I don't write reviews, but this place was amazing and deserving of it. I stopped by on my way back from the airport. As my first proper, non "fast-food" styled Nashville hot chicken, I was surprised the sheer quality of the food. Cluck & Blaze uses halal chicken, enabling it to be some of the most quality chicken I have tasted from a chicken shop. The sauce was quite good with the food, and the pickles were the top-spec you'd expect with this style of food. The person at the cash register was kind enough to allow us to try samples of the spice levels, which aided my group to pinpointing exactly the spice level we wanted. The extra hot I tried was quite good, but for this review, I tried hot just to start off. The taste of the spices created for a really quality Nashville hot chicken experience, and the crinkle-cut fries were much better than those average fast food fries. We also ordered a Mac and cheese, which was also good. Coming off of strictly fast-food styled hot chicken, this was definitely a bit of a heavier meal, but it was very quality. This is definitely a much more authentic Nashville hot chicken meal than something like Dave's Hot Chicken. Inside, the theming was quite nice, with their walls in line with that "hot chicken" look. It wasn't too crowded inside, but this place definitely deserves some more recognition. I definitely recommend stopping by to any spice lover out there. read more

3.5 Stars. The food is good but I had to lower my rating because of the serious delay in wait time. When I ordered in store I was told the wait would be about 30 minutes (I guess the online orders were backed up). But when I went back after more than half an hour had passed to check on my order and go, I was told my food was still in the queue and it would be at least another 10 minutes. I ordered the 3 tenders that came with a piece of bread and we also got the main chick meal. The tenders were huge, I could only eat 2 and was stuffed! I can't do spicy so I got no heat but there's a little kick in the comeback sauce that was really nice with the chicken. The bread is described as Texas toast, I'd call it a piece of white bread which I'm assuming would help when there's actually spicy food in your box. This is more like a 3.5 star review, decided to come here because my eight year old foodie saw it when we drove by and wanted to try out a good chicken spot as he said. We came pretty early in the morning so there was no line and the girl working was friendly and made some suggestions but soon as it was our first time here. We picked up two different sandwiches, one being the main piece and one being the side piece the smaller of the two for my son. We also got some tots and some Mac with those too. Now onto the food part, the sandwiches were both pretty good and the tots well there tots not much to them lol .. we opted to go with the lower spice level because the girl let me try the seasoning and even the mild was pretty hot so I decided to go one level down, my only reason for the 3.5 is the price all in all I think my meal cost me $28 for two sandwiches and an order of tots no drinks. Makes me sad to write this review, but I've been coming here for 3 years, and sadly I think this will be my last visit. I ordered the side chick, the cluck'n Mac and the cluck'n fries, all of them HOT, the spice was was mild at best, I really considered getting the extra hot since the spice hasn't been the same the last few visits. I went from ordering Medium 3 years ago and it being spicy enough, to ordering Hot because the medium wasn't cutting it for me anymore, and now the Hot isn't cutting it either. The overall taste was pretty bland too, especially the Mac, they also don't put enough coleslaw on the burger anymore either. I'm just overall disappointed since I loved this place so much. I'm on a mission to try allll the Nashville hot chickens. Cluck & Blaze seems pretty popular as there were TONS of people standing around outside waiting for their orders. Props to them since they just opened less than a year ago! Even though we took ours to-go, the chicken was still nice and crispy by the time we got home. I will say that the spicy levels were notably milder compared to places like Firebird and Howlin' Rays, so level up if you guys are spicy fans like me. I've seen other reviews that say the spicy level is HOTTER than other places, though, so to each their own. We got The Main Chick (sandwich) and Tenders, and both were pretty good. People have said their chicken is juicy/tender, but I honestly think it's soft because the chickens they use are full of hormones and never got to run around. It's fine, because most places use this type of chicken, but just a PSA. I'd still come back to try some of their other menu items like the breakfast burritos and loaded fries. I just wish their sauces were free, because 50 cents per sauce is not the business and you definitely need more than one sauce for those giant tenders. Heads up, it might be hard to find parking since this place is on a street with a bunch of other food places, so give yourself some time to park. TIP: Since it's either take-out or delivery only during the pandemic, order directly from their website or just call. Yelp's markup is between 50 cents (comeback sauce) to $15 (flock meal) more PER ITEM. These fees are ridiculous and cut into both the consumer's wallet and the business's bottom line. The packaging was organized, and the delivery was spot on. Food - Wow, what great hot chicken and sides. Everything we tried was very tasty, crisp, good heat, and exceeded my expectations. Their breakfast burrito was our party's favorite...followed closely by the Main Chick sandwich. We tried the Hot, Medium, and No Heat tenders. We all agreed that the Hot was Hot! and yes, burned us twice...if you know what I mean. However, not too Hot to enjoy. Oh also, everyone enjoyed C&B's Comeback Sauce. Not too sweet with a good kick. She presented our food with a smile and courtesy. My wife asked for extra sauce, and she said " don't worry I got you". At the end of the meal, I asked for box to go and cup of ice water. I've ordered from cluck & blaze a couple of times and their hot chicken has always been good. The chicken is both juicy and crunchy. The buns compliment the chicken and the heat they bring has a nice flavor to it. But I just had their hot chicken breakfast burrito and it was amazing! I ordered the main chick which is a Nashville style hot chicken sandwich and it's similar to Howlin Rays in LA. I chose the hot level and it was really good but really spicy for me. The spice level I chose made me sweat and my mouth burn which made it hard for me to eat the sandwich, so I'll downgrade and get the medium level next time. I also ordered a lemonade and it was good but it was almost $3 and the cup was pretty small. Perfect service. That's the first thing I think of. As soon as I walked in I was greeted, I didn't even know where to walk yet. Made me feel good right away to have some explain the flavors and the menu without me asking. This was our first time here. One of the staff complemented my hair so that was sweet. The other staff, the one explaining the menu was incredibly helpful. She had a white hat on, and a pink mask. I'm not sure of her name. But she's definitely a keeper she had great suggestions. She even remembered my name when I only gave it once and she pronounced it correctly (which is rare). So extra points for her. All the staff have hats on their heads, gloves and masks.
