First off, there were so many fees that the order was almost $9 more. Before tipping, the total came out to $21 per burrito with all of the fees. Instead the delivery person left the food at the bottom of my complex's stairs after texting me that she had left it in front of my door... Change in ownership? This place used to be my go-to for hot sandwiches but the quality has gone downhill. It no longer tastes as good as I remember it being. The fries are soggy and stale. It probably has to do with the fact they are now crinkle cut fries. Also, I used to have points saved up but I think they changed their online ordering system so my old account no longer exists. I usually order online and pick up in store since it's the fastest and easiest option. It does require less interaction with the workers but wow, did the cashier still radiate a rude energy. I didn't get her name but she seemed so unbothered with a nasty attitude. Her acrylic nails were nicer than her face. I went up to the counter to pick up my food and she didn't even greet me or help me in the slightest. Heard a lot of things about this place and finally got a chance to try it out! Hot Chicken has been a craving on my list recently so I was excited to find another potential go-to. I got The Tender Combo with a side of Fries and Spice Level "Better". I love how they asked us if pickles were okay to be added (and they added so many!). I was given one extra tender (probably by accident) but two jumbo tenders is more than enough to have me full. The fries were crunchy but soft on the inside! One thing I'd say about the hot chicken here compared this other place is how it feels like the spice powder was just sprinkled on top of the chicken skin instead of having the spices fried along with the chicken. Not sure why all the good reviews. I ordered the chicken strip combo with NO PICKLES. Repeatedly said it as I am very sensitive to pickling spice. When the order came up, I saw the young man take it back and then put it back in the window. My gut told me he screwed up and removed the pickles vs. remaking it. When I got it home, the strips were covered in pickle seeds and juice. The tenders were not crispy at all. Very little flavor. I ordered a side of Mac and cheese. The Side Chick sandwich has a Chicken Tender + Comeback Sauce + Slaw + Pickles. The chicken tender is a decent size, but not as large as the Breast Fillet in The Main Chick sandwich. The mild was quite mild, but the medium had much more flavor and spiciness. I wish the mild had more seasoning on it! For this combo, you can choose any side from the following: Fries, Coleslaw, Tater Tots, or Mac + Cheese. I chose the fries which came with a light layer of seasoning which I liked, some other joints put waaaaaaaaaaay too much seasoning on their fries. They're using whole parts of the chicken, and I encourage you to take the order bones and all. There has been a rising popularity in hot chicken, and we're seeing commercial branches be made, but to me, this place did it first and they did it the best. One major plus is that the tenders are large! A huge issue I had was that an extra tender cost $5 alone, they are large but that just felt overpriced when there are no 3 piece options. I love supporting Armenian owned businesses so when I found out that there is a Cluck and Blaze nearby, I just had to try it. I ordered the mild main chick sandwich and boy was it spicy! It definitely brought tears to my eyes but I am a weakling when it comes to spicy so keep that in mind lol. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. It was well marinated and the cluck sauce is bomb!
