Going to keep this short. Had a water heater installed under home warranty 3 years ago that had a defective part which caused a small leak on the hot water line leading to some buildup. Gave CM a call and expected to be told it was a standard service call (i.e. $ up front) and was pleasantly surprised when she said Chris would be out the next working day to take a look. I also had a leak under a sink which I submitted a new claim for after scheduling CM. I had hoped they could kill 2 birds with one stone so I called to see if they could grab the claim. Before I got off the phone, I already had a notification from my home warranty that CM had picked up the new claim and Chris said he could take care of both issues. Chris arrived the next day, on time, and identified the issue for both the water heater and sink within a few minutes and had THE PARTS FOR BOTH ISSUES with him on the truck. I had several items that needed to be fixed and my home warranty company sent CM plumbing. Tyler was nice, professional, highly skilled, and efficient. He fixed a couple items that other plumbers could NOT fix or even improve, such as the water pressure in my shower that I had not used since I moved in two years ago because hardly any water came out! A plumber last year said that the wall would have to be broken and replace pipes to fix thr water pressure, and they replaced valve but there was no imrovement. I replaced the shower head recently thinking it was clogged, but there was little pressure coming from pipe (see video) and water didnt come out of all the nozzles on my new shower head. I was disappointed and didnt expect it to be fixed, so I was SHOCKED when Tyler cleaned it out and showed me the pressure! It actually came out of all nozzles and you could even turn on the handle at the same time. I am so excited to finally be able to use my shower in the bedroom! He also fixed my sink faucet hot water that other plumbers have said needed to be replaced and my toilet that was whistling and giving a foul smell! Within less than an hour he made such a difference. He had to come back to replace the garbage disposal, which ended up with a leak in pipe due to the attached water purifier system, but he came out the next business day to repair. I submitted a work order with first American warranty and was assigned this company. I was a bit nervous due to all the reviews and first time with this home warranty. Gary helped me with my 3 bathroom toilets, he was honest gave me some feedback about the type of toilets I had and we only needed to fix 2 of them by replacing the mechanism inside. He was nice and professional. He did arrived late but he texted me to let me know he was on his way. If any feedback I can give is the dispatchers, they called me saying my time has changed and my son ended up waiting all day. I'm giving 5 stars because Gary made it, communicated and completed the work in less than 30 minutes and I'm happy with what he did. I understand that some jobs can take longer than others. If I ever need a plumber I hope I can get Gary again. read more

I can't explain why someone would lie like this man did, other than he is racist. Order of events, My husband was twisting off the hose bib and as he did water came out from the wall. We turned off the water to the house and called for help, our FAHW made an appointment with this company for the next morning. We explained that when we moved in we were told that the kitchen sink had a leak and that it had been fixed. So there has always been this wet smell coming from that area, strongest smell comes from cabinet, directly behind spigot. Man shows up at my front door on, we greeted each other and i ask him to meet me at the side of the house. I let him into the back yard and show him where the leak is coming from. Less than 1 star!!  Worthless!!  American Home Warranty referred me to CM Plumbing to clear pipes in upstair tub.  I called Christine, who sent Tyler.  Tyler cleared only the top screen (5 min job), and said the pipes were cleared, then left.  I called CM Plumbing back to request the pipes be snaked, explaining we had just put liquid plumber down the pipes and the pipes needed to be snaked to get all the gunk out but, Taylor with CM Plumbing wanted to charge me $175 on top of the home warranty, to snake the pipes, explaining American Home Warranty will not cover the cost to snake the pipes, then referred me to Old Republic Home Warranty!  UGH!!  Really.  Worthless!!  - CM Plumbing response is full of excuses.  Whomever is reading this, obviously wants to make an educated decision.  You can take a risk, or be smart and error on the side of caution. read more

I had a tech respond to my home today. I had 4 issues covered under my Home Warranty plan. 1. Leaking Main water line shut off valve. 2. No hot water in one of the showers. 3 Running toilet in the downstairs bathroom. 4. Water level in one of the toilets was very low. Solutions 1. Tech said the shut off valve was difficult to access. He said these valves leak and I need to "exercise then for a minute" No repair offered. He suggested that I wait until it leaks again. Sorry. Not going to wait for a leak AND a flood in my garage . 2. He replaced the valve in the shower. Now the hot water flows in the cold position and the cold water flows in the hot position. He says my plumbing is backwards. I suggested that he rotate the valve 180 degrees. Problem solved but he insists I still have a plumbing problem. 3. Never addressed this issue because I asked him to leave. 4. He said the low water level was due to a bad flapper valve. He replaced the flapper. He was ready to leave but I asked him to test it. No change. Still low water level in the bowl. He now feels that in his opinion, this is normal. I told him that the other two toilets are different so either this one is broken or the other two are broken. He did put on shoe covers to protect the carpet. I would trade those shoe covers for a face mask. What company would allow their employees to enter a home without a mask? wiped down and sprayed the areas he touched an I have contacted my home warranty company and asked them to send a different company. I also asked them to do some homework on the company they are contracting with. As basic as a YELP search. I see that others have had the same disappointing results with this company. Called for a very minor water leak, the tech they sent (Miguel) quoted an extreme price gouge of $800 to move 5ft. of gas line that was apparently blocking access, that was before even addressing the leak. Tech couldn't even find the water shutoff valve, left without performing any work, and insists on billing me for the "service call". Called another plumbing company, and they are fixing the leak RIGHT NOW, AND doing an additional service, all for $300 total (and no, they did not need to move any gas lines). If you value your money and your integrity, you would avoid doing business with CM Plumbing Services. read more

This company was sent to me by First American Home Warranty, whom I believe was looking for any excuse to deny my claim. The serviceman agreed that the tankless water heater was not heating up properly, but I was told by the home warranty company that "it is undersized for the house". It took four days for the plumber to send in his report. The heater only provided lukewarm water, and only had to service one bathroom. I couldn't be more unhappy with the service they provided. Another plumber came out and turned temp up on one unit (previously vacant, temp had been turned down) and relit the other water heater. Replacement not needed. read more

We have been without hot water for 2 months thanks to these people. We were assigned them by our home owners warranty and the service tech they sent told our warranty we tampered with the water heater (If trying to turn the pilot on and having the very old worn plastic knob break off simply by turning it is tampering) so they denied our claim. I called numerous times to get some clarification only to speak with the useless receptionist who seems to have a supervisor that is never there. Not that I asked for one she just kept telling me she had to ask her supervisor and they weren't there... 5 separate times... I want their job since because they clearly never seem to go to work. Needless to say these useless people NEVER return calls, NEVER follow up and NEVER actually do what they are paid to do. They are a scam and completely waste of space and time.
