I've been going to CLOs for awhile but I was very impressed today on how they prepare the mojarra frita to go. The server was very friendly when she took my to go order. Here is the picture of the fish. It also came with rice and beans and salad with a very generous serving of guacamole.

Looked for some place to eat while at Thermal. FYI: there is nothing in Thermal. Checked on Yelp and this place ranked 4.5 stars. I thought that was pretty good for Mexican food out here. It was not easy to find from the street. You have to drive up and see the suite numbers so you can locate it. They did not have a visible business sign. Inside they had portable a/c's blowing, I guess their central air must be out. We were seated right away, as there was only a couple at a table. For being a 4.5 star place it was pretty empty for the lunch hour. I ordered the half Greek salad and chicharron pupusa, and my friend ordered the carnitas torta. They brought the torta out first. It was huge. My friend could only eat half. He said it was really good. Then my salad came out and it was a pretty decent size for a half order. It wasn't anything special. Then I tried the chicharron pupusa and that also wasn't anything to rave about. What I did like was the price for the food. We each paid about $12 for the lunch. It can't get any better than that for a sit down restaurant. The service overall was not bad either. We sat there for a bit and we weren't interrupted like most places. If you're out in Indio give this place a try and see for yourself.

Holy cow!!! This place is bomb!! Lowkey if you blink you'll miss it right next to O'Reilly's in Coachella this place is a GEM. Service is amazing the food is unparallel!!! I cant believe Ive waited this long for this joy in food. Order Al Pastor torta bomb! Wings &Fries Bomb! Fajitas Mixta Bomb!!!

C'Los is the perfect place to get food from when you and your family want different types of food. I have tried papusa, omelets, Frisco burger, tortilla soup and various sandwiches all which have been delicious! The salad dressings are made at the restaurant using plenty of spices for flavor. C'Los used to be our Sunday spot but now my coworkers and I pick up for lunch a couple of times a week.

Great takeout place with friendly staff! Have stopped by twice, once for pupusas (not pictured) and a second time for tacos. The portions are generous, the salsas are tasty but the tacos could use a bit more seasoning.

Stumbled across this restaurant after browsing around the net. There's not a lot to say the food was exquisitely flavorful, very budget friendly and portions where plentiful. There's many independent restaurants in the area and even though many merit their own unique flavors and takes on a variety of dishes, few capture the essence of cooking with a passion and generally although savory always tend to feel commercialized. The shrimp tacos, popusas, and bacon burger that where had during our visit by myself and my partner where undoubtedly craftily put together by someone who knows what they are doing and isn't just in it for a paycheck. The service was outstanding as well, for two adults who where unable to finish our dishes with an appetite we paid in the area of 20-30 dollars and where very satisfied. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I found it a while back (around the time they opened, coincidentally) and went in for lunch. The food tastes like love and passion for quality went into it. I could not believe the freshness I could taste in everything: the chips were warm from the fryer, the salsa was light and fresh tomato based pico-de-gallo, perfect for snacking while you browse the menu, the pasta a chicken were expertly prepared and the marinara was noticeably homemade. The first visit, I was so excited to try everything that I over ordered. Even the food I took home, hours later, tasted amazing! Every time I go, I get something off the ever-refreshed and always hearty helpings, 'Specials' board. I have gotten to know the ladies that run the front of house; did I mention this place is family owned and run, Judy and her daughters always have attentive, quick, and correct service. Whether I phone in, or walk in, my order is always exactly what was advertised, and sometimes even more- when they have things like bread or tortillas that come with some orders. read more

Don't be thrown off by the photos of the menu! We came here for lunch while our son was driving at the BMW Performance school. Lunch pickings are few around here but this is a must stop if you like authentic Latin American food. This is the real deal. Sopes, pupusas are the best we've ever had! This is a super clean place with very friendly staff. Give it a try! read more

Best popusas I've had in the Coachella valley. Their popusa with chicharron and cheese was so bomb. Ask for their specials as I was able to get a hearty chicken soup with lots of veggies with my popusa as a combo for a great price. There's lots of healthy options to choose from in the menu as well. My daughter ordered a club sandwich and my hubby had the carne asada sope and we shared our food. Everything we tried was delicious. 5 start rating because they have delicious food, great prices and the place is clean. read more

It's nice to find a restaurant with choices other than Mexican cuisine in Coachella. Soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers in addition to tacos, sopes and pupusas. Very clean. A little noisy with Mexican music and kitchen noise. I ordered ham, turkey, avocado melt sandwich with potato wedges. Very good. Big portions. I ate half and took other half to go. Hands down the best pupusas EVER! I recently discovered C'Los and have been back numerous times in the past two weeks. If pupusas is not your thing they have a pretty diverse menu like pizza, sopes, and wings. Staff is very friendly. read more

I'm picky when it comes to a good burger..and as of late The Habit Grill was my favorite and in-n-Out coming in second place. ..that was until I came by this pleasant little spot nestled in a small shopping plaza in Coachella. The moment you walk into the place, the owners who cook and serve you food themselves are all smiles and very friendly making your dining experience even better! .. The food is great, very very tasty making it hard to decide what to eat. Sandwiches, Pastas, Pizza, Breadsticks, Salads, Burgers and more! I had a Cheeseburger combo @ 6.99 you cant beat the greatest burger in the valley IMHO! I've been back at least once a week and it's always the same warm inviting atmosphere. I guarantee if you stop in you won't regret it! read more

one day i was walking down the street in a hot summer day, it gets hot in coachella like freaking hot and idk why i was walking, maybe out of boredom. then i turn to my right and i se it C'los grand opening, i was surprice cuz i never look that way ever before so i go in and damn the pupusa i order where big and delicious and dont pass on the cabbage salad put that stuff in it hella good, after i was done i pay and i went back into the real world and till this day i dream of eating does delicious pupusas again, they also sell pizza its good. read more

It made for a really nice, even ratio of sauce, cheese, and toppings. The crust was a little burnt, but the pizza was fine I don't eat the crust anyways. Two pizzas for $32.90!! it would've easily cost us that much for just one pizza elsewhere around the area. Our order was also ready in 10 minutes, which was impressive. Highly recommend checking this spot out if you're in the area. Great value, fast service, and solid pizza.

The vegetables and potatoes were good, but the lobster tails, themselves, were anything but the advertised, "succulent." They were all about two small bites each (that's being generous) were overcooked, and not tender at all. Though there were three "distinct" flavors listed, they all tasted the same, with the exception of the spicy one which was just chili flakes on top. The pupusas were good enough, but I wouldn't make the trip out again for the food. Service was attentive and the robot server was fun to see.

We came for Lobster Tail Trilogy and I had high expectations, but the tails fell short. They were very petite and not as tender as I would've liked. The mashed potatoes and veggies were good. The service was great and the staff checked on the table a few times. With that said, I'd return for surf & turf, a burger, or menudo.

I called asking if my order was incomplete since I'm used to my burritos having rice, beans and cheese etc.. and he explained to me that's what they consider a burrito just meat and pico? Great place, great food, very friendly staff, large selection of food from pupusa, to fish tacos, pizza, salads etc... let's just say something for everybody's taste buds! Very reasonably priced. Definitely one of my fav spots. read more
