Cloud Naan was a 10/10 experience! It was our first time trying Pakistani cuisine and this was the perfect place to get our introduction. The interior is decorated in such a fun and inviting way, with little touches of outdoor Pakistani design. My favorite were the colorful umbrellas on the ceiling and little wicker stools around the restaurant When you arrive, you can order from their digital kiosk for dine in and take away My aunt and I got their signature Pakistani dishes beef haleem and chicken karahi...the latter being our favorite. And we didn't skip out on the carbs...we ordered garlic naan, beef naan, plain naan and paratha. All we're stellar The staff is extremely lovely! The owner came up to every table to welcome us and our server Tanya was so kind and attentive We will definitely be back to try more of their dishes soon!

We were really excited to come here after seeing the reviews and craving food with South Asian flavors. The food itself is definitely carrying the review. Food: 5/5. Absolutely delicious butter chicken, garlic naan, and chicken tikka. They are not shy with the spices--each dish was PACKED with flavor. The butter chicken has just the right amount kick, the chicken was delicious and tender, and was a huge portion. The naan was the perfect texture, large serving, and wonderfully buttery. The chicken tikka was pretty spicy, but tolerable, and tender as can be. The servicing size of this specifically I thought was a little small for the price, but we accidentally ordered so much food that it didn't matter lol. Mango lassi was a delicious sweet pairing to counter the heat. Excellent consistency, super refreshing. We came on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. There were 2-3 parties aside from us. I didn't really enjoy ordering from the kiosk, I prefer speaking to a server about the food and getting their insight on certain things. You do have to pay before you get the food, and if you're including a tip you add that before ever getting served (if paying my card). Felt a little backwards. Service: 3/5 and that's being generous. I will give grace because it looked like there was only one person serving the whole restaurant. But silverware and plates weren't set (eventually they brought us some in a stack and we had to distribute it to ourselves), we had to grab our own drinks from the fridge (they didn't tell us, so we sat there for 20 min before realizing). And we weren't checked on except for when they brought something out. And the food, although outstanding, took about 40 min to arrive the table. That's a long time for any restaurant. I don't know how many chefs there were, maybe they were swamped with takeout but there was only a couple other people in the restaurant. Maybe it was just an off day. Decor: Outside looks rough, but inside is nicely decorated. A hidden gem as some say. NO air conditioning though, he warned. It was pretty warm but they had fans going so we tolerated it, but barely. All in all, give it a shot if you want some delicious food! Would come back again, for sure. The food itself was worth it. Great meal and plenty left over for later!

The Vibe: A colorful, fast-casual hidden gem with unique seating options, including platforms for sitting cross-legged. Easy side street parking and the service was quick since it's a self order kiosk then they bring the food out to you The Standouts: Massive portions for all the dishes.The Chicken Tikka and Naan are fantastic. The Biryani is enough for two meals. Elite Tips: The staff is incredibly kind; they even brought out free appetizers while we waited. Expect a 15-20 minute wait for food because everything is fresh.

I have been seeing Cloud Naan on my Yelp whenever i''m looking for somewhere local to eat and it caught my eye because i've never seen it before. I came for dinner and wow!! Everything was so yummy. I also got a Mango Lassi to top it off :) You order at the self-order kiosk, grab a table, and they bring the food out to you. The staff is so sweet and checks up on you to see how you are liking the food. I highly recommend coming to try Cloud Naan if you're in Carson or nearby!

Today I had lunch at this hidden gem in Carson. It's a Pakistani restaurant specializing in BBQ. I had the mutton combo which came with a huge naan bread and salad, and some samosas. The food was delicious and had a little spicy kick. The naan was delicious as were the samosas. It's nothing fancy and there was ample seating in a colorfully decorated restaurant. I think they mainly have a lot of take out and deliveries as I was dining alone at lunchtime. I would love it if they ever had a buffet which would introduce people to their various menu items or a combination with different offerings. The service was friendly and they refilled my chai tea which was complimentary. I'll be back to try the other barbecue items.

We were looking for something different to eat and came across a review of Cloud Naan. We decided to try it and we're we blown away. Everything was delicious!!! The food was perfectly seasoned with plenty of heat. The Butter Chicken was so good!! And the BBQ!! Yep!!!To calm the heat a delicious Mango lassi was served. The Garlic naan was huge and delicious and let's not forget the sauces. This place is a must.If you're in Carson, come try some Pakistani food. We're doing fine on Cloud Naan!!!! Oh by the way that picture was after we devoured almost everything!!!

Called to place an order for carry out and they played in my face. Butter chicken should have been $20 each but they charged me almost $28 per !!! AND WHAT IS THAT SERVICE CHARGE, I literally picked up my own food. I used to come all the time but I'm never coming back, robbed me in broad daylight. So sad. Update: The owner reached out to me privately to rectify the situation. He apologized and made it right; I was inappropriately charged. I've updated my review based off his timely response. I will be back because the food is amazing and service is always great. Final update when I return !!

