We have used Climatic for several years now checking up annually on our A/C, humidifier and furnace. Their technicians are bar none the best. They take their time to explain what they did, what it means and how you as a homeowner could take steps to save money. We are lucky to have an honest contractor like them around. Their pricing is average, anything related to HVAC can be costly. We had to call them recently for a blower fan that burnt out in our furnace. Mind you this is in winter and over a weekend. They sent someone out right away, confirmed it was the blower and was able to help us figure a way to get the blower to work and hobble along with heat until the part comes this week. Horrible Experience: I never want to write a bad review, but I felt compelled to share my experience regarding the poor service I received, especially considering how much I paid. Their technician recommended that we choose the cheaper option: a refrigerant recharge, stating that our leak was "tiny" and should last at least until next summer. However, the recharge, which was still quite expensive, lasted only one day. A technician from another company later informed us that we were overcharged and that the leak was much bigger than described. Any competent technician would have known that a recharge wouldn't have worked. Naturally, I called Climatic to seek clarification, and they said someone will call me back. I never heard back from them since. I would never recommend this company to anyone... I feel like I've been robbed. read more

When our 13 year old AC unit went out I called Climatic based on reviews and raves on social media. We couldn't get an appointment for a quote for a few days. I am happy we waited out before making a decision. We did have a couple of other companies come out and give us a quote. I use Climatic for all my heat pumps since 2011. Excellent service and repairs by Ryan and the entire crew. Fantastic job installing new heat pumps and air handlers in 2017 and again just last week (different units). Service/repair people are polite, clearly explain what is happening (if you are curious) and efficient. New install people are polite, cleanup afterwards, and get the job done right. They use Carrier gear (which I am happy with) and are very timely if an emergency, or you can save a few dollars by going non-emergency if you can limp along on a secondary unit for a few days. read more

This review is late in the making but I wanted to make sure I gave my positive review to be considered when one is looking for air conditioning work. After evaluating glowing online reviews, we called Climatic about a slowly declining A.C. system. A tech came out but could not take a certain pertinent measurement because our coils were encased in a frozen block of ice. He asked us to turn off the system overnight to let it thaw out and he arranged to have a tech come out the next day to get the required measurements. The following day, a different tech (expected) came out and gave us the news we had a leak in the system. He gave us our options and arranged for one of their sales people to come out to estimate our options. He gave us our options in separate, but combinable sections of the proposal and we made a decision to replace both the outside unit and the coils. ( the coils were included anyway) The techs who came out to install the system were quiet, efficient and quick. All in all, our A.C. downtime was short over four visits from this company, and we are very happy with the work, equipment and people we dealt with. Climatic was responsive, patient and informative, professional and friendly. Every single person we dealt with. They arrived when they said they would. The techs cleaned up after themselves, and were very careful to not track anything into our home on their shoes. We are so very pleased to have made the decision to call and follow up with them. I have been working with Climatic over the past 5 or so years in maintaining and upgrading the now older systems installed over the past 20 years in my house. The 5+ systems are all based on propane boiler hot water for heat and electric for air and were installed by a company that did not believe in multiple zones services by fewer units and have been ridiculously expensive to operate. Sonny was referenced to me by a friend and agreed to come out and look over the situation since we now needed repairs and upgrades etc. In a few words - Sonny and Climatic were great and talked me out of blowing the whole house up. They looked at each system and expertly evaluated the life expectancy vs replacement cost of each unit including the overbuild propane boilers. We came up with a plan which has resulted in replacing three units and installing a new mini-split in an outbuilding. The result has been a dramatic reduction in operating costs. The work has been without exception outstanding, repairs have been minimal and their response to any needed maintenance is effectively supported under their annual agreement. I recently had Climatic service an older rental unit in Winchester, they responded promptly, calmed the tenant down and diagnosed the issue as a minor switch replacement which they repaired on the spot. Sonny is man that loves his business, is very current with the newer technology and has a sound, truthful approach to the dilemmas of ever-changing technology and your pocketbook. I have had many HVAC service contracts over the years and none compare to Climatic. Same day service during unusually hot weather. Typically you wait a week to get service. Justin was there that afternoon. Very capable tech - did all the normal filter checks and went to the air handler and pulled the cap - replaced and viola.
