If you really want the donut, get here early. Arriving 10 minutes after it opened, I was able to get the last donut for my boy who really wanted the donut. They only make limited quantities. Getting here is a journey, located on top of Dream Catcher lift, we had to take a few lift and the gondola to get here. Was it worth it, no, but where can you get fresh donut on top of a mountain? It's the experience. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It does get busy during lunch time. Either get here early or have a late lunch. read more

Although putatively the best restaurant on the mountain, I would say other restaurants on the mountain are also quite delicious and each one has something special. For cloud dine, it's the ambiance. The restaurant is located at the peak, reachable by Dreamscape or dreamcatcher lifts. You get a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains reaching into the blue sky on a clear day, and on a snowy day, blending into the snow. The vista is priceless and breathtaking on the mountain. As for the food, it's really good. We had the pepperoni flatbread with pesto dressing added. Then an orange laden salad which was quite good, and provided the much needed fiber amidst all the meat and fatty food. It was a great combo of platters. Perception may be enhanced by how hungry we were after skiing all morning. On the next day, we came again to the restaurant for their morning donuts. The staff mentioned that they run out of their house-made donuts by 11am so we made sure to arrive early for them freshly made mountain donuts! We got to e white chocolate, glazed, and chocolate donuts, as pictured. They were soooo good, especially with some coffee. Taste may also have been enhanced by the altitude and company I kept. Overall, definitely check it out! Get something to eat and marvel at the views. Don't forget to try the early morning donuts!! Best view! Fun date! I love the weekend donuts! The salmon salad is good and my kids like the chili cheese fries.

What a mess. Went at 1:30pm and the place was packed. No apparent bussing or table cleaning going on, so also a mess. Prices are hilariously inflated - funny until it costs $100 to feed a family of 4 for lunch, and the food isn't even that good. Never seen a hot dog over $20 before! We are used to resort prices and were shocked here. Shared a crunchy Asian salad with my hombre, and it was decidedly average, lacking the tart ginger zing I expected. The chicken attracted no attention - not bad and quite tender, but indistinct. Salads are large enough to share, at least. The $5 cocoa appears to be refillable, at least. Whipped cream hides near the salad area. Also comical: $8 or so for bud light. The principle just disgusts me. Skiing is good here but $26+ for a BURGER is snobby, especially in a cafeteria setting. Cloud Dine is one of Park City's new lounge on top of a mountain. It boasts outdoor seating, yes,, even in the middle of ski/snowboard season, you can eat on the east wing patio. We took our lunch break from carving down sides of cliffs. I had the short rib sandwich and a mountain dew. Cool thing about this spot is that they make everything to order. No pre-made stuff, just prepped items. Meat cooked right when the order is taken and put together as soon as the meat is ready. So a freshly made sandwich leaves the kitchen every time. My sandwich was kinds meh,, although my diet mountain dew was really yummy. Aside from my food being lackluster, it's still a nice place to take a break from the slopes. The staff is very nice. Very approachable, I did ask the gift shop guy for a Philips head screw driver, which they had. So I can correct the settings on my bindings. For that,, this spot can have 4 stars. read more