Cloud Naan was a spot I heard about from a coworker, so a few of us decided to check it out for lunch and it did not disappoint. We ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan and rice, and the portions were huge. Honestly, two orders were enough to feed our group of seven. The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, and pairing it with the garlic naan made it even better. The naan was so good that it disappeared fast -- definitely recommend getting at least one per person if you're a fan. Ordering was simple through a kiosk, and the food was brought out to our table pretty quickly. The service stood out too, the staff was really friendly and even offered us chai while we waited, which was a nice touch and made the experience feel more welcoming. The ambiance was great as well. The space is nicely decorated and has a warm, inviting feel that makes it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. Overall, this is a great lunch spot, especially for groups since the portions are so generous. I'd definitely come back again.

Interior is pretty and the server is nice :) The Chicken biryani is pretty good. It's a little bit pricier compared to other Indian food places but I totally recommend if you want to splurge a little for delicious food and a great aesthetic.

Very flavorful! I'm a sucker for restaurants that offer a warm, cozy vibe while staying open late and Cloud Naan delivers. So the service is a bit DIY; you walk in and there's a huge digital screen where you place your order. After that, it's self-seating. So, it's a mixture of a restaurant and fast-casual. For example, you receive your food on metal bowls/plates but then your utensils and cups are disposable. If they elevate the experience a bit to offer metal forks and ceramic cups, I think it'd make everything just a bit nicer. Anyways, I think first-timers should order from the Combo section. We ordered the butter chicken combo and the mutton karahi combo and I believe it's enough to feed roughly 3 people. For the value you get, that's pretty darn good IMO ($15 + $19 by themselves, but we added on the kashimiri tea and garlic naan). The mutton karahi was AMAZING. I've never had this Pakistani dish, but oh my goodness. Super flavorful and tender meat. My biggest gripe is that there's bones--which isn't unexpected, but there were some instances where some bones were broken off and made tiny little shards. Definitely be a bit more careful when eating this. The butter chicken was also great; just as you'd expect as other spots that serve this. The salad was perfectly seasoned and everything wasn't too spicy. I loved the ambiance; there's a few low tables and a few regular-height benches. The entire place is decorated really well and it makes the place feel more vibey. There's even a Carrom table, which was being played by another party. Next time I'd definitely want to try playing it! Overall, I'd definitely come back. The food tasted so good and I want to try more of the menu.

HANDS DOWN SOME OF THE BEST BUTTER CHICKEN IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Came here with some coworkers for lunch. You order through a kiosk and pick your own seat. The server offered us complimentary chai which was quite delicious. I heard they used to have self serve water, but there was none this time which was a bummer. My group had a total of 7 people. We ordered 2 butter chickens, 2 rices, and 7 pieces of the garlic naan. When the rice and butter chicken came out I was a bit worried it wouldn't be enough food for all of us because we were all starving and some of us were big eaters, but when the garlic naan came out it snuffed out all my problems. The garlic naan was so big, it was bigger than my face. We were so excited for the naan I forgot to take a picture! The garlic naan was delectable and I'm so glad we got one for each person, 10/10. The butter chicken was sooooooo delicious. The chicken was very tender and the sauce was amazing with the rice and naan. The meal also came with 2 sauces. A mint one, a spicy red one, and a black one that kind of tasted like tamarind? I really enjoyed the red sauce with the butter chicken, gave it a nice kick. The portion was also great for $26! 10/10, would come here over and over again just for the butter chicken. The parking lot is very small, but there was a side street that you can park on.

