What a awesome place, lived in the area for years and it was a regular breakfast spot for me and my family. I was in the area for work and had to make it for breakfast one morning. This place is seat yourself which caused confusion at the front and about a 20 minute wait. The table busser was staring around with 5 dirty tables and a long line at the front. The food was good but not very warm. It's very packed and the waitress we had wouldn't even take her time to listen to us and never came back until our food was out and then we never saw her again. Cute little diner in downtown Branson. We went there for breakfast and had the pecan pancakes, bacon and biscuits and gravy. Both were really good and decent coffee. This place was recommended by our hotel. We came twice - the first was fine, but the second time the service was terrible. We had to bus our own table. Then three tables after us were served first. About two minutes after getting our order taken, one of those who can in after us went to the door - the table had already finished their meal. Nobody really apologized - when we voiced our displeasure (and requested another server) it was just to get us out of the way as quickly as possible. We made the mistake of going there today a little after 1. We had not eaten and was hungry. The place was packed. It was seat yourself , one tiny table was all that was empty. It was full of dirty dishes. No one came over, finally someone cleaned table and never saw her again. The one guy waiter I guess was for our table 20 minutes later he brought us a menu and asked us what to drink. Now I know they were busy but when a table of 6 walked in, they waited on them immediately and they got their food before us. After waiting another 20 minutes or so we got food, we had chicken fried steak, it was a chunk of meat. It was so tough and hard to chew I was afraid I would choke on it. We asked for over medium eggs, they were fried HARD. I got Texas toast and it was just regular toast. (I hope they know there is a difference). The hash browns were very brown, on the edge of burnt. The coffee was okay, but all they had was pink stuff, my Dr., specifically told me to never use that, (I'm diabetic) I usually carry stevia, but my purse was out of them. We will probably never go back. I am always amazed how most of the food in Branson is not very good. I guess you have to eat somewhere BUT why does it have to be so bad. read more

When I think of a home town breakfast place this is exactly what I expect. Friendly and pleasant service. Nothing is fancy or hip but it makes up for it in being delicious. It really is one of our favorite breakfast places in Branson & so reasonable, only cost my daughter and I $15.00 to eat Here for breakfast and that's very cheap compared to ihop and some other places & this is much better!