Just ate here two days in a row while skiing at Canyons! First of all, for those used to normal on-mountain dining and prices, this place is similar, but add 20 to 30 percent in price. You still grab a tray and pick your food station, but here the food is much better tasting than most ski spots. The presentation is also top notch. If you order a salad, you may be surprised how long it takes to get the darn thing... The reason why it's taking a minute is because the man behind the counter is an artist, and he's putting together something beautiful for you! Want a pizza? The best on mountain dining I've experienced at any Vail Resorts property. This place is amazingly memorable, from the complimentary infused waters, to the amazing Wagyu Beef Hot Dog wrapped in fresh pretzel dough, and the kimchi sliders, and the Italian pizzas, oh and the fresh baked super soft cookies, all surrounded in floor to ceiling windows with panoramic views. As far as resort lodge food goes, this stop is legit! Service with a smile from energetic and friendly young staff. Sirius classic rock station pumping inside with a modern and European cafeteria vibe. The Rachel (hot turkey with slaw and russian dressing in toasted rye) was superb. Fresh carved turkey, perfect acidity from the slaw and just the right toast on the bread. Fries are freh cut and tossed in a nice seasoning, dont wven need ketchup or vinegar. Butternut squash soup was creamy and smooth, could maybe use a hit of nutmeg Pizza's are fired in a brick oven (gas burning) and come out with a thin frispy crust with juat the right amount of char. The pesto was bright and herby. The pepperoni was a better choice for me with nice thick cuts of a spicey pepperoni and a mellow red sauce. Espresso machine behind the counter, plenty of options for other hot drinks, bottled drinks, or beer (both bottled and ontap). 5 star cafeteria food, but for a mountaintop lodge, i want alot more space, a fireplace inside and more outdoor seating, so 3.5 for facilities giving a 4 star overall. Cloud Dine is a "fine dining" mountain establishment, meaning it's a step above your usual lodge food (e.g. hamburgers, chicken fingers, etc). Located at the top of the Dreamscape lift, it's a great alternative to the Red Pine Lodge if you happen to be on The Colony's side of the mountain. You'll find here things like (1) Grilled Utah Trout, (2) Grilled Flank Steak Salad. More or less, fancier ski lodge food and a corresponding 20-25% premium. Note that there is a really nice water fountain here - so if you have bottles in your backpack and you need to refill, this is the place to do it (free). Nice meaning good flow, cold, crisp taste. Something a bit fancier (and way more expensive) than Sun Lodge for a mountain lunch. It's fast-serve--walkup and tray it back to the table. A mediocre burger and a soda here racked up $32 for my son who only wanted a plain burger (not all the fancy stuff). The next day we went to Lookout Cabin for a very nice sit-down table service lunch with cocktails, and had the Wagyu burger, which was $27 and absolutely worth it. Super location on top of slope. Great place for family meetup while skiing Park City I'd recommend getting in right before rush at 11:30 am so you can get a table. Fries are super. There are not a lot of choices here and even less if you are vegetarian! The only thing I could see was the vegetarian chili - which I was not in the mood for. I went over to see what the Chef's flatbread special was and the chef was so very nice and friendly. When I explained that I was vegetarian he offered to leave the meat off of the special for me. So I ordered it, and was so happy I did. It was delicious! This place is very expensive so beware - the flatbread was $19.25 and a cup of coffee is $4.95!! But honestly, ski resorts are notorious for outrageous prices for slope dining. I really enjoyed the flatbread will keep in mind that this place is not great for vegetarians! read more

We love to eat at Cloud Dine at the top of the Dreamscape and Dreamcatcher lifts at Canyons. We ski there in March and the weather is always temperate for enjoying a great lunch outdoors. It may seemricey but is actually in line with other non resort Park City restaurants and the food is better. Also, free water is easily accessible if you forget to bring your Camelbak for skiing. He best deal is the chili, vegetarian or not, at $8.95 for a bowl plus plenty of self serve chees, scallions, crackers and sour cream. If you want to spend more, you can get a fesh baked pizza for $15.95 and a very tasty manicotti for the same price. There are salads as well a several sandwiches and a wide drink and beer selection. We love eating outside in the sun and enjoying the classic rock music that seems to permeate Park City. I told my kids that the music is aimed at the demographic who is actually paying for the family to ski. Lol. read more

This place is an amazing on-the-mountain restaurant! Yes, it is a tad pricey, but when you get a huge filet of salmon on a baguette with various toppings for a fish sandwich, it is worth it. The brick oven pizzas were tasty too and worth the wait. This isn't your average pub/grill type restaurant on the ski slopes with chicken fingers and hamburgers. This place is on the smaller side and can get very busy during lunch time, which is understandable, especially during peak ski season. The only reason Cloud Dine lost a star is because it took almost 25 minutes waiting in line and to get our food, but we knew it was fresh! I do recommend eating here for lunch, just make sure to time it well. read more

Holy insanity, Batman! This place gets PACKED. After a solid morning on the slopes, I popped into Cloud Dine around 1pm and could not find a single seat. The line for food was averaging 30 minutes per patron, and you couldn't even get to the register to grab a soda or snack. The bathroom line was just as bad, and in desperate need of a cleaning. There were lots of employees milling about, trying to control the madness, but it was a lost cause. Hopefully the crowds thin out over the course of the season, otherwise I will not be returning! read more

Overpriced but worse it was just horrible.... The food was expensive. I paid $25 for Russian Ruben which was recommended by the staff. I couldn't have been more dissatisfied. They gave me a large serving but the meat was dry as cardboard. You would think this impossible considering all the liquid it was dipped in before plating. I tried to eat it but just couldn't do it. I ended up tossing it. I should have requested a refund it was just horrible. I honestly can't think of a worse experience. Years of hitting the slopes I have come to expect crowds and overpriced goods and services but the quality is usually above average so I can rationalize it. I suggest there are far better values to be had in the area. It will be some time before I visit here again. read more

Food was amazing but I think I left there in debt. Minimal seating and could not really fit my family of five anywhere. The chili was the only item that was reasonably priced.
