    Margaritas

Found this place online and was not disappointed. Had the california burrito and it was great! My wife had a carne asada tostada salad and she loved it. Portions were generous. Carne asada was some of the best we've had. High quality no fat and chopped up into bite size pieces. Margaritas were exceptional too. Staff were nice, friendly, and attentive. We will be going back!

Came in for my moms 75th birthday dinner. We made a reservation which was nice since we had a party of 15. They were all so nice, welcoming, and attentive. Some of our party was late but they still let us sit down and they were getting us drinks and chips and salsa while we waited. The food was all good and had flavor. It was all good portions for the price too. We really liked that they got all the food out fairly quickly for the size of our party. I would say that the only thing was that the margaritas did not taste like it had any tequila and was watered down. Overall not a bad place to choose for my mom's birthday dinner.

Originally, I went there to try out their abondiga 's Mexican soup. But they hadn't formed me when I sat down that they had ran out. Apparently it's very good and very popular so I chose to get the beef taquito appetizer plate, which was very good. It comes with guacamole. Handmade and sour cream arrived at My table in a timely manner. The facility is very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They have chips and salsa while you eat. Definitely want to go back and try their Mexican meatball soup but apparently you really need to get there early.

Excited about the chile relleno soup. It was good, most places dont offer soup. It tasted really good and the cheese was thick. It would get stuck on the spoon. Honestly it was very filling. My husband had the chicken milanesa with rice and beans. We also had a couple of margaritas. They were so BIG. Definitely plan to come back!

We love Casa Rubios restaurant! As someone who is Mexican and knows good Mexican food, I was a bit hesitant to try this place at first. But I was craving pozole, and the restaurant we usually go to was packed, so we decided to give Rubios a shot. Well... the pozole at Rubios turned out to be even better than our usual spot! We also ordered the fajitas mixtas and the fried ice cream--both were delicious and came in big portions. It's important to mention that Casa Rubios is owned by Mexicans, so the food is truly authentic. This has now become our go-to Mexican restaurant. My only regret is not coming here sooner!

Casa Rubios delivers top-notch Mexican food. The food is delicious, and staff members are very kind and professional. The chile verde burrito and Cadillac margaritas are off the charts!

I haven't had this in a long time and it was like grandma had made it "Nopales con Huevo"

We are glad we came across this hidden gem; it has become one a family favorite! We have been here a few times already, mainly on Sundays, it gets busy but not overcrowded, which we liked. The place is nice, we like that they play great old school music at a reasonable volume, the service is amazing, everyone so friendly and the food, delicious!! We have been amazed by; the menudo, chile relleno soup, huevos rancheros, the enchiladas, the sopes (de al pastor) breakfast burrito is big and fulfilling! As my husband said, I hope people realize they are having good authentic Mexican food!

I had been eyeing this place for a while and finally decided to stop in for dinner one evening. We were welcomed when we arrived, and the waitress that assisted us was very pleasant. Getting to the point... The chips were perfectly tasty, the salsa needed a little more flavor for my taste, but both were pretty good overall. The beans and rice were delicious, but, my Carne al Pastor was grossly overcooked and dry. The temperature could have stood to be hotter as well. The shredded chicken taco, well, was just basic, and the Carne Asada was ok. If I had to choose which I would try again, I would say it would be the Carne al Pastor because even considering what I mentioned above, it had the most potential. I will like to add that we did arrive slightly less than 2 hours before closing, so maybe that had something to do with the preparation. However, t's my expectation that most restaurants strive to be consistent from open to close. But I'd rather "blame" the quality of my food on the time we arrived, rather than the preparation....I guess. I think I may actually revisit this restaurant because I was REALLY looking forward to the food matching the reviews. Once I do, I will update this accordingly. **Sending a shout out to my waitress (I won't leave her name in case she wouldn't want me to) because even though the Carne al Pastor was not the best that evening, I do "believe in" her recommendation for it.

I thought clearly stated what I'd like to have. Unfortunately the enchiladas took a very long time to make it to the take, while my party was now boxing up their plates. To my surprise there was no chicken as requested. I just checked with the sever to ensure I was not charged the additional fee for protein. The rice was crunchy, and the beans was not even above room temp. To me this indicates food that sat awhile. While the flavor of the enchiladas was decent, the cheese was already starting to solidify again. I do not plan to return.

The way it was going to be prepared was with spring mix, which I don't prefer. I asked for a spicy skinny margarita, and they were able to accommodate me for that as well! Yummy! The reason for the four stars is because the parking lot is extremely dark and sketchy looking. Unfortunately, I don't feel safe outside there. I feel like it could easily be fixed with an investment in better lighting outdoors.

The food was mediocre but preferred the "on the spot" chef selection where we could order, chilaquiles, fresh tacos, omelets, and quesadillas. The menudo seemed as if it were sitting in the warmer so long it created a dry, thick layer at the top from sitting there for who knows how long. The churros were hard, unsweetened fruits, and dry macaroni salad. The tacos, quesadillas, and chef made eggs were tasteful. The waitress was very attentive and constantly changing out of dishes. Perhaps this day was a fluke as the hostess mentioned they are usually crowded but it was pretty empty when we arrive at 12:30.
