This is a really cute little grocery store. We didn't try the food line/buffet but it smelled so freaking good and looked really nice, so we did contemplate getting a little bit, but we didn't want to ruin our dinner reservations for later in the evening. Walking in, we were greeted very warmly. There is a side of the store that is dedicated to seating for people who have ordered food. It was large and very clean. The grocery section is a bit limited but this is a smaller store and they have all the necessities and a few other things as well. I think this store really does cater to visitors and I really appreciated the Montana section where you could buy little souvenirs and gifts. We didn't buy a lot but checkout was super easy and really friendly. Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Places like Co-op Downtown are what I miss out on the most living in NYC. The community feel in this place was so strong I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie. I was in here 2 of my 3 days in Bozeman DECIMATING this hot bar littered with locally sourced foods ($10.90 per lb). I tried the tomato bisque soup with a piece of a baguette, organic ground beef, grilled yams, fresh vegetables, organic chicken, etc. I'm a slut for a good tomato bisque and love getting up in some good yams, but who doesn't? I also tried 3 different types of jerky, with the head and shoulders best one being the B Bar Ranch Organic, Grass Fed/Grass Finished Beef Jerky. It was spiritual. I bought an extra pack on the way out to give to my girlfriend but it just didn't make it. It too, was decimated. I would be living in here if I lived in Bozeman. ONE LOVE! When picked up from the airport and being taken to my hotel, the shuttle driver suggested that we eat at Co-op Downtown as it was delicious and one of the more affordable places to eat in the area. It wasn't bad, it definitely reminded me of the salad bar at a WholeFoods but on a much smaller scale. In addition to being a salad bar, it's also a small market where you can buy a few high end food items. Plenty of seating, the dining area felt a little like a cafeteria or a food hall, pretty spacious. Employees were friendly and eager to answer any questions or recommend items. I also appreciated the extra effort this spot takes to separate compost, landfill, and recycling. Ambiance is very small town coffee shop/small local grocery store, minimalist but inviting and very clean.

This local coop in downtown Bozeman is a great stop for fresh locally grown produce prepared in many delicious ways.

$26. Salad and mini curry chicken salad sandwich. Found cartilage.

Stopped here after yoga class to get a smoothie! A little overpriced at 6.50 for a basic smoothie, but really delicious.

The best place for a healthy meal. Build your own salad oracle your own hot lunch-style meal. Almost always a good variety.

Great food Great…read morevibes Good service This place can be girls night out, dude meet up, family gatherings or date night. The wait is not that long.. we came here as walk in's 2x on our 1week stay that started in Bozeman, went down to Yellowstone, then to Idaho for UTV riding and then to Jackson Hole WY to go see the Teton National Park. It was nice to walk around the local shops while we waited and then afterwards to work off those delicious carbs. Thin crust pizzas clean, fresh, not heavy and seasonal ingredients. The crust is soooo good. Chewy and some char. We had: Montana Burger Royale My teen son dreams about this. Yes its 27.00 and he said its the BEST burger he's ever had. I would have to agree (and we live in Austin TX where there's great cow) -the burger meat melted in your mouth -the egg dripping as you break the yolk was perfection. The bacon so juicy, the brioche bun (that was the winning touch) We shared: Hot Honey Pizza- so good 9/10 Spicy Burrata- also great. 8/10 Mac n cheese- that was the only miss. Way under seasoned and the white sauce seemed to get sucked up by the pasta so the dish was super dry. 3/10 Frites and Fondue- fries were great. Thick cut with finely shaved pecorino. Could have used a heaping more of the shaved cheese. -the fondue was ok, seemed still under seasoned or just not creamy enough? I'd swap that for some roasted garlic with the truffle oil. 6/10 Local brews and ciders were great! 9/10 Huckleberry Cheesecake 9/10 save room for this bad boy. We split it between 4 people. Not too sweet. Tart and delightful! The world cup was on the TV so it was a hopping place even as it rained during a late June evening. Parking garage nearby is free for 2hrs so thats cool! Come DT BZN and support local!

When we came in at around 4pm, there seemed to be plenty of tables available but after an hour, the place quickly filled up. Vibes/Service: Parking lot in the back and it seemed there was some street parking available as well. Many, many tables available with bar seating as well. It can certainly fit a larger group. Great service from our server. Checked on us often and filled up our waters. Food: Because it was our first meal here, we wanted to try out their staple dishes. -Bison Potstickers ($16): 5 pieces topped with mango and garlic chili sauce and served with some coleslaw. Rich and filling, paired well with the sauce. Would order this again! -Bison Patty Melt ($22): it was my first time eating Bison, the waiter suggested medium rare. It looked more red than I usually like but it actually was juicy and tasty-- I guess this is the difference between a regular beef patty. I'd also order this again. -Served with pepper parmesan fries which was so uniquely food. Fries were fresh. -Huckleberry Cream Ale ($8/pint) paired well with my meal.

The food is pretty good-- the meat definitely tastes different here in Montana. Our server was very helpful and explained the menu very well. Would be a good spot for a date night. This is another restaurant that would do well with a cocktail menu but they do have a good natural wine selection. We didn't partake but it looked pretty diverse and well selected. They provide a carafe of water on the table, which was good given the service. Service was a bit spotty and kind of slow. We didn't see our server much and the food was pretty slow to come out. However, they were extremely busy, so I can forgive it a bit. The menu was interesting and the food was pretty good when we got it. I will say there were hits and misses though. The hummus and sourdough pita was excellent. Fried delicata squash was so good, I made a roasted version for Thanksgiving. My husbands burger was excellent but the house made ketchup was borderline disgusting. It was cold, unflavored tomato sauce. Not so good. I got steak with pasta and my pasta was severely undercooked. I would have said something but our server was pretty unavailable. We didn't want to stay for dessert and I'm glad we didn't because the check took forever to get to us.
