Tastes like a rip off of Juan Pollo. I got the tacos and they were very plain and not that great I wouldn't get it again. My dad got the two piece combo and the chicken was alright tasted like Juan pollo but missing something. Even the menu and pricing is similar to Juan Pollo. Chicken is awesome here, nice citrus flavor I like it well done so I always ask for it and they deliver! Chicken is tender and skin is nice and crispy with so much flavor. Glad it's near by, please support these guys so they can flourish in Rancho Cucamonga! No need to go to a dumpy Juan pollo and please don't compare this to El Pollo loco... great customer service too. I'm not s potato salad guy but the beans and rice is good. I've visited Cluck N Pollo three more times since my first review and they have definitely turned around their customer service. The chicken is very flavorful and plentiful. My wife and I enjoy the mini-meal and we have plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. The associates have really stepped up their game and are very friendly and fast. I like the new shopping center and so far haven't been disappointed with the businesses I tried. Today was Cluck N Pollo's turn. I read the reviews and can see how they call it a Juan Pollo knockoff. It's similar especially the potato salad. I ordered enchiladas, a 3 piece meal and leg and thigh with corn tortillas. Everything was excellent. The reason I will become a regular is the size of the pieces of chicken. Lately my husband complains about the size of the pieces of chicken. He was not disappointed. My advice to this restaurant is to don't sell small pieces of chicken, continue to concentrate on awesome customer service and keep your prices fair. I recommend trying this restaurant for yourself and don't let any of the bad reviews stop you. I am giving it a 4 stars because I believe consistency deserves 5 stars when it comes to fast food knockoff restaurants. Well I really love this chicken place they by far have the best chicken I ever had its suppose to be like Juan Pollo well Juan Pollo used to be great but now this new chicken place has the best chicken I ever tasted it's really juicy and tender and it falls right off the bone from the day I found this place I been coming back will be coming back for more I whould highly reccomend everyone to give this place a try read more

Awesome, I was hoping I'd be able to leave a review somehow , place is really clean by the way which brings comfort in eating here , I'm a college athlete which means no fast food for me but this place is a real good choice man if you want to eat good and not feel guilty after , came here once , the food was delicious , the food met my expectations towards authentic Mexican rotisserie , so I came back with some of my football buddies , everyone loved it especially my coach lol coach thought it was a great fit and placed a catering order for our cook out this weekend , customer service is great , the dude in the front handling the cashier is on point with people skills , I mention this because most places just take you're order with a long face don't say a word and move on to the next customer , haven't tried everything yet but everything I've tried so far was delicious such as theese delicious taquitos and their chicken and sides , if you're reading this review I def recommend trying read more

Been waiting for this place to open and I finally got around to trying it... was pretty good, I got the chicken nachos, wet burrito and potato salad. Everything on the menu looks pretty good, only thing that really bothered me was the combo selection. Tacos, flautus, enchiladas etc is just weird not being paired with rice and beans, theres no option to even make it a combo for 2 dollars more. read more

Visited this establishment to order some chicken and rice after a much needed post workout meal to fuel my muscles for optimal growth. I ordered the two piece white meat breast with some rice and beans and wow was I blown away by the taste and flavor of the rotisserie chicken!! The chicken had plenty of spices and was very juicy. The rice and beans were super fresh and very tasty. Overall, I would rate this restaurant a 5/5 and a must for fitness freaks because of the healthy menu options. Was passing through RC and had to stop for a quick dinner. This was like one of the only places open so I figured I'd stop. This place was probably the most disappointing food place I've ever been to. The chicken was dry and unseasoned none of anything I ordered was cooked just taken out of a heater and microwaved. Let me say that again. Microwaved. They had 30 chickens on the warmer an hour before they closed. So, I'm sure they just throw them in the fridge over night and put them back on the next day. I've never been to cluck n pollo before it seems like a rip off of El pollo loco. This is a new establishment with the grand opening sign still out. I ordered the 3 piece meal. The chicken was over cooked and dry. Probably because it had been sitting out for the maximum legal amount of time. The potato salad was not to my liking, but some people might like it. The rice was pretty good. It tasted like it was made with chicken stock. The tortillas taste like they came from the grocery store and had that strange dry funny taste. Dice they are next door to a stater brothers they might have just bought them there. Come to think about it the potato salad tasted like the stater brothers potato salad that I didn't like...hmmm... The beans were umm beans. Not bad and not good I was asked if I wanted got our mild sauce. I said mild but I never got it with my meal so I went to the condiment station. I got the green salsa. That had a serious kick of heat! The place itself is clean and new. Neat looking epoxy floor. You could get better chicken and sides in Stater brothers next door. read more

For a new restaurant in Rancho I was appalled at the horrible customer service. Everything was a problem at the register, the cashier was not even trying to be friendly or accommodating. When we got home I noticed the salad I ordered was not in the bag. When I called the person said she did not charge me for it. I'm looking right at the receipt and she sure did. The food is just so so and not worth this kind of hassle. I've lived in Rancho for 33 years and can tell you this place won't make it unless they straighten out. I'm not going back. read more

Zero flavor... And I mean zero!!! Super bland... Dry... Slimey and cold! Pollo Loco is 1000x better! Rice has no flavor... I was not impressed... Nothing is worse when you go somewhere and you are hungry and the food is terrible which was my experience with colleagues... Not one of us liked it... I will never go here again! So 3 stars is not bad a review for fast food chicken. Not going to be perfect every time. The flavor is good, but could be better. A little on the dry side. The salsa is not the best. This place is a joke, I ordered a family meal which includes 3 large sides and chicken. I ordered an extra side so 3 plus 1 equals 4! When I got home I had 3 sides 2 rice and 1 beans. So I called the store immediately and said "you didn't give me my potato salad which comes automatically with the meal" Abel said come back and we will give it to you for free, I said well I already paid for it, so can you give me an extra one for my inconvenience, because now I have to drive back to get it and leave my dinner. Abel said Yes! Then I get there and the person in charge says sorry we don't give food away, whether he told you that or not I am under strict orders not to give food away. Abel was standing right next to him and he blatantly lied about telling me he would give me an extra one for my inconvenience. The girl that rang me up said she substituted my potato salad for the rice. I have no idea why she would do that when an extra side means an extra side not substitute. They sat there arguing with me for 10 mins over a $3 side. I was the one inconvenience, i was the one lied to and it's amazing to me how this place is still in business if they can't treat their customer's fairly. I've been to this restaurant several times before but just to order chicken or a burrito. Today I want to try their nachos but was skeptical because I'm very picky about how my nachos are prepared. Cluck n Pollo is my go to spot when I'm craving chicken. The chicken is made rotisserie style and has the best flavoring not just on the skin but throughout. The rice and beans have terrific flavoring as well. I've had Juan Pollo, Tasty Chicken, El Pollo Loco and this blows them all away. In fact I haven't been to El Pollo since this spot opened. Gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised by this place...Just as the name says, it was Cluck-N-Good! Imagine Starbucks vibe, but with Rotisserie Chicken (minus the leather couch).
