The baked mussel is the best tho! The sushi is alright, average. If you like seafood especially crab legs, this is definitely the place to go to. Their refilling is way better than other buffet. However, the foods are gone really quickly and you may have to eat like you are in a war or something. I went here with my family and god mother, and it was one of the best dinners I've ever had. I smelt the amazing food before I even went into the store! There was so much food to choose from, it was so hard to decide. Sushi, fruits, vegetables, crabs, and so much more. When you walk you don't pay up front. You pay after you eat. Everything was alright but the "blue crab" was not blue crab. It was actually blue swimmer crab from India not from America. I've stopped by Clifton Buffet a handful of times throughout the last few years and they've remained consistent throughout the years. Expect a good range of food (mostly Chinese) at a decent price. For a buffet, I find the food to be pretty good and they seem to be pretty efficient at making sure to re-fill empty dishes quickly. Customers love coming for their crab-legs so that can be hard to get sometimes since they're gone within 2 minutes of being put out. On Sunday, the price is $18 pp (as of January 2020) but lunch during the week is about $11-12 which is a good price. Overall, this remains a pretty good buffet in the area and I'll keep coming back. read more

The food is amazing. I go there very often and always make sure to tip at least 25% especially since covid started. My only complaint is the servers drop the check and kind of demand right away payment to the point where it gets a little uncomfortable. Numerous times my boyfriend had to rush his chewing because the server continued to come back 6 times in a matter of three minutes (not an exaggeration) to check for the payment. This happened too many times and I think maybe this matter should be addressed to the servers. This buffet is your very typical Chinese buffet. Nothing special but its to the point; a variety of choices at a good price. I have to say though, many other Chinese buffets are just as expensive, or even more pricier, but Clifton Buffet has more bang for your buck. For it's cheap price, having crab legs for dinner is a plus! As for the other selections of food, you will find all the American-Chinese food favorites, your chicken and broccoli, spare ribs, and general tso's chicken are all here. Well, sometimes things can skid off track and, after my flinitial review of this spot in 2011, it's happened here. When it initially changed names and ownership, the best foot was put forward. It's still there, but with so many of these places popping up, all pretty cheap, they really have to raise the bar higher. This time around, the sushi must have been made by a visually impaired employee; the pieces were at least two inches thick and filled with mostly overcooked sushi rice. The California roll 5 ways was the theme, lacking in variety. A hibachi station would benefit this place, but for now it only has a grill. Nothing for us there, mostly meat and chicken. Dinner or a Friday ran us over 30 for 2 of us. A bit on the higher end for the selection which, if you've been able to try similar places around here, separates them greatly. Buffets can be hit or miss but the couple times I have been here have been a hit! They have a very large selection of food and they seem pretty busy which means the food is being turned over. They provide each table with a bowl to put your scraps in. Other places you need to grab a second plate for shells or bones. They are located in a strip mall so plenty of parking. The quality and selection of food has declined of late. They have definitely fallen victim to inflation. There are no more snow crab legs! I know they are expensive, and people just cover their plates with them, but I wish rather than taking them away entirely, they had made it so each dinner comes with a voucher which can be redeemed for 5 or 6.
