We got takeout. The clams are packaged well. The Aaron Cheney was swimming in tomato sauce so by the time it arrived, they were a soggy mess. I would definitely get the claims again. They were delicious in a very generous portion.

My partner and I had a late evening appointment tonight and we decided to stop here after. I made a reservation but we didn't need to as it definitely wasn't busy. Our waitress was Margarita and she was attentive but not overwhelming and took excellent care of us. I was very impressed by her service. We noticed that they had $60 meal deals on Thursdays and it had some impressive options- 1 app, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts. We had the zucchini fries for an app. They were cooked well and I enjoyed them. Then we ordered the sole piccata and shrimp Alfredo. He liked his sole. I thought the shrimp Alfredo was just okay. The sauce was standard and there were only four shrimp, but I will say they were quite large. I'd have preferred if they had taken off the tails though. For dessert I had the peanut butter explosion which was nice. Very decadent but still tasty. My only critique is that they served it with cool whip instead of whipped cream. Odd choice for a higher end restaurant. My partner ordered the lemon bar but the chocolate torte came out instead. We aren't people that would send food back so he ate the torte- however Margarita noticed and gave us a lemon bar to go on the house for the mistake. It wasn't necessary but very appreciated! Overall I definitely recommend the Coachman's Lodge. It's a beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance and while the food isn't perfect the staff and setting make up for it!

Saturday night dinner at Coachmen's! We love it here. Tonight wasn't as good as usual but still great! Our server was there on her first night and she did great! The bar was super slow, but it was ok. The food was all great but a tad slow and not super hot. The flavor was great! We sat in the bar and I love the upscale casual vibe! I'm excited to come try their dinner for two menu on Thursday! Oh and the bread is yummy with the cinnamon butter!

Went for a drink and dinner in the bar area and it was a great spot! Bar tenders were great. Menu has a little bit of everything. Haven't been here for an event but have heard great things about it and it didn't from just a causal night out perspective

Well, they had a bad day. Ordered the brick chicken & it took an hour and 45 minutes to show up. Manager stated the delay was because the first order was unacceptable-he should have come out & told us when he ordered a new plate. You just can't serve undercooked chicken, get a thermometer!! They took it off the bill, comped my wife & I a beer & gave us a $20 gift card (probably should've been enough to cover an entree). Bartender was a sweetheart &. Clearly uncomfortable with her kitchen. -of course we tipped her. So upset because we have been here many times & never disappointed.

We went on Easter it was nice. Food was decent and the service was amazing we had Theresa. But we were places in the ballroom which looked nice but we couldn't even hear the person next to us it was so loud in there. We were sat smack in the middle of 2 parties of 20 plus people. Just made the dinner hard since my in-laws drove out to see us and I couldn't even talk to them. Other then that the experience was good.

I ordered a different sauce on my special ( one of the specials Frank rattled off ) it was angel hair pasta with lobster shrimp and scallops I wanted the cream sauce not the vodka. Frank assured me I could have what I want. My meal came and it was vodka sauce. We both recognized the kitchen made a mistake. Frank took it back to kitchen. He came out with the same meal seconds later stating the kitchen said it's good and I should try it this way. My husband was already eating his entree and I was hungry and I made the decision to take it because I didn't want Frank to get into trouble ( we thought Frank messed up ). Frank did not mess up. He clearly wrote Alfredo on the slip. It was the KITCHEN that refused to make it right. Here's the kicker.... Luciano's charged me $84 for my entree!!! Yes $84. Our bill was $163 with two entree and 1 beer and 1 sangria. Needless to say I was shocked and not happy. I was so disgusted that I left a 20% tip ( because Frank got it right it was the jerks in the kitchen that wouldn't change it to what I wanted. ). Never again. I tried to reach out to Luciano's 3 times and they never got back to me. Never never again. This place is way over priced and a bunch of snobs. I walked knowing I did the right thing regarding the tip but I was fuming over their non response to when I reached out to them. GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. Rino's in East Boston or Hanover St in the North End. Stay away from Luciano's.

There was no valet service, and the parking lot was already full, but we found a street parking spot very close to the restaurant. We were seated immediately at a window table overlooking the pond, one of Alicante's nicest features. We've dined here many times over the years, although our last visit was disappointing due to sluggish service. Fortunately, this evening proved to be a return to form. Ice water, wine, and warm bread arrived almost immediately as our attentive three-person service team got us settled. While the evening specials were tempting, we opted for two longtime favorites from the regular menu: Piccata di Pollo - $27 Shrimp Scampi - $29 Total with wine and tax: $84.53 Our entrées arrived promptly, hot, and beautifully prepared. The chicken piccata was exceptionally tender, complemented by a bright, flavorful lemon-butter sauce. The shrimp scampi featured perfectly cooked shrimp in a classic butter and garlic sauce that was well-balanced and not over-seasoned. As always, the portions were generous--enough that some of the chicken accompanied us home. After one less-than-memorable visit, it was nice to see Alicante back at the top of its game. Excellent food, attentive service, and a beautiful setting make this a restaurant we look forward to visiting again. Tip: Even though Alicante is on Route 16, you can park along the road. The sweet, smoky flavor, mustardy goodness isn't something I've found done as well anywhere else. And the fish itself was cooked perfectly. They paired the fish with the heartiness of the harvest grain side dish you see pictured. It was a huge serving, and I ate the whole thing because it was amaaaazing. My waitress was lovely and efficient, and I also didn't feel rushed. What made it a four star experience rather than 5 stars for me was the ambiance. The music was horrible--like 1980's big hair band type music. It was such a bizarre contrast to the rest of the upscale ambiance, which looked & felt more like a steakhouse. To my chagrin, it wasn't just one "off" song either...the awful selections kept coming throughout the meal. The music gave it more of a dive bar vibe, and it was so completely offputting that I left sooner than I otherwise would have. It honestly gives me pause when I think about coming again. And that's a real shame because I'd like to bring others here to share the amazing eats. I may try it again on another day. But if the music is the same, I'll be walking right back out the door.

The portions are good and the prices are reasonable compared to other places in the area. They still give a salad or soup with many of the dinners, and serve nice Italian bread with butter and olive oil. If your try this place and like what you got, chances are very good you will like it the next time because they are consistent. The only thing that occasionally varied is the steak tips. I chalk this up to being hard to determine in the kitchen, because until you cut into the steak, you may not know if it contains a lot of fat and nerve. All the waitresses are awesome. For example, on our recent visit there was a man with 4 small kids by himself. One of the children, who was very young, was really loud. The guy was trying to do what he could to keep the noise under control. I watched what was going on, and the waitress for the table (Dee who is absolutely awesome), another waitress, and even the woman who greet you and assigns a table all were going over and being nice and trying to help the guy out. That is really awesome and something I have never seen anywhere. To The Rome owners, management, and staff: Please keep doing things right. It was pretty mushy and just too much actual food shoved on toast. We let the last piece meet the trash. Nobody at the table was interested in it. I had the chicken parm. Nothing special.
