I have never reviewed a restaurant before, but my experience here was so horrible I had to. I want to start by saying I have been a waitress for 4 years while attending school, so I understand the struggles wait staff goes through. That being said, our waitress was so rude and snarky, I felt like simply walking into the restaurant we had offended her. There were only 2 of us, and our "hi how are you!" Was treated with a "what do you want to drink?" When we asked for a drink menu, she rolled her eyes and said we don't have that, I can just tell you what we have. We ordered our drinks, and she returned saying they didn't have that so we ordered something else. When she returned, she leaned on the table and her low cut shirt was very revealing and I felt extremely uncomfortable for her. Not really acceptable when the table is comprised of a male and a female. We ordered our meal, trying to be pleasant to make up for the bad shift she probably was having. She never smiled, and glared when I asked for nachos with jalapeños on the side. My boyfriend ordered wings, no alterations. She acted like he was a moron for not knowing he could get his wings crispy or grilled forcing her to have to prompt him. I had been craving nachos, so I was super pumped to finally get them. This is why I felt compelled to review this restaurant - these were the worst nachos I have ever had in my life. The chips were literally burned, only 10 were maybe edible. Of those 10 edible chips, about 4 had cheese on them. The "cheese" was burned as well, and these "nachos" were topped with a slab of sour cream, a sprinklingly of lettuce reminiscent of the days of rationing, and jalapeños everywhere. I thought it was a joke when she brought it out. It was missing 2 ingredients that were listed on the menu, and was covered in the only thing we asked to have on the side. I would have sent it back and said I don't want my $1 a chip nachos, but our waitress never returned until our drinks had been drained, our ice in our water had been melted, and our food had been sitting out for half a hour. This was exceptionally bad service in my eyes because we could see her sitting at a table and talking with a plethora of young men. I will never come back, and I will be sure to tell everyone that unless you want to pay $15 for a meal and still be hungry afterwords, all while feeling like Hitler for having the audacity to order a meal - do not ever eat here. Oh dear .. we had great hopes for this restaurant. Great location and looks great too. But as soon as we walked in the door (my husband, son and myself) we had a bad feeling that got worse by the minute. The server could not have been more unfriendly. She showed us to a table, shoved a few menus at us without a smile or a word .. it was really strange. We ordered, food was absolutely horrible, not even our son, who is by no means fussy, could eat his greasy, tasteless burger. Had a great lunch with my wife and daughter. The food was fresh and the portions were plentiful. My wife had the steakhouse salad with a nice size portion of steak. I had the shrimp tacos with a side Cesar salad. My daughter had the steak sandwich. Portion was large enough that she ended up taking half home. My wife and I don't eat fried food and they were super accommodating by substituting salad for fries at just small charge. We will definitely put this on list of places to go. Literally the best salad I've ever had. "STRAWBERRY FIELDS SALAD". Order it. It's amazing. Ask for chicken and the strawberry dressing.. It's to die for!!! Lettuce, Baby spinach, Feta Cheese, Strawberries and more! I would come back here just for the salad alone!! Great place! read more

We went as a party of 7 for my birthday. The waitress was a girl I went to high school with, very nice and assertive. The food was good, appetizers were a little overpriced.. $13 for four small deep fried crab balls. Some of my party ordered side salads, usually the salads come out before the entrees, not here. That would have been nice. Also, my dad ordered a club (very simple) and he didn't get it until about five minutes after all of us got our food. Horrible experience. My dish was delivered with chewing gum stuck to the bottom. I brought it to the servers attention and they just walked away with it. Nice new restaurant - much needed in Purcellville. Located in the new Harris Teeter Shopping Center, this nice place is clean, cheerful, friendly, and a nice value. Being leery of "sports" bar/restaurants which tend to serve fried everything, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of fresh, clean, well prepared dishes for the salad / grilled / light fare fan. The best thing about this night was how hard my husband and I were laughing by the end of it. We have been here many times and it is reliable if unremarkable in terms of food quality and service. This night was just downright comical. We ordered-and waited. And waited. And waited. My daughter was able to procure a glass of water. When we asked the waiter where our draft beers were he said the bar was backed up. They weren't busy and the bartender was I think chatting with friends? On her phone? Filing her nails? Server seemed to imply they were having a beef with one another-perhaps a lovers' quarrel? Then other employees starting coming to our table to give us the gossip about what may or may not have been going on and to generally offer sympathy about the lack of service from "the tall guy." Our food came. It was wrong, We laughed some more and sent it back. Thanks to the manager who bought us a round of drinks and took 20% of our bill. We had high hopes for this new Purcellville restaurant and were willing to take minor issues with a grain of salt since they are still very new. However, we were not impressed. They were probably busier than normal due to the storm, but there were just so many issues: -my chair was dirty with grease and crumbs -we had to wait a really long time for our food to come out even when the restaurant was not as busy -we asked for our soups to come out before the entrees and they basically came out at the same time. By the time I finished the soup, my fries and burger were getting cold. -the french onion soup would be better with some sort of bread or croutons in it, like they do at Greene Turtle -the menu was not as clear as other restaurants regarding sides. Thankfully our waitress was understanding and gave us the price we thought we were supposed to get. (in all honestly, I felt the soup should have been on the house for the long wait and bad timing with our entrees) -one of our burgers was VERY medium rather than medium well. Neither burger came with tomato and they were out of bacon. -our drinks were never refilled -our waitress walked by us about 8 times not acknowledging that we were ready to pay (the restaurant was not even half full at this point) We may try again once they get more on their feet, but we'll stick to Andy's in Lovettsville for now. read more

