The food is always delicious and the bread pudding dessert unmatched. I always trust the food will be great when I come here.

Great ambiance, I like the mix of seating types. We've been a few times and the service is always excellent. Would have given a 5 but it's not great value and the food is just "good". Not slamming it, or I would have given 2-3 stars, just find the pricing WAY out of line with the area, portion size and sometimes quality. For example, a filet is like $76 for something you can get for $40-50 elsewhere, and likely same supplier/cut. The chip encrusted haddok asparagus risoto tasted fine, but it should be called Few Bits of Asaparagus and Risoto with side of Haddok. Tail section too! They are making a KILLING here. The pizza is amazing though, along with the salads so that's what we generally get. Overall I'd rather eat here than many other places where the service just, well, sucks and/or the food isn't great. But be prepared to drop well over $125 for 2 if you want full course meals. Even places in Hudson don't charge this much (Hudson is very similar to Clinton, but about 10 years fast forwarded on revitalization of the downtown). read more

What an amazing restaurant!!! This was our first time down this way visiting Nashoba Valley Winery and were looking for a good place to dine after! Well, let me just tell you about this place how great and awesome the experience was for us. Sunday night, at 5:00 pm, not very busy, so we got a table right next to the window! Great Service and even better food from start to finish. Also, great wine selections for those who enjoy wine like myself! We started off with the arugula salad which was the best I've had ever. Then we shared the lamb which was out of this world! We live an hour away, but we will be back because it was that fabulous!!! Two young male "hosts" were there during my most recent visit and they seemed inexperienced/overwhelmed; but that can be expected during dinner rush on a Saturday night! My first visit here was a couple of months ago, and we've already been back a number of times. This place is great! The menu is extensive, varied... a good mix of mostly standard fare and a smattering of interesting flavor combos. Everything we've had was excellent and perfectly cooked. Really fabulous food. We enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, scallops, wedge salad, goat cheese salad, soup, chicken parm w/pasta, pork chop, and the filet mignon... all great. Haven't tried the pizza yet. This restaurant clearly has an exaggerated sense of its own since Clinton overall does not have a lot of good restaurants. I had a salmon dish, supposedly served over a green pea purée and topped with pea sprouts. While the salmon was cooked okay, the base was essentially over cooked khaki peas. The sprouts on top were too mature, and should have been at least blanched. The price of $32+ was also ridiculous for the quality of food. read more

I really want to like this restaurant. It's one of the few real restaurants in the area and it's close enough that I can walk to it. Unfortunately, they just can't get the job done. I was there tonight, ate at the bar and tried the Chicken Parm. Who makes Chicken Parm, with a full chicken breast, that's well over an inch thick? You simply can't do it. If you fry it long enough to get it cooked, the breading will be black, crunchy, greasy and disgusting looking ... which is exactly what I got. It was plopped onto a thin pile of linguini, with an awful red sauce, that I'm 90% sure, came from a can. Now that I think of it, "awful" may be too kind of a word for the sauce. It was damn close to inedible. It was advertised as a "basil tomato sauce" (which I've never seen being used on Chicken Parm), but if this sauce ever saw a real piece of basil, it wasn't in this century. I tried Clintons Bar & Grille for the 4th and probably last time. Once again, they couldn't manage to put an good meal in front of me. At least it wasn't noisy this time. There was a snowstorm and there were probably less than 10 people in the restaurant. All the more reason, they should have been able to produce a good meal. BTW, serving most everything in a "bowl", doesn't make you cool and hip. read more

This is my second time in and can happily say that it was just as yummy the second time around. Consistency is everything. Food was great as well as the service. The bread they give along with the olive oil and cheese was delicious. I had the chicken Parmesan, my husband had the chicken Marsala, we also had buffalo chicken dip and that BREAD PUDDING!!! read more

Came here for a work dinner on a Thursday night. Big group of 10 people. We had a reservation but arrived in a few waves. We were seated as soon as we arrived at this nice long table kinda in the middle. Server came over and took our drink orders right away. Someone had told us the bread here was amazing , I was looking for it. About half an hour later finally our waitress brought out our bread bowls. Not sure why it took so long. It took a while for our drinks to come as well, which was surprising in itself because they weren't really that busy. I ordered a 10oz filet steak with mashed potatoes. It was cooked to perfection and had pretty descent flavor. I devoured it all! We ordered a few of the desserts, word to the wise the desserts are homemade from scratch. So once you order you'll be waiting about 25 minutes to eat it, the waitress says this upfront so you know which was courteous. The chocolate cake was very good , had a gooey chocolate center that I enjoyed very much. Would come back maybe with a smaller group, not sure about bigger groups because the service did get a little slow because of that. read more

