****!!!!!CM plumbing is a scam from American home warranty insurance!!!!!!!*** There was a water leaking issue at home. So, I called to insurance and insurance company assigned this company to fix it. Tyler plumber came our house to see issue and he made a huge hole and check . he said he did not have a part to fix and also need to report insurance company to buy stuff. So he had to leave. And what he said i can reschedule later today. So later today cm company assistant called me and said insurance covers fixing stuff but, insurance company doesnt cover modification. It will cost $500sometning and i asked her what the modification is and she said she did not know what it is , i could ask Tyler plumber. So, I tried to reach him out but he never responded (i left messages but never replied neither) cm plumbing has also never answered.. And i was surprised when I saw the reviews on the yelp!! There was already one review that this company is trying to do exactly same thing to me. $500 from me they may charge approximately $500 to insurance.. may be more or less.. see how much cm plumbing tried to make money from me and insurance. This is the second time he came to "fix" it. He stormed off in the house and was very accusatory while yelling at me/my dad. Chris was kind & professional when he came initially to replace the garbage disposal. Miguel came today to attach the the air gap/dishwasher/garbage disposal. He came with an attitude that he wanted everything lined up & ready or he was leaving. I had the air gap out of the hole to make it easier for him to attach the hoses. I told him that I could attach it in 2 seconds if he wanted it attached. He snickered that it would take him longer. I literally attached it in 30 seconds. He said the dishwasher was not draining due to being too low. He opened the top drawer of the dishwasher and saw the standing water & said that the top drawer was too high to drain. Which is it Miguel, too high or too low? Which ever excuse will pass for the lack of knowledge. I then said gosh darn & Miguel started for the door saying "I'm not going to take cursing". I replied, really gosh darn is putting you over the edge? I told him, "fine just leave since you really didn't want to do the work". People if you are forced to use this company due to home warranty issues, take the time to have Chris do the work, don't waste your valuable time with Miguel, his sorry excuses, or lazy attitude! read more

We had them come out from our home warranty. Our drains kept backing up and it turns out we had a broken pipe under ground. The jack hammered the floor, dug through, and found the issue. The issue was a bit bigger than we anticipated but we were guided with their expertise and they got the job done! Our drain was completely crumbled up. Corroded. Glad we got it replaced. This company is very unprofessional. I had a repair through my home warranty company for a toilet. They arrived on Friday and removed the toilet, diagnosed the problem and told me that they didn't have the part and they would return on Tuesday to repair. I called the following Tuesday to confirm the appointment and the receptionist acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and that she was waiting for authorization from the warranty company. I called the warranty company and they said they never received the report from CM Plumbing. I haven't had use of that toilet for 4 days now and the company doesn't seem to care. Looking at all the past complaints here on Yelp, this company should have their license revoked. I will be filing a complaint with the State Licensing Board if this issue is not corrected quickly. read more

OK, so I have First American home warranty. My experience with many many many of their contractors has been terrible. Almost making me terminate my contract, but something in me had me continue with it -just in case. When I needed a plumber again, my previous experience with one of their other contractors, accord Appliance was deplorable. I contacted First American home warranties account specialist department and escalated the request and asked if I could please be assigned a better contractor. They went through all of the contractors and this was the one that had the highest ratings. I decided to take the chance. And I'm glad that I did, I had already had a plumber come out and tell me what the problem was with my shower. So I had a shower leak, a couple drains that needed to be snaked, a kitchen faucet that needed to be replaced and two faucets in my laundry room that were leaking and needed replacement. They did everything perfectly. They deserve to be recognized for doing a good job. Albeit, I knew what needed to be done but they didn't argue and they ordered the parts and came back and fixed everything. It's all perfect. Highly recommended from my personal experience. read more

