Just passing through town for work we stopped in to enjoy an outdoor lunch on the water. There was plenty of room on the patio but there were too many boats parked to really see the water. If you're a boat fan - this is for you! The burger was basic and plain, but the fries were seasoned and on point. I had the 1/2 & 1/2 lunch special and got the BLT and house salad. It was a pretty basic order and was served with basic style and taste. This meal was probably a solid 3-1/2. But the chicken quesadilla was a strong 4! I'm reporting your restaurant to the FDA for giving me, and probably others, food poisoning. I ordered lobster bisque which was undercooked and a burger which was pink on the inside when I ordered well done. I got sick from the lobster bisque. I believe it was done intentionally as I heard kids (maybe 20 somethong) laughing. You can't purposely make people sick and think it's OK. It's not ok. Came for a nice lunch & was very happy. 1st off its a great location. Right at the Ft Pierce Marina. Our server evana was absolutely the sweetest & best. Very attentive. So I ordered a delicious mimosa that was prosecco pineapple rum & grenadine. So good I had 2 of them. I ordered the alligator bites & conch fritters. I absolutely enjoyed the alligator way more than the conch...both were good. If I had to choose one it would be the alligator. I also enjoyed a couple of raw oysters & they come "dirty" w/ a cream,roe, or plain raw w/ horseradish& cocktail & I absolutely loved the dirty version.My friend had a Cuban & she said it was delicious & I also had a nice side salad. Seating under a tiki roof or more outdoors with triangle sail coverage. The tables and menus are sticky. COBBS Landing is a nice place for lunch in Ft Pierce. The servers are friendly and the menu is large. You might want to give yourself some time to find a parking spot! Although it looks like there is a lot of parking around noon it certainly seems to fill up! We had the special grouper sandwich with fries. For the price I thought it was certainly a small portion (that's why I only gave it a 4). It was tasty but the bun was so much bigger than the fish we only at half the bun and all the fish. I have been to Cobb's landing three times over the last few years and each time the food was terrible. This last visit and I had the Seafood gumbo. It came out cold and the shrimp was very chewy, and the sausage was burnt. The rice was so over done that it was mushy and tasteless. On top of that my beer was warm. Our service was top notch and the place had a really cool fun vibe! So glad we were able to eat here! Delicious place on the water in Fort Pierce that knows how to do food right! Had the NY Strip and it was amazing charred on the outside, perfectly medium on the inside. Trying to rival how well the streak was done was the mashed potatoes and broccoli, both perfectly seasoned! Cobb's Landing is a cute building with inside and outside seating; located on the water in marina. Our server, Lee, was great and made us feel like a regular at this spot (even though it was our first time). We received great service from Lee and all of the servers and runners who brought food out to our table throughout our visit. We started with the fish dip, which was perfectly smoky and had incredible flavor! The dip is on a special menu they had for specials, so you may not see it on the main menu online. We both ordered the crispy Grouper sandwich which was ABSOLUTELY HEAVENLY! I only get my Grouper grilled, but saw the photos of the sandwich and couldn't resist. I cannot wait to come back to Cobb's and get this again (yes, it was that good). The fries were a little over-seasoned, but sooo good. We ended with key lime pie that was in a small circular form and surrounded by strawberry pop rocks on the plate - a unique twist on a personal favorite. I have lived in Fort Pierce for 20 years and have always lived going to Cobbs Landing. Great location on the marina downtown, live music and good food. I am a single solo global traveler and usually sit at the bar. Unfortunately they were very busy i could not find a seat at the bar and I got a table. This was so disappointing. The calamari appetizer was tiny strips of breaded calamari in an Asian soy sauce at the bottom. You could not taste the calamari, it was all breading, very greasy. The first time I stumble upon this location is my husband and I anniversary and most of the places are closed early. They are the only location that is open and we went in and sat at the bar ordering drinks first. Our drinks was amazing and perfect not too light or too strong, we order the gator bites and they were so tender that we always order it when we dine there, my husband always order his favorite that is the figgy burger and my favorite the gumbo with gator bites. We only had one tiny bad service that our server forgot to put in our gator bites and we got our entree first. She did apologize but we didn't mind since they always gave us Excellent service. She comp our appetizers and gave a free dessert to apologize since it was my husband birthday. All in all, My husband and I will always come back to this wonderful place. Outdoor patio was nice overlooking the marina. Service - OK. Food - Lobster Shrimp and Grits were AMAZING! I could have done with less cheese, but can't complain on flavor. Hmmm a difficult choice for stars. Here's why. We brought the boat to Ft Pierce for a few days last month. This spot is right there and easy access. We had also enjoyed the original one many moons ago before a hurricane took out the whole marina. We sat at the bar outside mostly but had a meal at a table once. The Salmon Caesar + (whatever it's called, with the boiled eggs etc.) was great! The steamed clams were good too! The fish dip is mediocre, not bad but I won't order it again. For the most part the bartenders were great! Sadly though the last day, May 18, the bar was staffed with what can only be described as vapid mean girls-eye rolls and all. We even watched one take an OPEN bottle of beer out of the cooler, place it in the ice, then pretend to open it - wrist flair and all - for a usual customer (I think his name was Charlie. Nice guy.) The day before, my husband had ordered a beer and been handed an open bottle of the wrong kind. It was loud when he ordered, no problem, and that bartender put it back in the cooler and replaced it with his correct order. The problem is though it may have been the same one mean girl gave to Charlie! Same kind and out of the same cooler... ANYWAY the mean girls were, well mean. When my husband, a former bar owner, asked if they knew any jokes they took turns berating him for being 'old' and 'ridiculous' because 'when I was at bartending school they never told us we had to know jokes'. The food was just okay. I had the tenderloin tips. The meat was served barely warm, the potatoes were room temperature, and the veggies were actually cold. I sent it back, and the returned plate had food at an acceptable temperature . My grandson said his mushroom burger was delicious. My daughter has the half & half soup and salad and thought the half saiz portions were smaller than expected and there was nothing exceptional. The best thing to be said about the dinner is that the drinks were potent and delicious. The service was GREAT ! Our server was Maria Diane L. I think the vibes here could be better - I did like our seating by the water, but it felt too detached from the restaurant, which also could have better upkeep imo. However, the food was solid. I had the pesto chicken salad and it was delicious. I especially liked the addition of the goat cheese. I would probably have preferred the sweet potatoes to be seasoned a little more and baked more, but they were still lovely on the salad. I wasn't personally a huge fan of our calamari appetizer (there was one particular spice that I didn't like), but everyone else really enjoyed it.
