Was walking around the Prudential Center wanting to try out a new place to dine. I passed this place several times but it was closed but I finally had an opportunity to check it out. I ordered the ginger lemonade as my beverage. For my entree I ordered the Bridgewater sandwich ( crimini mushrooms, honey, siracha, kale , red onions, chipotle vinegrette, jalapeño cream cheese inside pita bread ) and for side the Falafel Skewers, hummus and green tahini. WOW!! The Bridgewater sandwich was hearty and delicious. My refreshment ginger lemonade was flavorful and I saved the falafel skewers for later. They were good. I would definitely order the Bridgewater sandwich again and the ginger lemonade.

This business creates a cup of java the old-fashioned way. Instead of pouring a cup of coffee from a container of freshly brewed coffee, they individually take a cup and individually pour hot water over a filter that contains your mixed coffee beans. This takes time but you will not be disappointed. This drink was very smooth, not bitter and I was really pleased with the results. You will not find sleeves for the very hot paper cup. Ask for another paper cup and use this as your barrier to the hot coffee.

-based food, quality ingredients, seasonal menu. This is where I ate every day while attending a large conference. My only suggestion to the owners would be to have better signage, including a QR code for customers to be able to order online. One of the days I went, there was only one worker and she was not accepting food orders. She told us we had to order online. I asked how to do that and she said just Google it. I get it, running the entire restaurant was a substantial undertaking for her. However, I was a bit baffled at the lack of direction. Several customers just went elsewhere. Once I had ordered online, my future visits were much simpler and streamlined, allowing me to sit down and wait for my food while everyone else stood in line to order. There just needs to be better signage, and perhaps scripting that the staff can use.

Ingredients are super fresh and tasty. I LOVE the pressed juices, they are a bit up there in price but the bottles are reusuables and a good size. You can also have juices pressed to order which come out tasting so so good. The menu is expanssivee. So far, I am a huge fan of the pita, hummus, labneh, anything with meat (smash burgers and brisket breakfast sando), and they have pretty decent mac. I'm excited to continue eating my way through their options. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. The restaurant is bright and bubbling. The servers are very kind and always helpful with menu questions. It can get quite busy but service moves quick. I have ordered ahead and ordered in person and never had an issue. If you are in a rush around lunch definitely do yourself a favor and order ahead. If you have time, the wait is never usually more than 10-15 mins and goes by quick. As a bonus, I had the (mis)fortune of trying one of the hot chocolates we ordered for the kids - and their review "dad, this kind of taste like foam without sugar" was spot on. You can literally see three other coffee shops from the front door of this place - choose one of them. Now, all of that being said, they have somehow managed to generate a loyal following. I went in around 1PM and the place was literally PACKED! Not sure what the 100+ people there were having - but they were camped out, laptops in hand, having extended social hours with cups in front of them. Maybe it's the ambiance, maybe the wifi is ridiculously fast, maybe the food is better....not sure - but there is absolutely no way these people were there for the coffee (or hot chocolate).

She was so excited when she found Cafe Bonjour because they had several gluten-free options on the menu. We took an Uber there right after we landed and were able to walk right in and get a table when they opened, which worked out perfectly because the place started to fill up! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the gluten-free eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I had the Bonjour omelet, and it was delicious. Overall, this is a fantastic breakfast spot with great food, a fun atmosphere, and solid gluten-free options.

However, it's close to Boston Common and the public garden so there's things to do to while you wait. The owner and staff are super nice and friendly. They're cognizant that people wait a long time to eat at their establishment and treat you with kindness when you're inside. It is very cramped and the tables are close together, but the rustic feeling makes it a great place to catch up with 1 or 2 friends. There's a wide variety of breakfast/brunch items, so there's something on the menu for everyone. The kitchen also is good about substitutions. Additionally, the portions are reasonable for the price, especially for the area. Most entrees come with a salad, which was a fun surprise. I got the Signature Scramble and liked the variety in the dish. The eggs did have caramelized onions, which I picked out, but there was a good amount of sauce and flavor on the plate. This place has been on my Boston brunch bucket list, so I'm glad that I've gone. I'd recommend this place to people who appreciate a good meal, but wouldn't take people who are impatient or claustrophobic.

It is the cutest place ever, from their squirrel mascot, to the fireplace on each floor, to the windows on each end of the rooms that lit the rooms with sunlight, it truly had such a relaxing vibe. I loved the decor and how they converted the house into 4 stories of epic cuteness galore! Each floor had different genres of books, with the top floor (5th) housing the staff only area. The 4th floor has the children's/young adult books and I love how there are so many fun elements there, from the train that goes around the top by the ceiling, to the small red door that I think it just there for decoration? Unless it leads to some magical other part of the building... lol The ground level has a cafe and offers typical cafe food like sandwiches, soups and salads, but I think their specialty is breakfast/brunch items as well as afternoon tea. We wanted to sit down and enjoy a warm drink after our book browsing and were lucky that we were able to get seated right away, as shortly after there were larger parties coming in for brunch. Two bathrooms too on this floor and the bottom floor.