I seriously think people don't know what good food and good service is, but it ain't here! The place smelled like dirty dishwater, the waitress was inept (took our order without writing it down and came back from the kitchen as she forgot, never checked for refills), food was mediocre at best! When we asked for our check, and handed her our credit card immediately (which would indicate to someone with a brain "oh they're in a hurry to leave"!), she stopped at a table to chat. I come here at least once a week. I am constantly surprised as I try different menu items at the depth of flavor and wonderful goodness of the food. The salads are large and tasty. My husband and I ate here yesterday for the first time. We both ordered a burger with Old Bay fries. The burgers were juicy but not greasy and very large. Unless you order a specialty burger, your burger will come out with no condiments except lettuce and tomato. So order a burger with any additional toppings you want. But we will be back. read more

Best burger in Loudoun County. For decor, this place would get two stars: Formica tables, mass-produced chairs and booths, and generic "sports stuff" on the walls. For ambiance, two stars: noisy, crowded, and loud, with lots of hungry teenagers and harried parents. For service, three stars: friendly, accurate, but slow and occasionally inattentive. So why doesn't it get two or two-and-a-half stars? Because the food - which is, after all, the reason for going there - was *astonishing*. Beyond good. Beyond even excellent. Really, hands down, the absolute best burger I've had in Loudoun County, including my former absolute favorite Magnolia's at the Mill. Kaiser bun obviously fresh, soft but not gooey, able to stand up to a burger cooked rare and not dissolve. Burger cooked to order - rare - and lovely, full of flavor, thick and juicy. French fries done to perfection, full of salty goodness. Despite the Formica, despite the teenagers, despite the noise - I am already looking forward to my next visit. YUM. read more

Love this place! Salmon salad is AWESOME! Marinated in magic. Wild caught Alaskan for only like $12 from the bar special menu-an absolute steal. Best salmon I've ever had. Grilled or blackened over Caesar or house salad. Since they've opened their food has improved drastically. Soft pretzel sticks are delicious as are the "hogettes" (petite pork shanks, I think) served with bbq sauce. I'm in here way too often. Just off and on at first, but since food got so much better much more often now. If you tried it more than a month ago, give it another shot! read more

Excellent burger! Hard to get a medium rare burger that's actually cooked that way. I went for the blue cheese burger and it was great. Battered French fries were good, too. Just finished our second visit. The girl who sat us was super nice, took our drink orders and fixed the blinds so the sun was out of my eyes. I was so hoping she would be waiting on us! Nope. Our server was rushed and way to slow on drinks. My beer sat on the bar for several minutes before she grabbed it and bought it over. I was about 5 seconds from getting it myself. Then she bought our meals 2 minutes after our apps. Big timing issues. She just did not seem in a good mood. On the other hand the food was pretty good. In fact the crab app was great. We have thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Coach's. Have never had any issues with rude waitstaff like other reviewers mentioned. Positive experience each and every time. The owner, Rob is always accommodating and willing to make things as good as they can get. We love the buffalo chicken dip and get it every time. The outside eating area is really nice too, it's nice to be able to sit outside when it's good weather. This is a great restaurant and def gives back to the community which in itself is awesome. Only complaint I really have is the parking situation, it stinks!!! We will def be back! read more

The owner has decided to get together with the film crew that is live streaming the Valley basketball game tonight and block the entire community from viewing and only allowing 100 people to see the game. We decided to try out a new place, since we are new in town. It was a Tues night, and there were only 3 of us (including our 2-yr-old son.) It wasn't very full when got there, but did fill up after about a 1/2 hr. It took over an hour to get our appetizer and our son's food, which we ordered first thing. The food is lacking ambition and depth. I and my family have been here a few times and we have order different things every time. In my opinion the food is over priced for the taste level. What I mean is the meat in the hamburgers are not seasoned and everything has very bland level to it. It reminds me of food I would throw on the grill at home. I usually look at going out to get food I can't make at home in twenty minutes. This is not the case with Coaches Corner. It seems like an attempted at a bar but wanted to draw in families on the off days to stay a float. read more
