One of the best barber shops around. I come all the way from Riverside just to get a proper hair cut here. I've tried every single barber shop out in Riverside and they are terrible and over priced!! 20 dollars plus for a buzz cut!! Not here!!!! They all know how to cut hair quickly and professionally!! But the man Brian is awesome!! Gives the best haircut I have ever had and is consistent about it. He knows how to give you a proper military style haircut and will have you in and out of the chair in under 20 minutes with a great looking hair cut! I am going to be making the drive out here every other weekend just for a hair cut now since I've started letting my hair grow out again. Yes!! When paying for my senior haircut ($6) I gave the barber a $20 bill. He handed me $12.00 change. I asked him what the price of the haircut was. He replied $6 plus $2 tip. When we asked for his money back they refused and didn't even look at me insisting that that was the style. This is the first time I'm doing a review for yelp. Anyways.... I'm not picky when it comes to my hair cuts... all I need is a trim really and I'm fine. I comb my hair with a lot of gel so details don't matter much. That being said, I appreciate being treated right as a customer. I've come several times... maybe about 7 times and I've had no problems until today. Here's the story... I told the barber what I wanted and during the haircut while she was trimming my hair I felt the front of my hair... and I thought it was too short. I said, "This is sort of short." She replied, "you said you wanted shorter in the front." I said, "no I wanted it longer in the front." .... She said I wanted longer and I thought I said otherwise.... That wasn't the problem. I didn't care about that but what happened afterwards was the problem... Then she said," What do you want me to do?" I replied, " I comb it back. I don't even know what you should do." (I thought it was sort of funny at this point) Then I said," Its okay. I can fix it. (I use a lot of gel anyways) Then I said, "I guess you can just do what you were doing and finish it off." She said,"I'm done. There's nothing more I can do." I said, "Are you sure? That's a coincidence." Then she said, "Are you calling me a lair?" I said, "no I'm not saying that. I just thought it wasn't done" (remember the beginning of the story? She was holding part of my hair and cutting it) And when I looked at the mirror ... it looked messy... she didn't comb it or put gel on it... ya know, those finishing touches that you get at the end of a cut. My instinct was that it didn't seem finish. So.. right then.. she said, "Get out. I won't charge you." I said, "I didn't mean to offend you. I just thought it wasn't done." Then she said, " I'm not offended." (I'm thinking.. then what's the problem???????????) She said it all with a straight face... I think she might be pathological lair. And this time I'm saying it and meaning it. Think about it... she's kicking me out of the place and then says ," I'm not offended." .... all that with a straight face. I tried talking to her some more.. and then a barber next to me offered to fix my hair... he did... got him to edge it out. I admit though.. I shouldn't have said, "That's a coincidence." That sounds loaded. Still though... I think she over-reacted and now.... I can't see myself ever going there ever again. It'd just be too awkward. The other barbers seem alright... However, the female barber and I think she's the only female barber, I'd stay away from her. Its hard to show it in writing but she seems to have a bad attitude. read more

I'm easy, 1 to 1.5 buzzcut. 5 minutes and I'm done. Randy did a fine job with my buzzcut. Easy to find and plenty of parking. It is cheap at $8 for my haircut so expect lots of people due to very reasonable price. Love that they are open 7 days a week. They open early at 8:00 am, a plus for me. I would've rated 1 but I did notice that there is other talent there, sadly to say though, it wasn't the "barber" who was cutting my hair. But, I knew it was going to be a crap shoot as soon as he undid the neck tie area, letting more than an acceptable amount of irritating, itchy hair cuttings down the collar off my shirt. And OK maybe the language barrier had something to do with the non-understanding of how I the person the hair cut would be affecting, wanted it cut! Lol ... That's not really what got me to the point of writing this review though. It was when I got home and showered ...[Was super itchy] and noticed when in front of the mirror, how bad he really HACKED UP and I do mean hacked up my hair along with the ridiculous amount of stray long hairs, not tiny little bit of long but like an inch+ long hairs .. And not just around the ears. But dead center of the sides and back of the head where it's shaved at a 1 clip. Resenting now giving him a generous tip on top of it... So my befuddled and curious self now is wondering how as a person who is getting paid and expecting grutuatity can show such a disappointing display of work ethic and pride. If you can't do the job to its fullest extent of expectation as a minimum ... Then DON'T ... Yes it will grow back but not by tomorrow though LMAO ... Not cool.. Not cool indeed! They give you a haircut and that's it! You can't really ask for anything more from a little shop like this. They do these haircuts at a great price, and hardly is there a wait in the shop. My hair looks great and its nothing to the employees but the shop has no theme or looks like its alive at all so its gonna lose a star until the atmosphere picks up. read more