10 STARS! We are from Sacramento, after trying this place today we will forever be stopping by to eat here when on Vacation in LA! I don't think I'll be able to eat Indian food anywhere else and not compare it to today's experience! Don't be fooled by the outside appearance of the restaurant. ONLY go there if u KNOW the old man(probably the owner). He was making sure that the people he knows get the food first even after coming later than us. Personally going to a few tables nad checking on them. Very unprofessional. We had to wait 1 hour and 15 mins for our food and it came in parts. We got one part of order and had almost finished it when we got the second part. It was good but not worth the wait. The ambiance is good...looks beautiful once you enter. Yet another new Indian food place! First thing I want to say is the inside is beautiful and I regret not dining in but will on my next visit. It's got a cozy ambiance with a cute deco design that screams authentic Indian food. Service was very nice and we were offered tea while we waited for our takeout. It was tasty and will be replacing my lassi with this tea from now on. I would seriously drive here just for the tea actually lol. Lastly food lived up to the visually appealing setup of the place. Best samosa I've had in a while. Crunchy on the outside while soft on the inside and not overly stuffed, which is how I like it. The kabob was good, but my favorite was the cheese naan and vegetable. I was worried when I saw it was greens but they were flavorful and beautifully spiced. Trust me, get the cheese naan and put some of those greens on top and bite, delicious. I was stoked to find out a new Indian restaurant had opened up in Carson not to mention a few minutes from my residence so I had to go give it a try. I have lived in LA since 2009 and now for 16 years have been on the hunt for great Indian food. Indian restaurants are a dime a dozen in Southern California but GREAT Indian food is rare and hard to find. I've been to numerous places across the city hyped up by social media (like Mayura) and have been let down every single time. Having said that this is the BEST INDIAN FOOD that I've had in all of the South Bay Area. The only places I've been to that are better have been Michelin starred or more higher end (expensive) establishments across Los Angeles. I placed an order for takeout and the first thing we noticed when we walked in is the decor. The entire restaurant is vibrant and full of color and set up to look like a tea stand or Dhaba. When we walked in our food wasn't ready yet so they offered us complimentary tea while we waited. The tea was fantastic and even came with a little appetizer type snack of masala seasoned crisps. I left the waitress a generous tip for the tea and excellent service. I ordered: Butter Chicken - Fantastic! A problem with most Indian restaurants is the food is extremely bland with minimal spice and flavor. This curry was made authentic to the original dish. Samosas - Came with two dipping sauce, the typical green chutney but also with another red chutney that was pretty good. Normally it's given with tamarind sauce but the other sauce was still good and the potatoes inside were also seasoned. Jalapeño cheese naan - Now this is obviously not an authentic Indian item but it caught my eye and I had to order it. Imagine if a jalapeño popper and garlic naan had a spicy and cheesy baby. Needless to say I will be returning to try the other menu items like the chicken biryani that also looked good. Hopefully this hidden gem in Carson lasts but they have me as a regular for sure. read more

My dad and I stopped by this place on our way to the airport (dad's flying to homeland!) He was hungry so made this quick pitstop... and we have never been tried this place before.. We got the samosa and the harra tikka, and both were really good... What I really appreciated was their service, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Food also was so good that I'm definitely stopping by on my way home to try some of their other dishes! read more

Our relative introduced me about Cloud Naan, so today our family try to look something new so we decide to try it. First we like Ambiance, it's different very traditional they have Carom board we played little bit we order Food that taste is great we like kabobs, and sheikh kabobs with garlic and plain both Nan are amazing. For the price I expected some salt on my buttered chicken and bigger pieces of chicken. My daughter who is a kid was ok with the food, but she didn't pay, lol. I must say the garlic Naan is delicious. If I go back I will order lots of the Naan. Decor was pretty cool. read more

My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new place and went here. The food was delicious and the serving sizes were big. The chicken was nice and tender. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm smell of incense, which really set the mood. The restaurant has cute decor and some cultural seating arrangements that made the dining experience feel authentic and inviting. The food was solid across the board. The rice was fluffy and plentiful, the butter chicken was flavorful and rich, and the BBQ chicken selections were especially tasty. The portions were generous, and for the amount of food you get, the pricing felt fair. There was only one waitress working the whole dining room during my visit, so things moved a little slow. That said, she was kind and attentive once she made it to our table. Overall, really enjoyed my visit. This spot offers good food at good value, and I'd definitely come back again. read more

First time at Cloud Naan and I will absolutely be coming back. They have great food, fantastic ambience, excellent service, and fun games! Very convenient in that you can order at a kiosk as soon as you enter and sit wherever you like. They also have a game of carrom available for you to play! For food, we had the butter chicken, chicken tikka, chicken karahi, chapli kabob, naan, and chai. Everything is so well done and the owner is very kind. Finally this place opened back up! This is my favorite Indian in SoCal and probably the most unique I've ever experienced. The atmosphere is different as soon as you walk in with beautiful, colorful and traditional interior decor. The food portions were large, 1 curry can feed 2 people. The food is authentic and not too spicy like some places. Service is also wonderful. They give complimentary tea before and after the meal. I believe it's a family owned restaurant and they also make you feel like family while your their, very welcoming. It will be the only Indian spot I go to in LA area. Price is also very reasonable for the location. read more

As a business owner myself, I understand that customer service is one of the biggest drivers of customer retention. Great products can bring people in once, but great service brings them back. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on both. The good news? These issues are fixable. A little more warmth, engagement, and hospitality would go a long way. You can tell that a lot of care goes into every dish. The restaurant has a unique setup where you order and pay at a kiosk when you arrive, and your food is brought out to your table. There aren't a lot of employees walking around, but honestly, it isn't necessary. The service was still great, and everything ran smoothly. The restaurant has a charming dabba-style setup and is impressively clean. The food is fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. While the menu is limited, every dish is cooked to perfection.
