Tires and inspections, anything else, I would NOT recommend. Low Down and Trifling...I literally wasted $450 for nothing. 20 years of living in Jacksonville, I should've known better. If you knew what you recommended, was not going to fix my vehicle, why would you even do it...clearly no honor or integrity. Why the hell (did/would/should) I have expected an honest mechanic? Used to be reasonably priced, charged me $60 per tire for mount and balancing. $270 after tax. Tires psi were 33,35,45 and 48 after. Don't know if it's because I'm a woman or what but could at least have filled them properly if they were going to over charge. Last time my husband came for our other vehicle it was $30 per. read more

I have been using Chico's for 10 years now. These guys are like a nascar pit crew getting your tires changed out. The used tires are very reasonably priced and still have plenty of life left in them so no need to be concerned that you're buying junk. Highly recommend if you're looking for an affordable option other than the outrageous cost of new tires. Also, the used tires come with a decent warranty as well. I brought my truck into Chico's thinking I needed new tires. They looked at them at let me know I did NOT need new tires and mine still have some life left on them. Where they could've easily sold me some knowing I know nothing about tires. They didn't. They were HONEST and kind to me while I was there. They did my vehicle inspection fast and I was out the door in less than 10 mins. We looked at options for when I will need tired and they were a great price. Had the pads/ rotors replaced on my 2016 VW GTI. The mechanic did a good job at a price 40% less than quoted elsewhere. Used the slotted eline rotors and bosch pads. Recommend these guys for brake jobs. read more

Been going here for years. As a former mechanic that joined the military, I can tell when someone is pulling my leg. All three of my vehicles have been serviced here. They have ALWAYS been fair and honest. They tell me the price up front and never charge me for more. They do charge standard rates. Putting new shocks and tires on my truck ran 600ish. I wanted 4 used tires. They had 4 but from different brands. I opted for two new tires. They had to order them and they were delivered the next day at the time given. I didn't have much wait time for them to put them on. The prices were a little higher than Walmart but lower than other places I checked. read more

Nevertheless, the prices I feel are reasonable and the work is honest. He There's a place inside to sit if you wish to wait on your vehicle to be fixed or whatever issues is going on. It's not much I can say as we have not encountered any issues here whatsoever. The employees all seemed knowledgeable of what they were doing. owner quoted us 35 to mount and balance a tire. i get the 7% credit card fee that's fine but when we are ready to pay and you say the total is 87 and says it was a "pain in the ass" to get the sensors in. we have been here 4+ times and it's always been 35 a tire no matter what. The owner then proceeds to ask "are you broke?" as if you're not broke for asking us for more money than all the other times. Completely rude take your business elsewhere for more than half the price. read more

One word - integrity! I recently used Chicos services due to a nail in the tire. I'll admit they weren't my first choice. However, I went to a newer establishment close by and was told the tire couldn't be repaired because it was too close to the side wall. Instead I would have to purchase a new tire because my warranty didn't extend from the west coast. Nonetheless I took it to Chicos told them what happened and the tech informed me that legally he can repair the tire. The guy could have gone with it and sold me a tire - I wouldn't have known the difference. Instead I ended up paying for a repair plus a big tip instead of paying for a new tire. I informed the owner and thanked him - told him they just found themselves a new customer for my next set of tires. read more

My rear brake caliper locked up and I couldn't get any of my tires off because the previous owner had installed locking lug nuts and lost the key and failed to mention it to me. They were able to get all four off very quickly, even with one being almost completely rounded off ,and at a very good price. Very friendly service! I'll be back again. read more

YES! So much YES! Finally a place with quality used tires who won't give you the run around or charge you extra fees. This place is the real deal. Bought two "like new" tires for my Ford Fusion today. They put them on the front and changed the old ones to the back total with tax $149. Did I mention it took less than 5 minutes?? Don't waste your money here. Charged me $45 to put on my rims and tires I already owned. Well me tires I had were directional tread meaning they are only supposed to rotate one way. I have been bringing all of my vehicles here for the last couple years, never had a problem. Yesterday my brake was smoking. Took it to Chico's, across from the air station. Charged me $180 to change the brake caliber. I was told that the brakes needed bled and to bring it back at 10 am the following day and it would be an additional $40. Drove off, truck could barely stop without pumping them first, impossible to stop quickly. Came back today at 10 am. Sat in the waiting area for 40 mins, nobody was even looking at my truck. I asked what the deal was and I was told the person working on my truck was late for work and probably would not arrive until 1pm. I left my number and told them to call when he came in. They called around 12, I went back, another person, Ben said he could bleed my brakes for $90, I was pissed and expressed my frustration and was told to take it or leave it. Since my brakes are basically not working, I allowed him to do the work and paid my $90. I called other car repair shops and the price for bleeding brakes is between $40-50. I can not express how pissed off I am, I thought I had finally found a place I could trust to take my vehicles and that is simply not the case. I will never go there again, and I will never recommend anymore of my friends to go there. Horrible service to loyal customers, is terrible business. read more

A little surprised at the reviews. I love Yelp and any other review sites to get a better feel for where I want to do business, so based off what I've read I wouldn't normally go here. Having said that, I was in a hurry to get 2 used tires and priced 3 near by locations. One had great reviews, but was too expensive and did not have what I needed in stock anyway and the other location didn't really have any reviews and was CASH only and looked a bit questionable as far as inventory that I would be given so I left there and ended up going to Chico's even though they were not the cheapest. The gentleman that helped me out was kind and professional. It did end up being more than the $50 starting fee mentioned over the phone, but the tires looked to be in very good condition and were a matching pair. It ended up being more than I really wanted to spend in this unexpected situation, but they also provided quick and friendly customer service and a decent warranty for Used tires. The location was extremely convenient for me and the shop was nice and customer friendly for a Used Tire garage, so I can't complain this visit and would actually recommend them based off this first time experience here. read more
