I was informed of the cancellation policy as well and the staff was helpful and friendly over the phone. This put my mind at ease after being previously anxious to try waxing at a spa that I'd never visited. I had such a wonderful experience during my first appointment. My esthetician, Rory Exton, was kind, genuine, and welcoming and put my mind at ease, especially after I detailed my past not-so-great waxing experience at a different facility. Throughout my appointment, she led me through the process and gave me tips and tricks for lessening pain (which worked) and for aftercare. She made me feel right at home and truly safe and the entire staff was just as kind and welcoming as she was. I love my treatments with Taylor at CWM spa. She is professional and pleasant, and extremely accommodating. I get laser hair removal, and the machine they use WORKS! I have dark, coarse hair, so some treatments I've had in the past were only so-so. I've been coming here for several Years now. Dr. West is very sweet and personable and easy to talk to. She's also a gynecologist with that practice in the same building. Ok, I was there this week scheduled for a Vibaderm appointment, which happened to be 1/2 off the regular price this week, and was talked into a more expensive treatment! Shame on you all. I was told one add on from last time was going to be free then I was told then had to charge me. Not good business ethics I won't ever be going back nor will I recommend this salon to anyone. I love my aesthetician Melissa! I've been going to her for the past few years for facials, peels, and waxing. She always makes me feel and look my very best and I leave her room feeling so relaxed. She has the magic touch! I would highly recommend her! Melissa also knows her skin products. The Spa is beautiful and relaxing and the staff is always friendly (Tara and Taylor are always there to greet you with a smile). Now they offer cool sculpting which I hear is a safer method than liposuction. One of these days I may want to try it. I started coming to Club West 2 years ago and they just keep getting better and better. As soon as I walk in I'm always greeted warmly and attended-to professionally. The best mani/pedis I've ever had (Tonya) and the skincare services are amazing. The esthetician (I see Marcie) is knowledgable and very in tune with her clients' individual skincare needs. I had a treatment done today that I'm hoping will make me feel more confident. It all started out awesome and the girl doing my procedure was very accommodating. It wasn't until the end when I walked out of my room to pay when things went down south. I saw the girl and the front desk girl talking about the same body part I just had worked on. Obviously pointing to my problem area on her own arm. Is it just a coincidence or were they talking about me? I honestly don't know but I do know it made me feel uncomfortable and they also seemed uncomfortable when I walked out and saw them clearly talking about what I just had treated. I spent a lot of money in the spa today and I feel totally let down. Even if they truly were looking at their own trouble areas I would suggest doing it in an area where your clients can't see it. It can be taken in the wrong way and make your clients feel self conscious and ruin their visit. If they were talking about me then shame on them. I really loved this place when I first came in but not sure I will go forward with anymore treatment. read more

I read previous reviews...staff is different than what has been said before. Maybe they go tripod the rude staff member. I wasn't pushed into using anything I didn't want. It's a spa...and granted all pricey..but what spa isn't! I went in for a free consultation for a chemical peel. Place is very clean and smelled amazing! (essential oils) Staff was super nice. I ended up getting my peel the same day...and have loved the results so far! Going back for my second peel in a couple weeks! Would highly recommend! read more

I find it strange that all of the higher rated reviews are not "recommended" and therefore not factored in the overall rating. Supposedly there is an algorithm that determines whose opinion is valid for Yelp reviews. In my previous review, I cited services performed, staff, proficiency, professionalism and results. All with the highest or recommendations, 5 stars. Yet, a misspelled, grammatically incorrect , inflammatory review, that was likely fabricated based on the business owner's response, remains to be "recommended." How am I to rely on Yelp as anything other than a forum for those with an axe to grind when there is such disparity in the recommended negative reviews versus the positive, even glowing, reviews that are deemed not recommended? What a shame that this reputable, honest, results driven business is unfairly represented on a site designed to steer consumers in the direction of the best of the best. read more

The only reason I am ranking this Spa 3 stars is because of the chronic issues I have had at the time of reconciling my account. On 3 of the 5 visits I have had, there have been overcharges in excess of 25 USD on these occasions. Granted, it has been a result of current promotions and the system not reflecting the revised pricing, but I feel that there should be some general awareness of the promotions so that the final bill should not be a point of discussion, which in and of itself makes for a sour/awkward note on an otherwise delightful experience. read more

I have had facials at different places in the past. Before yesterday's visit at Club West, I had a facial done at a different salon in which I would equate it to a new form of interrogation. Maybe my pores were so clogged which caused the 45 minutes of extracting dirt and oil from all the way back to 2002, but I feel sticking a finger inside my nostril without asking permission was the straw that broke the camel's back. After this facial, I was afraid to receive another interrogation because I do have secrets I wish to keep to myself. I decided to try again with a facial at Club West Med Spa because if I was going to divulge all the skeletons in my closet, I feel Dr. West would not judge. I called, and Melissa had a 1 PM available. I then blew my nose and checked in the mirror to make sure all was clear and listened to a CD of monks singing Gregorian Chant to Zen my mind before I went under the spotlight for pore and secret extractions. I was in for a surprise with Melissa! Not only did she keep my nostrils sacred but the extraction process was as painless as she could make it. The tears were not streaming out of my eyes nor did I feel the need to bribe my way out of the extraction process. Afterward, the massage of shoulders and neck was heavenly. Usually, I feel like a massage after an extraction process is an aesthetician's way of saying, "This hurt me more than it hurt you. Now let me rub your shoulders as you cry." This was not the case at all with Melissa. I sincerely thought I was going to fall asleep. I made another appointment for next month. Highly recommend the Club West Facial. read more

My husband surprised me by booking (and paying in advance for) a wonderful 1 hour massage. I came into town, and went for my appointment, only to be told that I didn't haven an appointment for this day! In their searching, they found me on the schedule for a few weeks out...for a date that we would have never booked because we won't even be in town that day! I was only going to be in the area for two days, and had been looking forward to this day of relaxing after weeks of stress...VERY disappointed in the mistake, the way it was handled, and will not be going back!!!! This place was selected upon the recommendation of a family member, but I won't be suggesting it to anyone. Our entire day was booked around this appointment, so I can't even go anywhere else.
