Not once did she speak a word to me or my friend while we were sampling, didn't offer any assistance or even acknowledge us. I'm willing to bet that it was because we looked younger and there's this stigma (especially in the fragrance industry because I work with fragrances), that the younger audience doesn't buy anything. Not only was Norma very unwelcoming and inhospitable, I also observed her eating chocolate pretzels right in front of us while scrolling on her phone. This was a very gross and unprofessional representation of Saks Fifth Avenue and Parfums de Marly. Norma needs better training because she seemed very comfortable doing this as if she does it all the time. There is one bright side to this story though; Patricia came to assist my friend and I and actually spoke to us like we were human beings. She seemed happy to assist us and even made light conversation with us. I felt a lot more welcome speaking with her. Norma could learn from her. If Saks Fifth is comfortable with having their name and luxury brands represented so sloppily, it's only a matter of time before this location closes. Very disappointing experience.

She wasn't sure where the salon was, but the gentleman she was speaking with (he also worked there), said to follow him and he'd take me to the salon. You can't get to it directly, he said. What!? Something about while the salon is part of Saks, it's not really part of Saks. Oh, okay. Well, we go in the back area where inventory is stored, go through a couple of hallways and doors. The last door puts you outside on the sidewalk. The salon entrance is only accessible from the outside, no inside entry. Who knew? After all this, they didn't have what I was looking for. Oh, well.

Plus they do have some shelves and displays of home goods that are darn cute! Great selection of Ariat, Levi's, Wrangler, etc. I tend to stick with well known brands as the quality remains but I did get a few random brand pieces that are stunning! The associate's were so sweet, they helped me gather all my things (pregnant belly problems) when I was struggling a bit after try on. They even kept insisting that we had to have ID on us to pickup our order when I was able to confirm the email, and showed them the order is ready receipt on my email with the order #. I would walk by them multiple times and no one would offer to help. Even standing right next to them. The Lululemon stores in big cities seem to understand customer service, and always are so friendly and helpful. I'm not sure what it is about the air in the San Antonio store, or if there is major lack in training, but the selection at this location isn't even worth shopping at. I'll do my shopping online or while I'm traveling instead. :)

This LB is one of them, and it's incredibly large with a vast, vast selection. Service is always exemplary at any LB I go to, and this one is no exception. 9 times out of 10 I will find something to bring home at a good deal, be it panties, bras, pants, shirts, accessories, or even shoes. And the really cool thing is if they don't have the size I need, they can ship it to me or the store for free. I always make a habit to stop by LB when I'm shopping at the RIM.

Thankfully Cotton On opened a location in North Star Mall and I've been a fan ever since. The staff at this location has always been super friendly and super helpful. Compared to other stores, this one also carries their children's clothing line which is absolutely amazing. Very helpful staff member that helped me pick the boots that I was most interested in and was very helpful and helping me order them to be delivered to the house after I tried on another pair. People here are knowledgeable and I love the fact that you can get your previously purchased boots shined up while you wait and have a drink on them.
