Such an amazing experience! Andrea was so wonderful and knowledgeable. We could not have asked for a better girls day!

You must try the Rose Cabernet Franc! Ask for Andrea she is so wonderful and knowledgeable about wine!

My friend and I came to celebrate her birthday with a 10am tasting on a Friday at Clos du Val and had a truly extraordinary experience with our host Aaron. The tasting room is spacious, gorgeous and comfortable, and it's clear from beginning the thoughtfulness and intention placed into everything from the delicious dip made from ingredients sourced entirely from ingredients on the grounds (the honey, walnuts, olive oil, etc.), to the table setting highlighting some of the plants used as part of the regenerative organic farming approach Clos du Val takes. Our host Aaron was very knowledgeable and took his time teaching us the history of Clos du Val, discussing the terroir, geography, the meaning of Hirondelle, and so much more, and he truly made our visit outstanding. We learned so much about the wines, and it was clear that Aaron prioritized helping us discover what we enjoy in wines, not just here at Clos du Val, but in general so that we could apply these concepts to wines elsewhere. The wines themselves were all delicious, and we were happy to take some bottles of our favorites home with us. Thank you for hosting us, and I hope to be back in the future! Definitely come visit Clos du Val to enjoy some delicious wines in a beautiful setting!

A visually gorgeous winery with a smaller foot print, we came in for a morning tasting with Sarah. She was such a sweetheart and gave us such a history on the winery and the wines themselves. We did the classic tasting, starting with a white and going into 3 (or 4) more reds. While the white was ok, the reds really did stand out, especially the Pinot Noir and the last one on the tasting ($200 a bottle). The reds really are the star there and we got a generous pour of each. The dip that came with our tasting was a nice labneh like dip with fresh bread and persimmon. Property is smaller but gorgeous outside and in (sleek but not too cold and bland) and the restrooms were nice as well. Would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the patio. Great stop in and thank you Sarah for an awesome time!

We hosted an event at Clos Du Val and it was truly the most amazing experience from start to finish. The team at Clos Du Val are INCREDIBLE, the entire staff is so friendly and you can tell they are really passionate about Clos Du Val (and they all feel like one big family!). Nikko helped bring our event vision to life, from coordinating the pizza truck to ensuring every glass was filled with wine throughout our event. If you are looking for an event space that truly cares, look no further!!!

Wine by the glass & bottle

We walked in with no reservations hoping to enjoy a couple wine by the glass vs doing a tasting. Luckily it wasn't too busy so we got a high top by the window. Normally this is done outside, but it was raining, the patio area looks great and would definitely come back again to enjoy it. They have 6 options for wine by the glass ranging from $15-45 each. I enjoyed the Rose and the Cab Sauv was good too. Service was kind and friendly. Great experience overall!

I like this winery because of its size and ambiance. The property is well.kept and scenic. Their reservation system allows comfort during your visit with room for members and walk ins. The patio which is heated overlooks the Lil grapes growing in peace. The staff is attentive and aims to make ones visit enjoyable. Their understanding of the family business seems to he very good. The details in having your personalized visit ready is another fine touch. The wines also are some.of the better in the valley. This is a great place to enjoy a few hours in a nice relaxing environment away from some of the more hectic spots in the valley. Five stars.

Really beautiful estate. It feels like you're in an elegant living room space with an open backyard garden and view. I love the attention to detail and the fact that the guest name is printed on the tasting guide. The sourdough and pesto dip was a great addition to the tasting and just made our experience more enjoyable. Service was awesome. I lean more towards white wines than red wines, but I really enjoyed the red wines here. Would definitely come back here and recommend it to any travelers coming through Napa Valley!

I've visited a few times and have had Lupita talk us through their wines each visit. Whether you're visiting in the winter time or summer time, this area is beautiful and modern and extremely accommodating staff. The structures are sleek, yet welcoming.

We had such a wonderful tasting experience and Cynthia made it truly memorable. She was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and struck the perfect balance of checking in while also giving us space to relax and enjoy each pour. I appreciated the local recommendations she shared, which added to the whole experience. The wines were fantastic, and I was so impressed that I joined the wine club on the spot. Already looking forward to coming back!

Visited Clos du Val for a last minute wine tasting with my family. We had a lovely experience at this beautiful winery. Thank you to the lovely estate host, Lupita, who ensured we had an amazing experience! We'll definitely come again soon.

Five shining stars for this winery in Napa! Recently opened my bottle of wine from Clos du Val & it brought me back to my day in Napa with one of the best experiences at this winery. This was one out of two stops we had and it blew us out of the water. From the service with an exception tasting by Favian to the grounds to the wine, everything was five stars. The place itself is beautiful and not terribly huge to walk around but quality over quantity, in terms of size, was what I had in mind for this spot. It was the perfect day with perfect weather and ordering wines to ship home was a breeze. I would definitely come back if I ever visit Napa again and now always keep an eye out for Clos du Val wines when I go wine shopping!

One of the classiest wine tasting I've had Great atmosphere Aaron was amazing. We had a great time.

We are locals in Napa, but we never came here. One of the of the best places for wine tasting what a relaxed atmosphere and Aaron was amazing helping us very knowledgeable. The wine out of this world. Try all the Cabernet.

Desiree A.

I had a fantastic experience at Clos du Val. I visited with my family and four small dogs--and I've never been to a winery that showed so much love to our fur babies. Clos du Val truly went above and beyond. We were all treated with such care and warmth. The wine--especially the Rosé--was the best I've tasted. I live in New York and stopped by during a trip back to Napa Valley. I expected a simple tasting, nothing more. But between the friendly staff (shoutout to Lupita!), the welcoming atmosphere, the educational touches, and of course, the incredible wine... I left as a new member.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes, we are dog friendly!

