A very decked out fried chicken place that is quite mesmerizing! We were able to easily find parking on the street even though it was still popping at 9pm. We ordered the half bird with an extra tender (better heat level) and the cluckin fries. We tried the chicken with their comeback sauce which was very delicious. We had to wait longer for the half bird, so keep that in mind. Honestly wasn't expecting it to be as spicy as it was since I have a pretty high spice tolerance. Next time I will get the feel it twice level. The half bird includes two very large pieces of chicken that includes the thighs-- pretty good although my friend found it to taste a bit unusual towards the center of the chicken near the bones. The tender however was very thick, juicy, and had a great ratio of batter to chicken. These all came with white bread and pickles-- a classic compliment. As a side, we ordered the Cluckin Fries which was actually quite good for the price since it also came with bits of chicken tenders. But the sauce from the coleslaw was personally a little too much. It felt like the fries were drench and easily became soggy. Maybe the coleslaw should come on the side. Got the 3 piece tender combo which included a side and a drink. For the spice level I got a medium and it was a nice kick to it. They said the hit was pretty hot especially since it was a dry rub. I was happy with the medium level. The tenders are large breast pieces and juicy. The breading isn't too thick but did start falling off. Their comeback sauce was good, creamy but didn't overpower the flavor of the chicken. And for my side I choose the coleslaw which was good nothing too grand but went well with everything. Im a little disappointed, this place went downhill. Few years ago I remember the owner would be around, food was great. Went again last year and decided to give it a try today again and same thing. Chicken seasoning was lacking, kinda bland imo. I will say I do like their sauce but my bottom bun was soggy immediately as I walked out the door (i think from the slaw), so that took away from it. Having had tried quite a handful of hot chicken sandwiches in the last few months now, I'm gonna be outright honest and say this was one was average at best. The chicken met my three personal criteria for high quality chicken - juiciness, crispiness, and flavor - but the bun was quite soft and soggy, the slaw was mediocre, and overall a bit steep on the prices. I wasn't feeling that hungry so I got the Side Chick which was still $6.50 after tax, and it was quite miniature to my surprise. And the Main Chick being an additional $5 is a bit much considering there's no way the piece of chicken increases in size by almost double?! Lastly, I didn't try the mac & cheese but on behalf of my cousin who did - it was the worst mac & cheese ever. By no means am I saying this place is terrible or that you shouldn't get it. Took about 10min to get the food, so pretty fast based on these current times. Flavor was solid, as was the portion and freshness. We visited Nashville earlier this year and this is the closest to authentic Nashville hot chicken we have found here in SoCal! The Blazin' fries were great, the regular fries were good (if a little underseasoned) and overall it was a good portion size. The service was pretty quick for being a walk-in order. One minor complaint is the employees were pretty busy doing online orders so they almost forgot our dipping sauce. We had to remind them when we picked it up. Definitely eating here again! This place is yummy! Customer service was on point, they helped me to decide was spice level I wanted since I'd never been there before and let me sample them. I got the tender combo with tots. Everything was really tasty together but I do think the chicken could've been seasoned better. There was also a long tendon in both of the chickens that I had and although it wasn't bad to pull them out it did slightly ruin the experience. I would definitely eat here again. Even though it was thick, the center was juicy and the outer layer had the perfect amount of crunch and seasoning to it. The comeback sauce was drippin' from the burger and was just overall finger lickin' good. As for the Cluckin' Fries, if you absolutely love standard cut fries, you have to order this side! The amount of layers the fries have is incomparable and so satisfying. Potion size is standard. If you are ordering for two, I recommend sharing a Main Chick sandwich and the Cluckin' Fries as the portions are just right! We saw a review of this spot on IG and decided to make the drive out from Redlands to check it out! We came in already knowing that we wanted to get the Nashville hot breakfast burrito. We wanted the heat to be extra hot, but the cashier warned us that we probably couldn't handle it. We said we would take our chances and ordered a side of Mac n cheese just in case it was a spice we couldn't handle. We got our food to go, and didn't realize until after we had left that the food was marked as having a medium heat level. We figured it was marked incorrectly, but when we ate, it was definitely lacking heat. The flavors were underwhelming and bland. Maybe the heat we had asked for would have helped.
