Their coleslaw wasn't bad because it compliments their other food just like the bread and fries that comes with the 3 piece tenders. What I really loved was their Mac & Cheese Sando, mannnnnn! Legend Hot Chicken at one point used to have great flavored chicken, but this location dropped the ball. It's been a couple of years since I had it & I honestly don't know what had happened. Last night, my husband was craving wings. I had placed an order through DoorDash for a pickup. I put in an order for 12 pcs of chicken wings w/ medium spice level & a side of thousand island & ranch on the side for the price of $29. Arriving home, upon opening the to-go box, my husband was disappointed in how the chicken looked like. First off, we ordered chicken wings & turned out it wasn't. You can still see there were feathers on the fried chicken. The flavor of the chicken was very dry, oily & over seasoned. It was very salty after taking a couple of bites. I can't stress how bad this was. This was a huge waste of money. We could've gone someplace else & I want to warn everyone before coming. I went with their medium spicy chicken sandwich, which had a chicken breast with spicy dry rub on a brioche bun. The chicken was moist and flavors were ok. While reviewers have incorrectly referred to this as "Nashville" style, I wasn't expecting the dry rub. "Nashville" style has the breaded chicken glazed in a spicy chili oil for that characteristic spicy flavor. Nevertheless, the sandwich is crispy, juicy, and it does have a spicy kick. If I were to order their sandwich again, then I'd probably choose one of their Korean-style sauces. That being said, we also got their chicken wings with a "smoky and spicy" flavor, which is generally one of our favorite flavors at Korean chicken spots. The sauce was tasty; however, we would have loved for the chicken to be as crispy as our chicken was in our chicken sandwich. Fries and onion rings here are good. They are breaded nicely and have a nice, pleasing crisp. If you order them seasoned, then they won't let you down on that. It was just me and my family dining in, but there were a lot of take out orders. We waited about 15 minutes, which wasn't too bad. Chicken Sandwich- The chicken was juicy and fried to perfection. You can adjust the heat level and I got mild which was perfect. It had a light kick and was not overpowering. The bun is soft with a light crisp. You get coleslaw to cut through the spice and add sweetness. Pretty tasty! Mac and Cheese- This was nothing special. Reminded me of boxed mac and cheese. Yooooooooooooooooo! This is easily one of my go-to chicken spots, and honestly it's not just about the chicken -- it's the SIDES that really make this place hit different. They've got so many good options it's hard not to overorder. The jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese are dangerously addictive, the waffle fries are always a must, and one of my absolute favorites on the menu has to be the fried squid legs. Crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right every time. On top of that, they also have kimchi fried rice with spam and a solid lineup of other Korean sides that really round out the meal. The only thing I'm missing? Fried zucchini. If they added that, it would be game over for me . For the main event, I usually go with the 4-piece drumsticks and thighs -- perfect portion and always satisfying. Flavor-wise, I'd recommend getting a mix of mild crispy and original crispy. My family can't really handle spice, so the original crispy works great for them, but personally, the mild crispy is my favorite. It has just enough kick to keep things interesting without overpowering the chicken. If I had to nitpick, I'd say for the price, I wish the waffle fries came with a little more, but quality-wise they're still solid. The real standout for me though was the squid legs -- hands down my favorite side and something I'd come back for alone. We tried both the korean and the extra spicy sauce and they were so good and crispy. The restaurant is small and clean. The ambiance was good they had large TVs for the games. Overall, we will most likely get it again but avoid anything with the Mac and Cheese. Service was kind but prone to being overwhelmed. They charge $15.88 for the smallest portion size i have ever seen on the ramen. On top of that it wasn't even garnished with anything like in the picture and the noodles were hard/sticky as if they'd had been sitting for 30 minutes while the rest of my order was made. The kimchi fried rice was subpar at best, tasted worse than frozen rice i could make myself also costing $15.88. The chicken is pricey too but at least it's good. I called and asked to talk to the owner. The guy that answered the phone said he was the owner and his name was i think Brandon. Here, you don't have to choose between Nashville style or Korean fried chicken, they've got over 18 flavors total!
