First time visit and we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The space is bright and fun, services was great, and food tasty. Prices are reasonable for good portions. Margarita flight had several flavor options and refreshing. We'll be back!

Ambience is nice inside (nice wall decoration). All the meals were really good and hit the spot for Mexican craving without making me sick if that makes sense . Server was attentive . I would just recommend fundido to be made white cheese not yellow . That's all

Great food and service. Place is kind of small considering there's always people but then again, delicious food makes it worth the wait..

I've been coming here for years! They remodeled the bar area which is beautiful! They also have a second location on haven and baseline! The food and service is always the best! Chips and salsa are great! Drinks are strong and cheap! I enjoy getting the carne asada plate which comes with rice and beans! Always huge portions!

Even though the rating of El Cerrito was 3.8 we thought we would decide for ourselves. Plus, we were hungry and tired and needed to eat. It was 5:30 on a Saturday and not too crowded. We were seated quickly. Our server took a bit to ask for any drinks. We ordered a strawberry margarita and a skinny margarita. Both tasted like sweet and sour mix. We should have sent them back, but we are just too nice. They came in really beautiful glassware. Again, it took a bit of time for the server to take our order. He was friendly and kind. Maybe they just don't schedule enough help on a Saturday evening.‍ Our food came in a timely manner. My husband ordered the carnitas burrito which he said was really good! I ordered the chicken salad with avocado. The chicken was delicious, but the lettuce was so saturated in water that it felt like a soup salad. I could not eat it. Again, it's my fault for not sending it back. However, I couldn't even had if I wanted too. Our server never came back. After my husband finished his meal, it must have been 20 minutes before any server walked by for us to ask them to find our server for the bill. He came promptly and set the card reader on the table and left to get a box. The machine they use has you manually enter your credit card. Kinda weird. On a more positive note the restaurant is clean with a unique ambiance. When we left there were many people waiting outside to get a table and the restaurant was pretty full. So clearly, many people love this restaurant.

Tried this restaurant and it didn't disappoint us. The food was delicious and served in big portions. The place is clean and looks great. Our waitress was very attentive to us and helpful. We will definitely be back and recommend it to our friends.

A buddy and I decided to eat breakfast about 1030 am on a Saturday. We brought along his son who was home for the weekend. I ordered the Chilaquelas with eggs beans and potatoes. My buddy had the huevos divorciados and his son knew to get the El Cerrito special burrito which has a Chili relleano stuffed inside as a cheesy yummy surprise. Beautifully decorated inside and very clean. The bar looks like a sports fan's heaven, (please Uber) and the staff are both friendly and attentive. The Chilaquelas plate was a mixed review. I had Chili Verde so it was green sauce which seemed to make the chips soggy and mushy. The chili verde was tender and tasty. All I have to say about the frijoles is MORE!. My buddy loved the Huevos Divorciados and I was shocked his son was able to eat that huuuge El Cerrito Special Burrito! He loved it. Honestly the price for three big men was not horrible in the current situation and the waitress was very nice to us while checking often. Yummy in my tummy!

The restaurant is decent and looks like they a large selection of food on their Sunday buffet. The price is $35 for the buffet and if you can eat that much I'm sure you would be satisfied My wife had the combo and I had the Chile verde plate. It was Ok but needed more heat and was a little watery for my taste I'm sure we will come by again when weee in the area.

El Cerrito in Rancho Cucamonga is an absolute five-star spot and one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. The hostess was a little serious and didn't give a welcoming vibe, maybe she was having a bad day. BUT The food is amazing everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and authentically made. The portions are generous, the plates are well presented, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every dish, whether it's tacos, enchiladas, or their signature plates. Our server was incredible! very attentive. What really sets El Cerrito apart is the overall experience. The service is fast without feeling rushed, the drinks are perfectly made, and the prices are more than fair for the quality you get. It's a great place for family dinners, celebrations, or just a casual night out. If you're in Rancho Cucamonga and craving top-tier Mexican food with great service and a comfortable vibe, El Cerrito is 100% worth the visit.

How much is the AYCE Sunday brunch?

    Do they serve brunch?

Yes 9 am 3:00 pm Sundays

Are you open for sit down dine in?

    Yes

Does anyone know, are there any vegan options or can anything be made vegan (potato tacos, bean enchiladas, etc)? Are their beans and/or rice made with animal products?

Yes, they do have gluten free and vegan options :)

    Do they have happy hour?

I believe they do. I think Monday through Thursday. I think it's 12:00 to 6:00

Did El Cerrito change hands? Not the same faces or same people. Let alone not the same food. Not saying it wasn't good . Just wasn't personal care in the food. Been going there for seven years just wasn't the same.

No, same owners. I know this because my company ships them the majority of products they us there. I also know they buy the best in quality products for their customers. The owners are very very nice people

Do they have good Shrimp Cocktail?

I haven't had shrimp there, everything else I've had there is delicious. I think you'll enjoy whatever you order.

I thought clearly stated what I'd like to have. Unfortunately the enchiladas took a very long time to make it to the take, while my party was now boxing up their plates. To my surprise there was no chicken as requested. I just checked with the sever to ensure I was not charged the additional fee for protein. The rice was crunchy, and the beans was not even above room temp. To me this indicates food that sat awhile. While the flavor of the enchiladas was decent, the cheese was already starting to solidify again. I do not plan to return.

The way it was going to be prepared was with spring mix, which I don't prefer. I asked for a spicy skinny margarita, and they were able to accommodate me for that as well! Yummy! The food was mediocre but preferred the "on the spot" chef selection where we could order, chilaquiles, fresh tacos, omelets, and quesadillas. The menudo seemed as if it were sitting in the warmer so long it created a dry, thick layer at the top from sitting there for who knows how long. The churros were hard, unsweetened fruits, and dry macaroni salad. The tacos, quesadillas, and chef made eggs were tasteful. The waitress was very attentive and constantly changing out of dishes. Perhaps this day was a fluke as the hostess mentioned they are usually crowded but it was pretty empty when we arrive at 12:30.
