Came to coach crafts to get work done on both my subarus and the came out immaculate. I though my 06sti was going to be totaled but they got it fixed and was basically brand new . Then I took my 09wrx because of the quality work and customer service I received . It was fixed once again fast and quality work ! Carlos the person who deals with customers is really knowledgable of all cars but especially with subarus because he owns one himself . Carlos and his crew did an amazing job replacing my bumper! To ensure the right color they had me come in for a color match early so that I didn't have to wait too long for my car. When I went to pick up my car, my shift knob had gotten stuck (a previous problem I still had to fix) and Carlos fixed it for me when it wasn't even what I went in for. This company is beyond disappointing. They have had our vehicle for nearly three years! That is correct THREE YEARS! They were supposed to do some body work and paint work as part of a restoration project. The car sits on their lot in pieces and partially done. We have asked for a date of completion and we get lip service from the owners and management. They are conveniently not available by phone and when visiting in person, they say they will get to it this week. These conversations have been going on repeatedly. We have already made a partial payment for the work and provided parts for them. We have asked if there is a problem and they say they have just been busy. If they are too busy to take care of a car that has been there for three years, they might not need new customers. Most recently we have requested our parts inventory list and a reasonable timeline to complete the work. We have heard nothing. This was two weeks ago. THIS IS NOT HOW ANYONE SHOULD CONDUCT A BUSINESS. It is going to leave us with the only alternative of seeking legal action. They may do good work when they are accountable to an insurance company but as a private consumer, I am speechless!!!!! We have a car in pieces that will now need engine work because it has not run for years, when that portion of our restoration was completed with no resolution. This in incredulous!!! I am hoping posting a review and removing the transparency of their actions will make a difference. read more

At first I was skeptical but was assured that my car repairs would be up to standards. I have so much negative things to say about the shop but I'll get down to the gist of it. My car wasn't ready on time, operations weren't preformed. Only reason I picked up the vehicle was because he refused (Carlos)to pay for rental after they took their time with the vehicle. What sucks was that I asked if he was overwhelmed with work and said no. I asked if the color of my 17 Mustang Ruby Red was difficult and he said no a problem. They never replaced my rear tire which was paid for by the insurance claim. He didn't color sand and buff because of fear of burning the paint and having to respray it. My repairs were done back in August. I just now got a complete detail of the vehicle and you can tell the paint job was just not up to spec. At first it didn't bug me but more and more people began to tell me that I got ripped off . Even if he was to offer warranty I wouldn't let him redo in fear that he same will happen again. I didn't want to leave a bad review but I just had too after so many different opinions. read more

Back in the 80's this place was a great body shop, but it is now under new ownership. I had 2 paint jobs done on some sets of side view mirrors. I gave then the paint code for the car, plus the mirrors still had the original paint; nevertheless the paint did not match. I sold that car so I did not think about it further. I returned because they quoted a good price to paint the 2nd plastic set. This set was for a personal car. Normally cars are painted with 2-3 coats of the base color, and 2-3 coats of a clear. If the item is made of plastic then there is an additional coat of a plastic adhesion promoter. My mirrors were painted without using the adhesion promoter, and only 1 coat os base color and 1 coat of clear was applied. Very, very sub-standard. Needless to say, the mirrors immediately started chipping with every little road pebble that hit and in some parts the paint just started to come off. This all occurred in less than 2 years! Word to the wise, find a higher quality shop for your hard earned dollars. Oh, almost forgot. The customer service was horrible. Just about everytime I went to the shop, the sole guy who makes all the decisions was either stuffing his face with food at his desk or was not at the shop. No one else could assist but him. In fact, I think he may have been the only one who spoke English there too. read more

I went here with my girlfriend because she got in an accident and the people who installed the new hood did a poor job. This was one of the nicest people we dealt with when trying to fix the hood so it closes. Prices were fair and the service was quick. We will be coming back to get a paintjob for the hood. read more

I was in an accident on Monday in Santa Monica. As I was looking at my damaged car and getting ready to call AAA to tow my car back to Riverside, Carlos came up to me and asked if he could help. My front bumper was hanging off my car and hitting the ground, There was no way I could drive it in that condition not to mention other damages. He was able to put the bumper back in place good enough to drive the car. He also checked under the hood to make sure the radiator or anything else wasn't damaged. He said my car should b able to get me home which is 75 miles of highway driving away. He was right. I made it home safely. I can't thank him enough, I would be taking my car to his shop if I didn't live so far away. I can see why he has such great reviews. If I were you and needed help with your car , I would consider going to his shop. If he took time to help out a stranger just to be a considerate human being, I imagine he would be very attentive to your car in a business environment. Thanks again for coming to the rescue. After reading the reviews, I decided to take my S550 there for an estimate. I went 3-Times and all 3-Days, the meek blue haired girl behind the counter, which must be the owner's daughter because she had no customer service skills and seemed afraid to even speak, said the Carlos the estimator was not there but will be back shortly. Ok, I waited for 15 minutes on Friday afternoon, no Carlos so I left. Went back there Monday late morning and same girl, no Carlos. Then I thought I give it 1 more chance and stopped back on Tuesday and guess what, no Carlos. So with that said, bad timing, could be but judging by the good reviews and the Earl Scheib, 70's retro's body shop look, how can this business rely on a Carlos and 12 year old blue haired girl. I don't get it but they've seem to be doing well. I ended up taking my car to a place call Seidner's and they rocked! Total $4,793.45. Happy. read more
