There is no law in Utah or any federal law in the USA that states it's illegal to bring an outside drink into a restaurant. All she had to do is say "I apologize but we prefer no outside drinks in this restaurant, may you please place it under the table" and everything would've been fine. Nope she wanted to try an intimidate me. Maybe she's prejudice towards Latinos. It is Utah but who knows? The food was great, the Latina waitress was nice too. When I got the check, I used my business card to pay, I just paid off the balance on the card on Friday but it was Saturday & the payment didn't clear yet. Not knowing this the card declined. No big deal... But instead of my waitress coming to my table to inform me my card declined, it was Pipi Longstocking (White woman, curly red hair) again... Letting everyone sitting around us know my card declined. I used my Business Amex Platinum this time and that was that. I really enjoyed my dinner with my wife.