With a large, open, hip dining space, great ambient lighting and cool music quietly playing in the background, the restaurant is a calm oasis serving excellent food during Covid. All courses were shared. We started with an organic arugula salad with shaved pecorino and a lemon vinaigrette that was fresh, crisp and tart. For an appetizer we had the butternut squash-filled raviolis with browned-butter sage sauce, baby-leaf spinach, shaved asiago: rich, savory, buttery, mouthwateringly good. For our main course we had the dry-aged pork chop with root vegetable puree: the chop was enormous, beautifully grilled and served with some kind of full-flavored red wine reduction (not sure what it was). I grew up here in Clinton until my 20's, and I wish this was here back then! What an amazing concept on High Street. Two stories, great decor, lovely vibe, delicious food and creative drinks! Everything this small town needs to get a buzz outside of the town walls for others to come explore. When I get back in town to visit, I will for sure try much more than just drinks and desserts! But having eaten a huge meal prior with my dear friend from town, I could only fit a few items. The White Chocolate Bread Pudding was probably one of the BEST ones I've ever had! I am a big fan and will be requesting someone ship that to me in Miami please! I also enjoyed the Falling Chocolate Cake. The sangria and berry basil drink were so refreshing. Parking is simple with street parking available on high street for free. I was there at around lunch time so it's wasn't too busy. There is enough space for a large party in multiple parts of the restaurant. It was clean and pleasant all around. read more

Clinton needed an upscale place like this! We love stopping in for a drink at the bar or dinner with friends or a lazy weekend lunch with our kids. The booths are cozy and the wine list is long. You can't go wrong with any of the seafood entrees - the potato chip encrusted haddock and the Faroe's Island salmon are my two favorites. The scallops are wonderful, too. My only suggestion is that they update their menu more often. We love everything on it but sometimes wish there was something new to try. read more

If there were less than one star options for this place it would be more suitable for our multiple experiences. If you are looking for a place that could not care less about your actual reservation time, can cook a steak however they choose regardless of how you order it, take your phone order for pizzas and completely forget to place your order then this is the place. Do you like a fresh menu with great specials? Keep looking because this ain't the place for that. On the bright side the bartenders and waitresses are awesome and unfortunately getting really great at apologizing for ownership, management, and cooks. Drinks are very good, just pack a protein bar, and if your reservation is at 7:00, plan on arriving around 7:45, grab a drink or three and then maybe your table will be ready. UNWELCOMED WELCOME Clinton , Ma was put on the tourist map due to an extraordinary Icon Museum. After the museum tour one likes to go for lunch. So we did go to the Clinton Grill, recommended by the museum staff. After sitting about ten minutes outside a hostess arrived and told us that if we stop by again we should go inside and search for her to announce our presence. And she disappeared for another ten minutes not taking our orders and not sending any service people to our table, Noone else was sitting outside. After this UNWELCOMED WELCOME the meal inside was better than average: fried calamari very good, mussels overcooked, steak and chips with pear cole slow excellent. What a hidden gem. My wife and I went here last minute on a recommendation. We never expected to find this amazing quality in clinton. For starters we had the shrimp cocktail. It's a pretty standard appetizer except they bring in fresh shrimp and prepare it themselves (not frozen). This, in my opinion, was better prepared than what I have had at Legal's. On the same app we had a Scallops which were prepared equally as well. For our main course I had the monster bone in rib eye ordered medium which came to table with a beautifully simple presentation accompanied by a sweet potato. This rib eye was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We had an amazing waitress who was so very enthusiastic over the menu. She described the sword fish with such enthusiasm that my wife (who I have never seen eat swordfish) ordered the swordfish. When her meal arrived it was (in her words) one of the best pieces of fish she had ever had. To end the meal we had a couple very good cups of coffee. Everything here is made to order and it really shows. The waitress then brought us to meet the chef owner who was in the kitchen working his magic. Everyone was absolutely on their game from time we entered the restaurant to when we left. I am looking forward to the Next time I am able to get over here to try one of their other great sounding meals. Let me start by stating that I Really like this restaurant! The food is always excellent, as well as being a good value. I have been there many times and will no doubt be back there again soon. That said my experience this past Wednesday was sub par. The food was good but the service was terrible. We sat in the window at a high top for two for our 6:30 reservation. There seemed to be plenty of staff but our male server was just inattentive. 25 minutes after sitting down we still didn't have our drinks it took 15 minutes to actually be greeted by our waiter. Our table was never bussed before he brought out the next course forcing some gymnastics as he tried to put down the new course on the small table. When he did set down the new course he took all the cutlery from my wife and we had to ask for more and waited while he went to the kitchen and server someone else's food before he brought a fork and knife so my wife could begin eating. We had to ask and wait for refills on water and another beer for me. He knew he had crossed the line as he gave me a beer to make up for the fork and knife delay. I used to come here with family as a kid and was happy to revisit. The only reason I give three stars is cause my server was excellent. Other then that. The food was disappointing, it lacked the flavor that it used to have in the past. Everything was very tasteless and under seasoned. The women's bathroom didn't even have a changing table where I could change my new born a waitress had to offer me a table in a vacant area to change him, like come on. Our family decided to order out from this restaurant for our Easter dinner and everything was amazing! The haddock was so delicious, and the steak was equally tasty. We ordered the beet salad, rice, onion bread and also the lobster mac n' cheese as extra sides...OMG! I had the lobster mac for dinner the next day and believe it or not, it tasted better the 2nd day! Their salad was so fresh, not your basic salad either, they put strips of pear & strawberries in it to make it more delicious. Note: all this food had to travel another hour to get to its destination in Methuen so they packed it all so carefully in an isulated carrier, everything was still warm when we took it out to serve.