I do not recommend this plumbing service. A plumber named Ruben Lopez showed up and seemed in a hurry from the get go. I have a problem with extremely low water pressure in my house. It's a serious problem as I can't even use my sprinklers due to only a drip coming out. Kitchen sink is the same. Washing machine too. This guy said there was nothing too obviously wrong but charged me $75 and said said he would seek approval for another procedure to determine what was wrong, but he never got back to me. That was it. $75 for nothing. Don't use this company, or especially don't use this particular plumber. read more

This plumber was not selected by me. We were referred by our home warranty company. I was contacted stating a plumber would be here the next day from 8-12. I purposely stayed home . At 11:55am I called CM plumbing to check the status and I was told that the plumbers morning job has delayed him. I was never contacted informing me of this delay. She apologized and said he will be here within an hour and a half. I started calling again at 3:15. Had to leave a voicemail. Called six more times. No one answered left a second email. By 4 o'clock I called my home warranty to cancel their service. I do not recommend this company. poor , customer service and is not reliable. I will be recommending to my home warranty company. They remove this vendor as a preferred plumber. Update: Ivan shows up at 4:40pm. When I asked him for explanation of why he was late and he had attitude and said I've been working. I explained I was told he would be here between 8-12 and then by 1:30pm. He said well so you want me to fix your leak or not. I told him well I guess since your here and I wanted a day of work. I called for review of a leak due to my washing machine line(s) at my property. After arriving to my property and chatting with his coworker downstairs in my parking lot for 30-40 minutes while I waited, the technician finally came upstairs to review the washer area. I explained some water was leaking to the neighbors garage below. I called the neighbor and knocked to have them open the garage not even for 5 minutes before the technician rudely expressed "I need to leave I have other appointments. Next time have everything ready". He wouldn't even look at the wall behind the washer, unhook it or remove the drywall. Needless to say right after he left the neighbors kindly had the garage ready-not taking more than 5-8 minutes of his time. Couldn't wait 5 minutes for me but I kindly waited 30-40 minutes for his convo in the parking lot. Ended up being a $600 job I gladly gave to another plumbing company the next day, definitely caused by my washer drains. read more

Most horrible company. The order was put through AHS. The technician came out looked at for few minutes and said it needs approval from AHS and he will let us know. After a week I followed up with them and they still needed to contact AHS for an approval. Didn't get done so I called AHS and AHS called CM. The technician told AHS that the part that is needed will cost me $600 and it's not covered by AHS. So CM technician wanted to charge me $600 to fix it. I called out another plumbing company on my own and the diagnosis was completely wrong by CM. My plumber fixed it for $275 labor and parts. So CM Plumbing technician was completely wrong and wanted to charge me $600 on top of what I paid the AHS for call fee. read more

I would never ever do business with CM plumbing. They are irresponsible and work for the Home Property Protection, not the clients. They inspected the leak and reported that the remodeler broke the pipe, although the remodeling was done two years ago. They are not logical, if my remodeler broke the pipe, why would I pay $75 deductible to my HPP to have them fix the leak? I explained and showed them the receipts and they said they will redo the diagnosis, but never followed through. I texted the technician (Gary) and he did not respond. I called the last two days and my calls were never picked up. I regretted letting them be the contractor. read more

Horrible and dishonest. IF your home warranty company assigns you this company, I'd recommend asking to be reassigned. If you've already been taken advantage of by them, then file a complaint with the home warranty company. Don't let them take advantage of you. In my experience, they had Ivan come out. He then tried to "upsell" the issue and said yes the warranty will cover the part/job but that he must "bring things up to code" and charge 2.5k outside of what the home warranty would cover. IF something similar happens to you, don't like this company/Ivan shake you down for more money. Cash out with the home warranty, report them, and hire an honest company instead. read more

Chris stops by and looks under the sink without doing anything else and immediately stated he needed a machine called the hydro jet to fix it. Didn't try to do anything else. And to top it off he said their machine was not working at the time. Lazy plumber, doesn't want his hands to get dirty. You can't bullshit a bullshitter, Chris! Just tell me that you'll lose money and don't want to do it. Had another company for a consult and we were advised that using the hydro jet would be the last resort because the kitchen is located on the second floor and the water can damage the cabinets. read more