I will be going in the Fall and the person with me is a non drinker. Will he be allowed into the tasting to sit with me?

Absolutely! Just give us a call or email to let us know.

Can we skip the tasting and enjoy a bottle?

I'm pretty sure you can because this is the case at other wineries. They're very welcoming and accommodating at Clos Du Val. Call ahead if you want to be 100% sure.

Is this location dog friendly?

We allow service and support animals indoors, and all other dogs outside on our patio.

What kind of tastings do they have? How much are tastings?

They have actually reconfigured their offerings. Check their website. I believe it shows the new offerings there including picnic lunch!

How much are the tastings?

The Estate tasting is $35 per person and is about 60 minutes. It's done in the tasting bar and you'll taste 4 of the current release wines.… Read more

Quality/Quantity - I had a hard time with the website making my appointment, it's a user issue as I am just not tech savvy. So I called and someone actually answered the phone and made my appointment for me, THANK you! We arrived 15 mins early, so we hung out in the lobby reading all the history, etc. Then Skip took us to the best view overlooking the vineyard for our tasting; see pictures! We sampled almost ALL the reds! All of which were good. See pictures. I like the fact that we did side by side tastings of many of his wines. My favorites were the 2022 Primitivo and 2021 Malbec, which we bought a few bottles of. Ambiance - Secluded private winery. Close to main Downtown Napa, but far enough away for privacy and a feeling of being far away. Appointment only, so very private and customer focused. Typically no more than 3 parties at a time. Today was considered a very busy day as there were 4 parties including us, lol. Gated private estate. 200 acres. Plenty of parking, especially since hosting only 3 guests at a time. Events - See their website. Well behaved dogs are allowed outdoors. Service - Skip is a history buff and we both talked for hours... After leaving, well really the next day (LOL), I realized that our tasting was supposed to be only 60 minutes. I guess because we got along so well, we stayed until closing! And he gave me a glass with a generous splash and let us walk the property alone after they left! So welcoming and trusting. Price - Depends on which tasting and what you buy; see their website for prices. Tastings range from $50 to $100 per person. One free designated driver allowed. Tasting fees waived with wine equivalent purchases. Hike tours $75 per person ($60 for club members). See their website for more information. My husband and I were able to call ahead and schedule a very last-minute tasting, and from the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. I work in the wine industry on the retail side in Texas, while my husband does not, so creating an experience that feels both educational and approachable for both of us is not always easy. Steve absolutely nailed it. He welcomed us warmly, shared thoughtful stories about the wines and the winery, and made the experience feel incredibly personal. The tasting room itself is beautiful and feels like a hidden gem in Napa. We especially loved learning about the wines and the woman winemaker behind Levendi. The tasting was stunning from start to finish. What truly sets Levendi apart, though, is the level of hospitality. Since our visit, I have referred many of my favorite clients to Levendi, and Steve consistently goes above and beyond for them. He bends over backwards to make sure my customers are taken care of, and every single person I've sent has come back raving about their experience. At this point, a trip to Napa would not feel complete without a stop at Levendi. I honestly cannot imagine Napa without Levendi -- or Steve. The views weren't the best (we were drinking on the sidewalk and there's a parklet too.) The 5 wines for $29 was not bad, but the size of the pours was lacking. Our horseback riding reservation was scheduled for 1:00 p.m. We arrived on time with a group of five, but our ride was delayed approximately 30 minutes while staff waited for another reservation--a party of one--that arrived late. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't have minded waiting. However, this was frustrating because during a previous visit, when our group was running late, we called ahead and were told there was absolutely no flexibility. Our ride was completely rescheduled because we were told the 1:00 p.m. ride was the last time slot of the day and they couldn't make other groups wait. It was disappointing to see that policy applied differently when it inconvenienced other guests instead. During the horseback ride itself, there was one staff member leading the group and another following behind. The guide in front shared the history of the winery, but despite riding near the front, I couldn't hear most of what she was saying. If guests are meant to enjoy the educational aspect of the tour, there needs to be a better way for everyone to hear. Additionally, it felt as though much of the staff's attention was focused on the solo rider in our group. They appeared to know her on a first-name basis, and whether they had a prior relationship or were simply trying to make sure she was comfortable, it left the rest of our group feeling overlooked. Unfortunately, the service issues continued during the wine tasting. Before we could begin, our wine consultant insisted that payment had not been made and stated he could not pour any wine until payment was collected. I had already paid in full and ultimately had to log into my bank account and show proof that the transaction had gone through before we could proceed. That was an awkward and unnecessary way to begin the tasting experience. The wines themselves were enjoyable but nothing particularly memorable. At the conclusion, our consultant simply ended the experience without offering a revisit of any of the wines we had tasted--a courtesy that many wineries provide and one we've come to expect during guided tastings. One final disappointment was the lack of any personal touches. I made this reservation months in advance for a birthday celebration and, after reading numerous positive reviews, was excited by the thoughtful details other guests described--such as personalized menus with guests' names at each place setting. Instead, we were given standard menus with no acknowledgment that we were celebrating a special occasion. While this may seem like a small detail, it's those thoughtful touches that often elevate a wine country experience and make guests feel valued. It was disappointing to see that level of hospitality missing, especially after booking so far in advance and reading such glowing reviews The property is beautiful, and the horses were wonderful and appeared well cared for, but the inconsistent customer service, lack of attention to guests, and overall rushed experience left us disappointed. Given the premium price of this experience, I expected much better hospitality and consistency. Unfortunately, I wouldn't choose to return or recommend it based on this visit.
