vibe. We shared a carne asada platter with a chile relleno and taco al pastor. The carne asada was amazing! Generous portion of grilled meat that was perfectly seasoned. All the sides you would want...guac, pico de gallo, sour cream, grilled scallion and jalapeño, rice, beans cheese plus your choice of tortillas to wrap it all up in. The chile relleno had lots of melty cheese and was thinly battered, just my style. So much yummy food, plenty for two. We had grapefruit Jaritos and n/a Corona but the margaritas look to be very popular, we even saw several huge ones with two straws being shared. Cannot comment on dessert, not enough room. We will definitely be back. Perfect pre-theater dinner and looks to be a great spot for family dining. We'll be back!!

Chips and salsa were both weak. Most restaurants at least heat/refry the chips. The Chile Relleno is the eggy batter kind, with low-end chile like you'd find in a can. If this is the only familiar style of chili relleno then do yourself a favor and try the version at Salsas Locas in Southeast. Now that's something to brag about. The lunch special taco is only available in hard shell with a limited choice of ground beef (yuck), chicken or bean and cheese. The whole thing is topped with shredded iceberg lettuce (double yuck) then drowned in old school ranchero sauce with gobs of cheese. Very 1980s like. That said, the soft taco with carnitas was very good! So it seems like they have a mishmash of gringo Mexican and some authentic dishes. The interior is very inviting while the service was friendly and fast. Only saw Mexican staff and Mexican customers, a good thing. One and done for me, but many will enjoy this type of venue.