Chris has saved us multiple times in the last couple of years. We found him through the home warrantee and kept him on as our regular plumber. He has done a whole house re-pipe for us. He came to the rescue when our pipes in the backyard collapsed, and he is always there to answer our calls for whatever the case may be. Let me say that I normally do not write bad reviews. I always try to understand the why before I say anything. American home shield sent CM Plumbing to fix a liking faucet on the bathtub installed in 1980; I also need to mention that I bought the steam on my own after paying the insurance fir the service fee. CM plumbing called me and made the appointment, very nice lady; Tyler came over, also very polite, and tried installing the part that I bought, He mentioned that our double faucet was too old and needed to be replaced and he would order the part, A part came, and it was the wrong one, to make the story short after weeks of calling and trying to get this fix I received a call from the home shield that the plumber report stated that our water pressure was to high and that is why the part needs to be replaced and for that reason, the replacement was not cover. I have called them for over a week to find out why they said the house water pressure was high; we have never heard of this before. Every day the nice lady mentioned that Tyler will call you back, then her supervisor will call you back, and even that she will call me back; finally, today I called again, and she said they could fix it for $2000. Well, the part cost me at a specialty store $500 plus tax a plumber fixed it for the service call fee. I am not sure if you will use them, but I think they are dishonest and irresponsible, and they are only using the system to see how much they can get from you. I will never use them or recommend them. And by the way, the installed plumber said the water pressure in my house is normal. Be aware that businesses like CM are using the insurance money without providing service. read more

Going to keep this short. Had a water heater installed under home warranty 3 years ago that had a defective part which caused a small leak on the hot water line leading to some buildup. Gave CM a call and expected to be told it was a standard service call (i.e. $ up front) and was pleasantly surprised when she said Chris would be out the next working day to take a look. I also had a leak under a sink which I submitted a new claim for after scheduling CM. I had hoped they could kill 2 birds with one stone so I called to see if they could grab the claim. Before I got off the phone, I already had a notification from my home warranty that CM had picked up the new claim and Chris said he could take care of both issues. Chris arrived the next day, on time, and identified the issue for both the water heater and sink within a few minutes and had THE PARTS FOR BOTH ISSUES with him on the truck. My water heater broke and I went through First Am Home Warranty. They contracted CM plumbing in which they came out the next day. The plumber was nice and said he was going to send the report that day. He did not. I called the next day, my insurance still didn't receive the report. I called the second day. Still nothing. The insurance and I had to call the contractor at least 4 times until they finally sent over the report (more than 2 days later). I ended up not going through my insurance/Cm plumbing because if I can't rely on this company to send out a report in a timely manner (or when the plumber said he would) I wouldn't trust them to do a good job. After this mess, is when I saw other Yelpers write about their bad experience that was also related to their home warranty. Makes sense now. read more

I had several items that needed to be fixed and my home warranty company sent CM plumbing. Tyler was nice, professional, highly skilled, and efficient. He fixed a couple items that other plumbers could NOT fix or even improve, such as the water pressure in my shower that I had not used since I moved in two years ago because hardly any water came out! A plumber last year said that the wall would have to be broken and replace pipes to fix thr water pressure, and they replaced valve but there was no imrovement. I replaced the shower head recently thinking it was clogged, but there was little pressure coming from pipe (see video) and water didnt come out of all the nozzles on my new shower head. I was disappointed and didnt expect it to be fixed, so I was SHOCKED when Tyler cleaned it out and showed me the pressure! It actually came out of all nozzles and you could even turn on the handle at the same time. I am so excited to finally be able to use my shower in the bedroom! He also fixed my sink faucet hot water that other plumbers have said needed to be replaced and my toilet that was whistling and giving a foul smell! Within less than an hour he made such a difference. He had to come back to replace the garbage disposal, which ended up with a leak in pipe due to the attached water purifier system, but he came out the next business day to repair.
